Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze the value of culture; and 2) analyze linguistic elements in praise of "Sembahyang". The method used in this research is the literature and literature hermeneutic method. The object of this study is a compliment entitled "Sembahyang" which is analyzed based on cultural values and linguistic elements. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the cultural values to be conveyed in this praise that all people have the same position in the eyes of God. God will not look at the economic conditions, classes, social strata, and physical conditions of his people. Therefore, as a people of creation God basically has the same obligation towards God. The linguistic element in the praise lyrics uses a lot of inversion sentences, namely the existence of a predicate precedes the subject.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya keefektifan model frayer dalam pembelajaran daring menulis teks deskripsi di kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan ancangan eksperimen. Adapun desain penelitiannya menggunakan pretest posttest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model frayer lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model konvensional dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Bojonegoro. Hal ini dibuktikan dari uji-t antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh thitung sebesar 1,170 dan signifikan dengan thitung <ttabel (1,170<2,003). Dengan demikian hasil uji-t pada skor prates dan pascates menunjukkan perbedaan.

Abstract

Speech is one of the skills that must be practiced by students in elementary school. Speech is one of the first steps to practice oral communication skills. The fact that occurs in the classroom that students feel less able to do this activity. In addition, students feel that their level of self-convidence is very low. In this regard, the researchers provided assistance to students to practice speech activities using the practice rehearsal pairs method. This activity was carried out at MI Mafatihul Huda. The method of implementation includes preparation, implementation of activities, evaluation, and preparation of final report. As for the result of the activites, the students confidence in giving speeches in pairs. In addition, speech practice is able to hone students speaking skills and increase students interest in learning because they study in pairs with their friends.

Abstract

In the implementation of the PKM (community service) program, it is in the form of using durian skin raw materials to be used as battery material. This training was addressed to PKK women ds. Panemon sugihwaras Bojonegoro. This workshop aims to provide knowledge and training to PKK women that the waste used for cooking can be useful. The output targets of this community service program are 1) training on making briquettes/batteries from durian skin 2) knowledge about renewable energy related to waste in daily life and 3) scientific publications. The method used in this activity uses an informal discussion between individuals and PKK groups. In this activity, information was extracted about PKK activities that have been implemented and have not been implemented in order to find out how far the existing programs in the village are. These results are used as the preparation of initial information as PKM data. The result of this PKM activity is the practice of making briquettes for PKK mothers in utilizing durian skin waste. The conclusion of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of PKK mothers for an activity to utilize existing waste in the village environment.  Keywords: Renewable energy, durian peel, battery
