Abstract

North Bandung is an area where there are several tourist attractions, including the Dago Dream Park. The main road to several locations in North Bandung is via the road in front of Terminal Dago. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to collect data on PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations at both locations, namely in front of Terminal Dago and Dago Dream Park. Data collection was carried out for seven days, from Monday to Sunday, from 08.00 to 16.00 local time. To evaluate air quality in these two places, the national standard, namely PPRI No. 22 of 2021 and international standards from WHO were applied. The measurement results show that the concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 in these two locations are still within the national standard. Meanwhile, when evaluated with WHO standards, PM10 concentrations in both locations are still within standard, but for PM2.5, there are several days where the air quality is out of the standard. The average concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 during the 7 days of measurement at Terminal Dago are 19.9 μg/m3 and 21.6 μg/m3, respectively. While the average concentration of PM2.5 and PM10 during 1 week of data collection were 18.9 μg/m3 and 19.9 μg/m3, respectively. This means that the concentration of PM2.5 and PM10 at Terminal Dago is slightly higher than that of at Dago Dream Park. In addition, based on an evaluation using national standards, Dago Dream Park tourist attractions still have good air quality and are safe for local residents and tourists. From the data recorded at the Health Centre (Puskesmas), the number of ARI cases in the two locations in 2020 and 2021 is relatively not much different.

Abstract

Kota Baru Parahyangan is located between Cimahi City and Padalarang. As an area designed as a satellite city, Kota Baru Parahyangan has various facilities including a business centre. In the present study, PM10 and PM2.5 will be measured at three business centres and one residential location located at the southernmost point for comparison. Data collection was carried out on 2 weekdays, namely Monday and Tuesday, and 2 weekends, namely Saturday and Sunday. The data collection time is from 08:00 to 15:30, where data collection is carried out every 30 minutes. Based on these measurements, PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations in three business centre locations and 1 residential location are still under the PPRI No. 22 of 2021 standards. Meanwhile, when evaluated using Kepmen LHK No. 14 of 2020, the API level for PM10 in three business centre locations and 1 residential location is in the "Good" category. However, the API level for PM2.5 in three business centre locations and 1 residential has reached the "Moderate" category. This means that the concentration of PM2.5 in business centre and residential in Kota Baru Parahyangan should be seriously considered by developer and local government. Because it is confirmed that PM2.5 concentrations will continue to increase over time with increasing activity and an increase in the number of vehicles passing through a region.

Abstract

This paper describes how the game is a tool to support the strengthening of character education for its users. In implementing the Independent Learning Education, Merdeka Campus, Bandung State Polytechnic, collaborated with the industry to apply gamification to the concept of character education and the nation's cultural values. Some of the objectives of this gamification activity are: (a) Getting the ethnic group’s information; (b) Providing users inspiration to develop themselves; (c) Growing a better direction mindset. The game developed is a web-based application (online gamification), so as many students/students and lecturers as possible can use the game to support strengthening character education and the nation's cultural values. The manual version of the video game content (prototype) is available, namely the 2021 research output containing Pancasila character content based on ethnic excellence. The elements of educational content in online gamification contain the results of identifying the prominent characters of 10 ethnic groups in Indonesia with the largest population (Dayak, Madura, Jawa, Sunda, Baduy, Batak, Banjar, Minahasa, Betawi, Minang). This study used three approaches which are Qualitative-Explorative, Qualitative-Descriptive, and Evaluation. The method used to know how gamification was implemented in character education and the nation's cultural values. It is hoped that gamification can integrate into the learning process for compulsory national subjects. Thus, students can become users and a market for the gamification industry.

Abstract

Efficiency in the use of electricity is a necessity for the sustainability of a better life. Almost all human activities utilize electrical energy, such as household appliances, industry, and even vehicles. This research contains the efficiency of electricity use in a housing by applying graph theory in optimizing the electricity distribution network system. The purpose of this study is to optimize the electricity distribution network system in the residential area of Kota Mas Cimahi, so that the best network model is obtained. Network data and information were obtained from PT. PLN UP3 Cimahi, West Java. The method used is to determine the minimum spanning tree in the electricity distribution network model by applying the Floyd-Wish algorithm. The initial model of the power grid was constructed by data on the position of substations and power poles, the number of power poles, and the length of the power cables connecting the poles. The data used is data on a line from several electricity distribution lines in this housing. The result of the minimum cable length on this line is 349 meters. The results of this study are expected to provide alternative solutions and additional information in planning and structuring the power grid optimally. Furthermore, the results of this research can also be used by PLN in order to support the government's program towards the efficiency of using electrical energy to serve the community because they get electricity services faster and cheaper

Abstract

Abstract

The addition of new houses in the Kota Mas Cimahi housing complex has triggered an increase in the need for electricity distribution installations. To optimize the electricity distribution network, in this case minimizing the installation of electrical cables, an application is needed that can optimize the installation of electrical cables, namely the Kruskal algorithm which is an algorithm for finding the minimum spanning tree value on a weighted graph. In this study, two methods will be used, namely the manual method and the POM-QM for Windows software to help solve the minimum spanning tree problem. This study's goal is to identify the Kota Mas Cimahi housing complex's energy distribution network model's graph structure and determine a minimum spanning tree solution with POM-QM for Windows software and the Kruskal technique done by hand. In order to gather data for this study, PLN was the primary and secondary source Cimahi UP3. The distribution data for the electricity cable network is arranged in the form of a network image. By representing the electricity distribution network in the form of a graph, the minimum spanning tree is then obtained, and the solution to the MST (Minimum Spanning Tree) problem uses the Kruskal algorithm and TORA software. The results of the study showed that the minimum spanning tree cable length which was originally 1424.61 meters, after using the Kruskal algorithm manually became 1258.05 meters and also by using the POM-QM for Windows software obtained a minimum result of 1258.05 meters, so it can be concluded that there is a cable length efficiency of 11.69%.

Abstract

Prim's algorithm is an algorithm that is applied to determine the minimum spanning tree to optimize a network. In this research, the Prim algorithm will be applied to minimize the length of electrical cables used in an electricity distribution network. The data needed to build an initial model is the number of electricity poles on an electricity network, the position of the electricity poles, and the length of the cable connecting the two electricity poles. The electricity network used is in the management area of PT. PLN UP3 Cimahi, West Java. This initial model is represented by a weighted connected graph, where an electricity substation or an electricity pole is a vertex and an electricity cable connecting two electricity poles is an edge in the graph. The weight of this graph is the length of the cable. After the Prim algorithm is run on this graph, the minimum spanning tree is obtained which is the shortest length of electrical cable needed to connect all electricity poles, namely 1258.05 meters. When compared to the length of the existing cable that is being used, which is 1275.86 meters, the results of this study provide a cable efficiency of 17.81 meters. Thus, it is expected to provide cost efficiency arising from the price of the cable and its installation costs. This result is expected to provide input to PT. PLN UP3 Cimahi as an energy efficiency effort launched by the government.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing individuals' intention to continue using gamification applications in learning, utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology-Task Fit (TTF). Data were collected through a survey of 304 respondents using gamified learning in Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) was conducted to analyze the relationships between variables and test a series of hypotheses. Then, it was analyzed using Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA). Using SEM-PLS and IPMA, the findings revealed that TTF constructs influence perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU), except for technology characteristics, which do not significantly impact PEOU. Additionally, attitude is influenced by the two main TAM variables: PU and PEOU. The continuance intention to adopt gamification is influenced by attitude. This study will assist educators, educational institutions, gamification application developers, policymakers, and others concerned with the future development of education in designing effective strategies to enhance the adoption of gamification in learning. This study is the first to empirically employ the TAM and TTF to analyze the adoption of gamification applications in higher education.
