Abstract

In this study, the researchers investigated the state of water sources and the potential of bentonite as a water treatment agent. The study encompassed measurements of key water quality parameters for river and well water sources, including pH, TDS, conductivity, and salinity. The findings revealed that while pH levels were generally within the clean water standards, TDS values exceeded the threshold, particularly in river water samples. This suggests contamination due to urban activities and rising sea levels. Furthermore, the study explored using both activated and non-activated bentonite as an adsorption agent to remove contaminants from water sources. The results indicated that bentonite effectively increased pH levels, especially in well water samples, and significantly reduced TDS, conductivity, and salinity values, with non-activated bentonite being a preferred option for river water treatment and activated bentonite for well water treatment. These findings emphasize the potential of bentonite as a valuable water treatment solution. The specific characteristics of the water source should guide the choice between activated and non-activated bentonite. This tailored approach can lead to more effective and sustainable water treatment, contributing to improved water quality and availability for the community in the coastal region.

Abstract

Abstract. Technology is currently experiencing very rapid development. This technological facility has expanded into various fields, one of which is the financial industry. Digital wallets are one of the most prominent innovations in Financial Technology (fintech). Digital wallets offer ease in making infaq donations. However, a weakness of digital transactions is that donors cannot clearly ascertain whether the funds given have been properly distributed if there is no financial transparency from the social institutions receiving the donor funds. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to examine how transparency in the use of digital wallets affects donor trust in infaq. This study is a library research employing a descriptive qualitative method. The research was conducted by searching for articles published between 2020 and 2024 from the Google Scholar database using keywords such as ”fundraising technology”, ”digital infaq”, ”transparansi infaq”, and ”kepercayaan infaq digital” The results of the study found 10 articles that met the predetermined inclusion criteria. Based on several articles, it is quite clear that transparency affects trust, making it crucial to ensure that donors feel secure in entrusting their funds to the organization.

Abstract

Rapid technological developments have increased the use of gadgets among children and teenagers. Devices provide benefits in the form of easy access to information, but excessive use can have negative impacts, including adding gadgets. Children aged 12-15 years are the group most vulnerable to the negative impacts of gadgets. Families, especially parents, play an important role in supervising and guiding children in using devices. This research aims to determine the relationship between family supervision of screen time and the incidence of device addiction in junior high school children. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional design using primary data from the community of Kelurahan 5 Ulu Palembang with 91 samples that have met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This research sample was taken by means of consecutive sampling. The results of the statistical test obtained a P-value of 0.000, so it can be concluded that there is a correlation between family supervision of screen time and the incidence of gadget addiction in junior high school children.

This research aims to analyze the driving factors of deforestation and the impact of deforestation in the novel Jejak Balak by Ayu Welirang using the perspective of literary ecocriticism. This research is a qualitative research that uses analytic descriptive method. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading technique, library technique, and note-taking technique.
