Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan komunikasi lingkungan oleh Komunitas Jurnalis Peduli Lingkungan Indonesia sebagai upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan pencemaran limbah masyarakat dan industri di Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KJPL menggunakan perencanaan komunikasi dengan 8 langkah komunikasi lingkungan dalam menjalankan programnya. Selain melalui kegiatan langsung dengan masyarakat dan perusahaan, KJPL juga menggunakan media seperti radio, baliho, plang larangan dan media online. KJPL memahami apa yang biasa masyarakat dan perusahaan lakukan yang berpotensi terhadap pencemaran lingkungan sekitar. KJPL memahamkan dan mengarahkan masyarakat maupun perusahaan dengan cara komunikasi penyampaian informasi dari pemerintah secara pribadi ataupun dalam sebuah acara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cognitive dissonance experienced by Queer Muslims against the pressure of heteronormativity in the teachings and culture of Islam. The challenges of heteronormativity contradict the decisions they inspire themselves AS Queer. The purpose of this research is to find individual ways Queer Muslims in overcoming the inner conflict between identity and heteronormativity that intertwine in their lives. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach which is analyzed using Leon Festinger's Cognitive Dissonance theory. This study concludes that there is fear, avoidance and rejection felt by Queer when they get heteronormativity pressure in their environment. This has an impact on the relationship between humans and God which is distant, so that Queer looking for a way to keep religion and belief. The focus of this research is on intrapersonal and interpersonal relations AS a result of cognitive dissonance which can be used AS a reference study for other themed Queer muslim.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the reception of first-time voters towards Ganjar Pranowo's personal branding on Instagram, based on the political developments that are leading towards digitalization in new media. The selection of first-time voter subjects from outside Ganjar's leadership area is done to avoid bias due to the influence of leadership on the subjects. This study employs a reception analysis method using in-depth interviews as primary data, which are then analyzed using the personal branding aspects theory proposed by Peter Montoya. The research identified one first-time voter who held an opposition position towards one aspect of Ganjar Pranowo's personal branding on Instagram, while the rest were in a negotiation and dominant position. The results of this research suggest that, according to first-time voters, Ganjar is viewed as an ideal leader who is close to the people, firm, easygoing with all classes of society, and respected, regardless of other intentions behind it. Ganjar uses an approach to address societal issues to gain interest and support from the public. This research is limited to posts understood by the respondents until November 2022 on the Instagram platform. It is hoped that future research will further explore this topic with broader media coverage and subjects.

Abstract

Desa Tambak Cemandi memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat, namun masih terkendala oleh rendahnya literasi digital, minimnya strategi komunikasi, dan belum optimalnya promosi destinasi wisata secara mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas literasi digital masyarakat melalui pendekatan integratif berupa pelatihan, Forum Group Discussion, dan pendampingan intensif. Metode partisipatif diterapkan untuk melibatkan perangkat desa, pemuda, kelompok sadar wisata, dan pelaku UMKM dalam proses penguatan kemampuan digital dan komunikasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan peserta dalam mengelola media sosial, mengisi konten website desa, serta membuat narasi promosi digital. Terjadi pula perubahan positif dalam cara pandang masyarakat terhadap promosi berbasis komunitas. Pendampingan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan individu, tetapi juga membentuk sinergi antar pemangku kepentingan untuk membangun identitas digital desa yang berkelanjutan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa literasi digital yang dikembangkan secara kolaboratif mampu menjadi katalis transformasi menuju desa digital.
