Abstract

Background - The need for fuel oil is a primary need for fishermen, this is an important role for PT Gresik Migas as the manager of the Gas Station, which is a retail business that is an extension of Pertamina to maintain the availability of fuel oil in the community with good inventory control. Objectives - This study aims to describe the inventory control that has been carried out by the company and compare it with the Economic Order Quantity inventory control method. Design/Methodology/Approach - This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used are unstructured interviews, structured interviews, documentation and focused group discussions. Findings - The results of this study state that the inventory control carried out by PT Gresik Migas is less effective and often occurs overstock and stockout because there are no provisions for the order quantity and order time. Meanwhile, inventory control using the Economic Order Quantity method is considered more effective to avoid overstock and stockout with an order quantity of 16,912 liters for Bio Solar and 6,724 liters for Pertalite, with the time to place an order at the inventory point of 15,000 liters for Bio Solar and 6,000 liters for Pertalite. Research Implications - The findings of this study can be used as a reference if further research faces conditions similar to the findings in this study. Research Limitations - This research has limitations on fuel demand forecasting.

Abstract

Background - Educational institutions, such as schools and universities, have a strategic role in shaping the character, intellectual abilities and skills of students to face future challenges. However, educational institutions also have to face complex challenges, such as social, technological and environmental changes that continue to develop. Therefore, educational institutions need to have an adaptive and innovative organizational culture. In this article, we will discuss the concept of organizational culture and its important role in creating a conducive work environment, as well as the factors that influence organizational culture in educational institutions. Aim - The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of transformational leadership on the dimensions of Dennison's organizational culture, namely work relations, employee involvement and satisfaction and change management as moderating variables and carried out at the Bina Insan Bangkalan Foundation as a research object. Desaign/ methodology/ approach - This research was conducted using a quantitative approach, which is a study that aims to test theory and examine causal relationships on research objects at the Bina Insan Foundation Educational Institution, so that it can produce a general conclusion. Research using a quantitative approach emphasizes data consisting of numbers, and can be analyzed. using statistical procedures with the SMART PLS data processing application system. Results and Discussion - Transformative leadership is still considered to be one of the most important things for the continuity of good performance and organizational culture at the Bina Insan Bangkalan Foundation. this is shown based on research results, how leadership influences significantly and positively towards the creation of a good Organizational Culture dimension, which includes employee involvement, employee satisfaction, and work relations. a leader who is considered good and able to accommodate the existing system at the Bina Insan Bangkalan Foundation is still the main axis for carrying out all existing activities. In addition, it is also based on research results that change which is a control variable actually weakens the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational culture that has been built. This means that for the current period, the Bina Insan Foundation still has not accepted any structured changes. Conclussion - The results showed that transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on the Denison dimensions of Organizational Culture (change management, employee satisfaction, and involvement. However, change management weakened the relationship between transformational leadership variables on the Denison dimensions of organizational culture at the Bina Insan Bangkalan Foundation. Research Implication – This research can provide an overview of the independent variables from the Denison dimensions of organizational culture, one of which is transformational leadership and change management.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the marketing strategy implemented by Desata Used Car Showroom in Gresik, East Java, which uses qualitative methods. The focus of the research is on the meaning and in-depth interpretation of human behavior and social phenomena. The research location is at Showroom Desata Used Car with two main informants: RDC (owner) and AF (inspector and marketing). Primary data was collected through observation and discussion forums, while secondary data was obtained from previous studies. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Desata Used Car has implemented a Marketing Mix strategy consisting of product, price, location, and promotion. The product strategy focuses on diversity to meet changing market interests, while the price strategy is adjusted to the condition of the car units being sold. Although the location of the showroom is not considered important by the owner, marketplace platforms such as OLX play an important role in reaching consumers. Promotion strategies are carried out through social media and marketplaces to increase sales. The conclusion of the study indicates that product and promotion strategies have a significant influence on increasing sales. The recommendation for Desata Used Car is to try a more detailed Marketing Mix strategy, such as 7P or 11P, to optimize their marketing efforts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi konsep lean office dalam optimalisasi tata letak kantor di Balai Besar Kekarantinaan Kesehatan (BBKK) Surabaya Wilayah Kerja Gresik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi meliputi tata ruang kantor yang belum optimal dan kurangnya fasilitas umum yang berdampak pada efektivitas pelayanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teori fenomenologi transdental, dan melibatkan pengumpulan data primer dari Tim Kerja Surveilans dan Penindakan Pelanggaran Kekarantinaan Kesehatan, Tim Pengawasan Faktor Risiko Kesehatan Alat Angkut dan Barang, serta dua orang keagenan kapal. Data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan bulanan registrasi kapal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi tata letak kantor saat ini belum selaras dengan penerapan lean office yang tepat, terutama pada area tunggu pelayanan agen kapal. Optimalisasi tata ruang dengan konsep lean office difokuskan pada efisiensi alur kerja dan pengurangan pemborosan, termasuk penataan layout kursi yang fleksibel di area lobby dan penempatan strategis ruang laktasi. Implementasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan efisiensi operasional BBKK Surabaya Wilker Gresik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun budaya 5R (Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, Rajin) di Departemen Quality Control pada PT. Sumber Mas Indah Plywood. Melalui observasi dan wawancara, teridentifikasi bahwa penerapan 5R masih perlu ditingkatkan karena kondisi lingkungan kerja yang kurang teratur dan bersih. Usulan Form Penilaian 5R dikembangkan untuk memberikan alat ukur yang jelas dalam menilai penerapan prinsip-prinsip 5R, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas karyawan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan implementasi form secara rutin dan melibatkan seluruh karyawan dalam proses penilaian, guna menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih nyaman dan produktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Social Media Marketing (SMM) dan Destination Image terhadap Visit Intention, dengan Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) sebagai variabel moderasi pada Waroeng Kae di Kabupaten Gresik. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 170 responden yang memenuhi kriteria, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS), yaitu bagian dari pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang cocok digunakan untuk data yang tidak selalu memenuhi asumsi normalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Social Media Marketing memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Visit Intention. Selain itu, Destination Image memberikan pengaruh yang sangat kuat terhadap minat kunjungan calon pengunjung. Electronic Word of Mouth juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Visit Intention, serta memperkuat hubungan antara Social Media Marketing dan Destination Image terhadap niat kunjungan. Nilai R-Square sebesar 0,677 menunjukkan bahwa model penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan 67,7% variasi dalam Visit Intention, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model. Hasil ini selaras dengan beberapa penelitian terdahulu yang menyatakan bahwa E-WOM, citra destinasi, dan strategi media sosial sangat berpengaruh terhadap niat kunjungan wisatawan kuliner. Sebagai rekomendasi praktis, manajemen Waroeng Kae disarankan untuk meningkatkan kualitas konten digital di media sosial, membangun citra destinasi yang positif, serta menggalakkan ulasan positif dari pelanggan sebagai alat promosi yang efektif. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk memperluas objek penelitian serta menambah variabel baru agar hasilnya lebih generalisabel.

Abstract

Untuk bentuk program pemberdayaan masyarakat berdasar potensi dan permasalahan pembangunan Desa pada masa Pandemi COVID-19. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan secara virtual menggunakan aplikasi Zoom. Hasil Pengabdian diikuti oleh 21 peserta menggunakan media zoom. Kegiatan Pemberdayaan Desa Betoyoguci dalam bentuk pembelajaran materi pemberdayaan bersifat tentang E-Commerce, pendampingan pembuatan akun E-Commerce Tokopedia dan tutorial alternative cara membuat usaha kreatif ditengan pandemic yang ekonomis, dan mudah. Terutama untuk mempertahankan eksistensi usaha rumahan yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat. Implementasi pemberdayaan dilakukan dengan mengadakan pendampingan pembuatan akun Tokopedia sebagai platform e-commerce yang mudah dan memberikan panduan contoh membuat usaha Dessert Box dan Budidaya Ikan dalam Ember (BUDIKDAMPER). Bentuk pemberdayaan yang tepat pada Desa Betoyoguci pada saat pandemic Covid-19 adalah pemberdayaan pendampingan pembelajaran E-Commerce untuk mempertahankan kelangsungan usaha rumahan yang dimiliki masyarakat dan memberikan peluang baru untuk membuka usaha.

Abstract

The major objective of this study is to determine the e-procurement system requirements of this research company. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method. The method of data collecting used in this study consists of interviews with single informants, system documentation, and observations. Using a Waterfall paradigm, this method follows the three-stage System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including needs-based system analysis, design, and requirements formulation. Out of the three systems the company used, none of them were actually fit for their goals according the research. Especially, the three procurement processes were not as quick or effective as the company had intended. With integrated capabilities based on the needs of the business and automation tools, one may design the system including all three functions and features. One might use the System Development Life Cycle technique along with a Waterfall model for this aim.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan persyaratan sistem e-procurement dari perusahaan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari wawancara dengan informan tunggal, dokumentasi sistem, dan observasi. Dengan menggunakan paradigma Waterfall, metode ini mengikuti System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tiga tahap termasuk analisis sistem berbasis kebutuhan, desain, dan formulasi persyaratan. Dari ketiga sistem yang digunakan perusahaan, tidak ada satupun yang benar-benar sesuai dengan tujuan mereka menurut penelitian. Khususnya, ketiga proses pengadaan tidak secepat atau seefektif yang diinginkan perusahaan. Dengan kemampuan terintegrasi berdasarkan kebutuhan bisnis dan alat otomatisasi, seseorang dapat merancang sistem yang mencakup ketiga fungsi dan fitur. Seseorang dapat menggunakan teknik System Development Life Cycle bersama dengan model Waterfall untuk tujuan ini.

Abstract

This study was conducted at Ibnu Sina Regional Hospital in Gresik Regency with the aim of improving the accuracy of drug demand forecasting. The main issue in the hospital's drug inventory management is the inaccuracy in estimating demand, which leads to the risk of stock shortages or surpluses and disrupts healthcare services. The study seeks to compare the effectiveness of the currently used consumption-based method with the Single Exponential Smoothing method as a more adaptive alternative to changes in demand. A descriptive approach was used, utilizing historical order and usage data of ten selected generic drugs from July to December 2023. Forecasting accuracy was evaluated using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) indicator. The results indicate that the Single Exponential Smoothing method provides higher accuracy compared to the consumption method, with MAPE values below 10% for most of the drug data. Therefore, this method is more effective in minimizing forecasting errors and supports more efficient and timely drug procurement decisions. The study concludes that implementing the Single Exponential Smoothing method can enhance drug inventory management and is worth considering as the basis for a hospital drug demand forecasting system.
