Abstract

This research aims to integrate Islamic values in teaching English for junior high school students based on Merdeka Curriculum. Using a qualitative approach, this study collected data through sources on journal articles and analysis of curriculum documents and relevant teaching materials. Islamic values, such as honesty, discipline, and mutual respect, were identified and analyzed to find out how they are applied in the context of English learning. The results show that the integration of these values can not only improve students' understanding of the language, but also shape positive characters that are in line with Islamic teachings. In addition, teaching strategies involving collaborative activities and self-reflection proved effective in facilitating the application of these values. This study recommends the development of more contextualized and relevant teaching materials, as well as training for teachers to understand and implement this approach effectively. Thus, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of education that is not only oriented towards language skills, but also the formation of student character in accordance with Islamic values within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study explores the application of technology-based learning media in Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) for eleventh-grade students at SMA N 1 Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, while analysis followed the steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate that technology-based media have been integrated into PPKn instruction in this classroom, with teachers skillfully managing their use despite challenges. Key obstacles include time required for device setup, limited Wi-Fi access, and student-reported issues, such as distracting shadows on PPT slides, unclear text, and low video volume. To address these challenges, teachers take measures such as preparing media in advance to maximize instructional time, providing alternative media options if needed, ensuring internet access through personal mobile data for hotspotting, incorporating student feedback into media evaluation, and participating in school-provided training on effective technology use in teaching. This research is limited to only one school in Agam Regency, West Sumatra, so the same problems may not be found in other places, for example in urban areas, obstacles such as internet access are not a major problem.

Abstract

Ayam KUB adalah ayam kampung galur (strain) baru, merupakan singkatan dari ayam kampung unggul balitbantan. Ayam KUB persilangan dari sesama ayam kampung dari seleksi genetiknya dilakukan sebanyak 6 generasi, sejak tahun 1997-2010 oleh tim balai penelitian dan perkembangan penelitian (Balitbantan) di Ciawi, Bogor. Penetasan merupakan proses perkembangan embrio didalam telur sampai menetas. Penetasan telur ayam dapat dilakukan secara alami maupun buatan. Penetasan buatan lebih praktis dan efisien dibandingkan penetasan alami karena memiliki kapasitas yang lebih besar. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas, maka rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah pengaruh bobot telur ayam KUB 2 Janaka Agrinak terhadap daya tetas dan bobot tetas DOC. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Pengujian Standar Instrumen Unggas dan Aneka Ternak pada bulan Maret-April 2024. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kelompok (periode) dengan masing-masing unit percobaan berupa 300 butir telur tiap unit percobaan, sehingga terdapat 12 unit percobaan 1 unit percobaan itu = 1 perlakuan × 1 kelompok. Hasil yang di dapatkan dari pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu Hasil analisis ragam menunjukan bahwa pengaruh bobot telur ayam KUB 2 Janaka Agrinak terhadap daya tetas dan bobot tetas DOC tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap daya tetas dan fertilitas akan tetapi, berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot tetas pada penetasan telur ayam KUB janaka agrinak.
