Abstract

The problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students. The objectives of this study are: (1) To overcome the description of the use of the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning Model on Mathematics learning outcomes, (2) To find out the description of mathematics learning outcomes, (3) To find out the effect of the use of the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning Model on students' Mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses the Quasi Experimental approach of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design Type. The research variable is the Cooperative Learning Type Group Investigation learning model. The population of the entire study was 45 students in class V-B as the experimental class and class V-A as the control class at UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Barayya 1. The data analysis technique used was inferential analysis, it was obtained that the data produced in this study were normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using Independent Sample T-test data showed that there was an effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the research shows that (1) The description of the implementation of the learning process using the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning Model shows that each stage of the learning implementation can take place effectively and is categorized as very high, (2) The description of the mathematics learning outcomes of students after implementing the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning Model reaches a very good category, (3) The Cooperative Learning Type Cooperative Learning Model has a significant influence on the mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of students' low ability to understand English vocabulary. The aims of this research are: 1) to find out the description of the use of flash card media at SD IT Wahdah Islamiyah 01 Antang, 2) to find out the description of students' ability to understand English vocabulary at SD IT Wahdah Islamiyah 01 Antang, and 3) to find out whether there are Whether or not the use of flash card media has an influence on the ability to understand English vocabulary of students at SD IT Wahdah Islamiyah 01 Antang. This research is included in experimental research with a quantitative approach. The design used in this research is a quasi-experimental type with a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection techniques use tests and observation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the use of flash card media is very effective. The results of inferential analysis using the independent sample t-test showed that t-count > t-table so that the Ha hypothesis was accepted and Ho was rejected. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: 1) The use of flash card media was carried out very effectively. 2) The ability to understand language vocabulary after using flash card learning media has increased. 3) There is an influence of the use of flash card media on students' ability to understand English vocabulary in class II of SD IT Wahdah Islamiyah 01 Antang.

Abstract

This research aims at developing learning mathematics utilized by Cabri media to improve fifth graders’ ability problem-solving. This research develops learning instruments using Plomp Model. The developed learning instruments are syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, students worksheets, and problem solving abilities test. The subjects are students in the fifth grade of State Elementary School 3 of Makassar. The result shows the implementation of learning mathematics utilizing the developed learning instruments is effective. It can be described in more detail that: (1) the characteristics developed learning instruments are revealed valid by validators, (2) the learning completeness classically fulfilled since the result of the experimental group is better than the result of the control group; (3) there is a significant effect in students activities toward the students’ problem-solving abilities, and (4) the students have a positive response to the learning processes that utilize the developed learning instruments.
