Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding probiotics to water quality, Bacillus sp population and production performance of striped catfish. Completely randomized design experiment with three treatments ponds without probiotics without changing water (NN), ponds plus probiotics without changing water (PNW) and ponds given probiotics with 10% water change per day (PW). three replications each. The results showed that the water quality in the experimental pond was still within the acceptable range for fish growth. The TOM levels of the ponds that were given probiotics were lower than the control ponds. The PNW ponds with the lowest TOM levels turned out to have the highest TAN levels. The population of Bacillus sp in NN, PNW and PW ponds was not significantly different (P>0.05), however, the population of Bacillus PNW was 42.51% higher than NN, while PW was 17.38% higher than NN ponds. The abundance of plankton and the uniformity index of NN, PNW, and PW ponds were not significantly different (P>0.05). The abundance of plankton in NN was 203% higher than PNW and PW was 73% higher than PNW ponds. The growth rate and individual weight gain were significantly different (P<0.05), the growth rate of the PNW pond was higher than that of the NN pond, while the PW pond was the same as the PNW and NN ponds. The highest additional individual weight was in the PW pond, followed by the PNW pond and the lowest in the NN pond. Survival and biomass addition were not significantly different (P>0.05).

Abstract

Teknologi nanobubble dapat digunakan pada kegiatan budidaya udang vaname dengan kepadatan tinggi. Pengangkutan selama 48 jam, oksigen terlarut perlakuan oksigen murni 9,99-11,39 mg/L, perlakuan nanobubble 20,71-22,65 mg/L. Salinitas tidak berubah dan masih dalam kondisi rentang layak bagi kehidupan benur. Salinitas pada akhir pengangkutan dengan teknologi nanobubble 32o/oo, perlakuan oksigen murni 32,7-33,3o/oo. Suhu air relatif tidak berubah dan masih dalam rentang layak bagi kehidupan benur, suhu 29,13-29,33°C. pH akhir media pengangkutan teknologi nanobubble yakni 7,15-7,66 dan perlakuan oksigen murni 6,97-7,41. Kandungan karbondioksida perlakuan oksigen murni terjadi kenaikan sebesar 13,05-16,51 mg/L, perlakuan nanobubble sebesar 10,78-11,31 mg/L. TAN relatif sama untuk semua perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 5,49 – 5,69 mg/L. Amonia perlakuan oksigen murni sebesar 0,03 sampai 0,09 mg/L, perlakuan nanobubble 0,05-0,15 mg/L. Nitrit perlakuan oksigen murni 0,02-0,05 mg/L. Nitrat konsentrasi nitrat terjadi kenaikan 11,07 sampai 13,97 mg/L.

Abstract

The success of tilapia farming is strongly influenced by the productivity it produces, but it often happens that the productivity of tilapia produced by farmers is very low. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that affect the productivity of tilapia and its effect on the farmers' profit. The parameters measured include stocking density (X1), feed protein content (X2), pond area (X3), length of maintenance (X4), productivity (Y), and profit (Z). There were 40 respondents from Selomerto Sub-district, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java Province. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 22 and pathway analysis. The results of the study indicate that X1, X3, and X4 have a significant effect on Y, while X2 has no effect on Y. Furthermore, X3 and Y have a significant effect on Z, while X1, X2, and X4 have no effect on Z. X1, through Y, has an effect on Z, while X2, X3, and X4, through Y, have no effect on Z. The research data is expected to provide meaningful information to various parties in improving the success of tilapia farming activities carried out by farmers.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor padat tebar, luas kolam, kadar protein, dosis pakan dan pertumbuhan sangat mempengaruhi produktivitas ikan nila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenali berbagai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas ikan nila di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan responden 30 orang pembudidaya ikan nila. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara langsung kepada responden. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis regresi dengan model analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) padat tebar , kadar protein , dan dosis pakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila, sedangkan luas kolam tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila. (2) padat tebar dan kadar protein berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas ikan nila, sedangkan luas kolam , dosis pakan , dan pertumbuhan tidak signifikan terhadap produktivitas. (3) luas kolam melalui pertumbuhan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kolam. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pembudidaya ikan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan nila dan produktivitas kolam melalui peningkatan padat tebar, penggunaan pakan yang berkualitas dan dosis pakan yang optimum.
