Abstract

Walisongo or Walisanga is known as a propagator of Islam in Java in the 14th century. They live in three important areas, namely the north coast of Java Island, namely Surabaya, Gresik, Lamongan and Tuban in East Java, then Demak, Kudus, and Muria in Central Java, then Cirebon in West Java.

Abstract

Riset Pemberdayaan ini bertujuan untuk mencapai visi misi pondok pesantren dan mengembalikan peran pesantren dalam melahirkan sumberdaya manusia yang berkualitas yaitu: 1). terwujudnya santri yang terampil, mandiri dan memiliki jiwa wirausaha khususnya dalam bidang ekonomi kreatif, 2). terwujudnya santri yang kreatif dalam memanfaatkan potensi lokal di lingkungan pondok pesantren, dan 3). meningkatkan sumber daya di pondok pesantren Darul Amin Hidayatullah kotagajah. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan strategi participatory action research (PAR) dengan bentuk kegiatan pelatihan, pemberdayaan dan pendampingan. Metode ini di gunakan terutama pada FGD tim pengabdian dan mitra pada Juni 2022. Hasil kegiatan riset ini yaitu: Pertama, melakukan komunikasi dengan pengurus pondok Darul Amin Hidayatullah Kotagajah dan mengajukan surat permohonan untuk menjadi mitra. Kedua, pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan cara: kordinasi dan komunikasi dengan petani untuk menentukan program mulai perencanaan, oprasional dan evaluasi pemberian materi, serta melakukan pelatihan dengan mempraktikan langsung.

Abstract

The mission of national education is to educate and shape the generation that has a good personality characteristic. This research was conducted in order to support the success of achieving above mission by investigating the influence of religious activities in the school and family environment in shaping the Islamic character of students. Muhammadiyah 2 Junior High School of Yogyakarta provides character and religious education with the programs integrated with learning inside and outside the classroom such as Tahsin Al-Quran, Tahfizh Al-Quran, and so forth. The implementations of religious activities are expected to influence the students’ religious experiences to become the expected character.

Abstract

The success of Islamic religious learning is based on achievements that are prioritizing character-building aspects, conscience, and concern for social phenomena in society. In order to achieve them, teachers must emphasize the students' learning motivation and engagement in the learning process by employing a humanist approach to learning. One of these approaches was initiated by Abraham Maslow in the form of a motivation theory or a theory centered on meeting student needs. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Abraham Maslow's motivation theory in Islamic religious learning. This qualitative study employed field research which collected data from direct interviews with Islamic religious teachers and seventh-grade students, and essential data relating to the variables studied from observation and documentation. The analysis used in this research was the phenomenology approach and the text related to it. Based on the findings, it was stated that the implementation of Abraham Maslow's motivation theory has been fully implemented. These needs were the fulfillment of physiological needs; fulfillment of security needs, love and affection needs, social needs, and self-actualization needs. By fulfilling these needs, students not only acquire good learning outcomes but also can develop their potential in other fields well.
