Abstract

AbstrractCubic spline interpolation is a very popular curve fitting method since it is easy to implement and produces a smooth curve. This article discusses the development of the cubic spline interpolation method for a clamped boundary condition taken from finite-difference explicit formulas with higher-order accuracy. The development of this method is applied to an object tracking problem. In particular, this problem is examined for second-order clamped cubic spline, and the interpolated results are compared with those for natural and first-order clamped cubic splines. From the simulation of trajectory data generated from the Archimedean spiral curve, the total error values for natural, first-order, and second-order clamped cubic splines are respectively ,  and . Based on these results, it is concluded that the second-order clamped cubic spline interpolation developed in this article can produce a more accurate object trajectory than the natural and first-order clamped cubic splines.

Abstract

The machine frame is an important element that cannot be separated in a machine design and manufacture. The frame has a function as a foundation and support that supports a machine. There are still many workshops that use the manual method for the steel bending process. The process of making the bending roll machine frame is carried out through several stages such as data collection, preparation of frame tools and materials, frame manufacturing process, frame testing. And by conducting testing using Autodesk Inventor software, and manual calculations, the results of making a bending roll machine frame are said to be safe to use.

Abstract

Maggot black solder fly (maggot black solder fly) is the larvae of the black solder fly, many are found in various tropical countries, especially in Indonesia. On average, people in Indonesia dispose of food waste about 300 Kg every year, the amount of food waste is a problem that must be addressed. resolved Utilizing organic waste as a feed medium for black solder fly maggots is one way of processing and utilizing organic waste. The main driver of this machine is an electric motor. Power is transmitted through the pulley and the V- belt to the gearbox and then shaft to generate rotation. Here the electric motor and belt-pulley transmission have an important role. Namely, the electric motor as the main driver and the belt-pulley act as the power transmission system, which is where the selection of a V-bel for transmisi power has the advantage of producing greater power at a relative low voltage. So on this occasion the author designed a V-belt transmission, the pulley-shaft that is right for the black army fly maggot dryer.

Abstract

In the process of harvesting rice, farmers take rice grains or grain to dry. For small-scale farmers, grain drying is done manually with the help of solar heat. It is not effective because it depends on weather conditions. Rice grain drying machines on the market are generally for large capacities. This machine is not suitable for small scale farmers. Based on this background, a rice grain drying machine was designed for small production scale farmers. The limitations of this study only discuss the construction of the engine frame. The stages of the research carried out are; determine the initial specifications of the rice grain drying machine, make a design and test the design of the machine frame using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017, manufacture the frame of the rice grain drying machine.

Abstract

The Cireundeu indigenous village community is one of the Sundanese ethnic communities located and settled in Leuwigajah Village, South Cimahi District, Cimahi City. The Cireundeu village indigenous community is a society that is obedient in carrying out ancestral mandates. One of the behaviors passed down by the ancestors of the Cireundeu Village Indigenous Community to the residents as the next generation is the habit of consuming rasi (cassava pulp rice) as a staple. This research aims to provide an overview of the life of the Cireundeu Indigenous Village Community in a cultural perspective. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and literature study techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Cirendeu Traditional Village Community has a rich culture and a strong social system. This encompasses a variety of aspects, including living equipment, livelihoods, kinship systems, languages, arts, knowledge, and religion. While the indigenous people of Cirendeu Village uphold the customs passed down by their ancestors, in terms of life, the Cireundeu indigenous people are also not much different from ordinary people. They carry out social life, socialize, and even attend school.
