Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat suatu mesin penetas telur dengan kapasitas 60 butir. Mesin dibagi menjadi 3 bagian utama yaitu; bagian rangka, bagian program dan bagian kelistrikan. Pada tahap perancangan rangka yaitu menggunakan software Solidworks. Material rangka yang digunakan yaitu baja siku berdimensi 30 x 30 x 3 mm. Proses pembuatan bagian rangka melibatkan proses pemotongan dan pengelasan. Pada bagian program, perancangan program bertujuan untuk mengatur kondisi kerja di dalam mesin. Adapun parameter-parameter yang diatur diantaranya; suhu, kelembaban dan pergerakan telur di dalam mesin. Alat-alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu sensor DHT 11 yang digunakan untuk mengukur suhu dan kelembaban, juga RTC DS 3231 yang digunakan untuk mengukur waktu. Program menggunakan bahasa pemrograman C dan menggunakan software Arduino IDE. Penggunaan arus listrik yang diperlukan berdasarkan hasil pengujian yaitu; mesin membutuhkan daya standby 29 watt atau memerlukan konsumsi energi sebesar 14,616 kWh dalam 21 hari.

Abstract

Coconut is one of the resources that has high economic value in various industries. Although it has many benefits, the coconut grating process is still often done manually, resulting in low production capacity and taking a long time. With the rapid development of technology, the coconut grating machine is the result of technology to crush coconut meat into small grains. In this design, the coconut grating machine uses a 113 CC Jupiter Z1 motor equipped with adjustable speed variations. Therefore, this design aims to analyze the effect of variations in knife rotation speed on the coconut grating machine on time efficiency in the coconut grating process, and design a coconut grating machine equipped with variations in knife rotation speed. The making of this coconut grating machine is intended to be more efficient and is expected to increase the productivity of coconut grating as needed.

Abstract

AbstractIn designing an environmentally friendly waste incineration device, it is important to consider the product life cycle comprehensively. This includes selecting environmentally friendly construction materials, such as recycled or biodegradable materials, as well as designing for ease of maintenance and upkeep to extend the lifespan of the device. Additionally, modular and adaptable design can allow for adaptation to different local needs and conditions. Environmentally friendly waste incineration device design should consider technical and practical concepts that can reduce negative impacts on the environment and human health. One key aspect is combustion efficiency, which can be achieved through the selection of advanced combustion technologies and proper control of temperature and airflow. Furthermore, reducing pollutant emissions such as hazardous particles, greenhouse gases, and toxic compounds should be a primary focus. This can be accomplished using effective exhaust gas filtration and purification technologies. In designing this device, it is important to consider social and economic aspects, including technology availability and accessibility, as well as operational and maintenance costs.Keyword : Incinerator, Wate Incinerator, Environmentally Friendly.

Abstract

Proyek ini mengatasi masalah diagnosis kompresor yang benar untuk sistem pendingin udara dan pendingin. Tujuannya adalah menggunakan instrumentasi yang tersedia di pasar global untuk menciptakan solusi diagnostik berbiaya rendah, mudah diakses, dan mudah dirakit untuk semua jenis pengguna. Dalam artikel ini, kami mengusulkan penggunaan mikrokontroller ESP32 yang kompatibel dengan bahasa Arduino, yang terhubung ke Microsoft Azure. Selain itu, kami memperkenalkan algoritme berdasarkan tren yang memberikan pengetahuan real-time kepada pengguna tingkat dasar dan lanjutan tentang variabel yang relevan dan mendeteksi kegagalan dalam proses refrigeration. Hal ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengantisipasi dan mencegah kegagalan melalui skema pemeliharaan berbasis kondisi yang ditingkatkan. Solusi yang diusulkan bertujuan untuk mengurangi kesalahan diagnosis, meminimalkan waktu henti sistem, dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kontrol suku cadang, dan pelestarian produk. Selain itu, untuk memperluas jangkauan solusi ini, perangkat ini dapat digunakan sebagai input data sistem guna menghasilkan informasi berharga untuk neural network berulang. Jaringan ini tidak hanya dapat mendiagnosis kompresor tetapi juga keseluruhan sistem, dengan mempertimbangkan dua variabel penting: koefisien kinerja dan aliran massa

Abstract

In making this 3 Dimensional CNC Printer machine, the design and construction process is divided into several main parts. The main parts include; design for the mechanical part, design for the frame part, design for the control and calibration system. In the mechanical section, the motor type is selected and the transmission system is designed. The type of motor used is the Stepper Motor Type 17210 G Shinano Kenshi with specifications; angular movement of 1.8 degrees/pulse with a current of 1 A, voltage of 2.6 VDC, resistance of 1.5 Ohm/phase, inductance of 2.8 mH/phase and holding torque of 0.3 Nm. For transmission, it uses a pulley and belt transmission type. The frame uses Tslot 2040, Vslot 2020 and Aluminum Composite materials for the engine mount. In the control and calibration section, this 3 Dimensional CNC Printer machine uses an Arduino Mega 2560. In mechanical testing, movement trials were carried out in the x, y and z axes. The test results show that the movement is as expected. For the x-axis movement, it is 60 mm, the y-axis is 80 mm and the z-axis is 100 mm.

Abstract

Along with population growth, diverse preferences and lifestyles, fluctuating prices, and increasing consumer financial capabilities, the need for animal protein-based foods such as meat has also increased. Increasing public awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition, population growth, and increasing financial capabilities of the community are factors that cause an increase in the desire to consume beef. Given the increasing need for meat and bones with relatively high community needs, special equipment is needed, namely a bone cutting machine, to help cut bones quickly. To make this machine, data was collected through observation and literature studies. The author used Solidwork 2020 to make the shaft of this bone cutting machine, then performed calculations manually. Based on the results of the shaft design, the torsional moment on the drive shaft was calculated as 13045 kg, the permissible shear stress was 4.1 kg/mm2, the main shaft diameter was 24 mm, the shear stress was 4.81 kg/mm2, the shaft length was 260 mm, and the torsional deflection was 0.72°. The results of the functional test of the bone cutting machine shaft can run according to plan. The results can be used as a teaching tool for mechanical engineering students, and the design of the cutting knife can be improved so that it can be used optimally and benefit society.

Abstract

The development of sugar palm plants in Indonesia is very prospective. Can increase farmers' income from sugar palm farming, as well as preserving natural resources and the environment. The application of post-harvest technology for palm fruit that is not yet optimal causes the production of palm fruit to be very low. So researchers are interested in designing a tool for processing kolang kaling. The general aim of this research is to design a fruit processing machine for kolang kaling fruit. The specific aim of this research is to analyze, design and build flatteners for kolang kaling machines. This research method uses the experimental method with a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, while the data analysis technique used uses quantitative techniques. The measurement results show that the length of time for peeling, flattening and separating palm seeds required by the designed machine is faster than manually. The time required by the machine designed to peel 10 kg of palm fruit is an average of 38.6 seconds, while the manual requires 470 seconds. After stripping, the flattening process is carried out. The results obtained in one rotation of the flattening shaft are that it can flatten 180 palm fronds in a time of 2 seconds. In conclusion, the designed palm fruit flattening machine can flatten palm fruit without taking a long time. The time required to peel palm fruit using a designed machine is more effective than the manual method.

Abstract

The Cantilever structure is a structure that is commonly found in general. This structure usually consists of a beam that is supported or fixed at one end, while the other end of the material used as a Cantilever beam works openly (without support) and has a specific load at its end. When a load is applied to the open side, the supported end will experience a moment that varies in value depending on the applied load. This type of structure is widely used, generally in the installation of CCTV in open areas and in street lighting. Based on this background, the author aims to conduct research related to the planned material strength, namely carbon pipes. In addition, the research is conducted to minimize excessive expenditures, meaning that the goal is to design something that is useful, affordable, and has good durability or resilience in its operation. In this study, the method used is data collection through literature studies, interviews, or direct observations of the positions of the poles that have been installed along the passed roads. The result of this research is a robust yet inexpensive single cantilever structure, thus it can be concluded that a good, strong, and load-resistant structure does not always have to be made at a high cost.

Abstract

The machine frame is an important element that cannot be separated in a machine design and manufacture. The frame has a function as a foundation and support that supports a machine. There are still many workshops that use the manual method for the steel bending process. The process of making the bending roll machine frame is carried out through several stages such as data collection, preparation of frame tools and materials, frame manufacturing process, frame testing. And by conducting testing using Autodesk Inventor software, and manual calculations, the results of making a bending roll machine frame are said to be safe to use.

Abstract

Corn is a superior commodity owned by Indonesia. Apart from being a staple food, corn kernels are also used as chicken feed by grinding them using a grinding machine. But the processing of corn as animal feed is still relatively expensive. Breeders usually process corn to the mill because they don't have a grinding machine. Meanwhile, buying a grinding machine is not cheap. So to increase productivity and effectiveness in the livestock sector, it is necessary to develop technology or tools in this field. One of the technological developments that can be applied to this sector is the use of grinding machines for corn kernels. We made this machine with the aim of increasing efficiency and saving on animal feed costs. The design of this machine is carried out through the process of designing, selecting and calculating components, the stages of making and assembling the whole, as well as testing the machine. The machine was designed using Autodesk Inventor software to help design the whole. The control and electrical systems are designed using the Simurelay application. This machine has specifications of 250 watt motor power, 712 RPM rotation and 3.29 Nm torque which is capable of grinding dry corn kernels up to 30 kg/hour.
