Abstract

The involvement of innovative tourism technology in life, especially in tourism activities, plays a vital role in the process. Tourists use smart tourism technology devices to determine the destinations they want to visit. In line with this, tourists who utilize innovative tourism technology will have an impressive travel experience. All experiences tourists gain will later be expressed in images to immortalize their journey or positive comments or comments on innovative tourism technology media. These positive reviews indicate tourist satisfaction, where tourists get more results than expected. Tourists' satisfaction with innovative tourism technology and impressive experiences opens up opportunities for them to consistently use smart tourism technology devices and become more in-depth with information about areas they want to revisit or visit. This research aims to determine the influence of intelligent tourism technology and memorable tourism experiences on tourist loyalty, which is mediated by tourist satisfaction. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach through questionnaire instruments. The number of respondents used as data sources was 200 using the Probability Sample technique. This research uses Exploratory (Correlational Study), which aims to investigate a phenomenon that occurs or has yet to be explained well before. Data processing in this research used SEM PLS 4.0. The research results show that Smart Tourism Technology has yet to be proven to influence Tourist Satisfaction significantly. Abstract

Lake Toba, is one of the tourist destinations currently being developed into a leading destination in the North of Sumatera, Indonesia. With the cultural diversity of the Batak Tribe and its rich history, Lake Toba has become a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists. One of the key concepts implemented in this destination is the application of digital technology, such as online payment, online information, and online booking and reservation systems. This study analyses the impact of technology utilization on the well-being of tourists visiting Lake Toba. Focusing on smart tourism technology, this research explores the relationship between digital usage experience, memorable tourism experiences, revisit, and tourist recommendations. Data were collected through surveys of tourists who had visited Lake Toba. A quantitative analysis method was used to examine the relationships between variables. The results show that using smart tourism technology significantly enhances the tourist experience, positively affecting their intention to revisit and recommend the destination to others. Memorable tourism experiences also play a key role in improving the overall well-being of tourists. This research contributes to developing technology-based tourism strategies to enhance tourist satisfaction which will lead to revisit and recommendations, ultimately influencing tourist behavior.

Abstract

The impact of operational risk management on visitors' memorable experiences, intention to return, and intention to refer Batulayang Tourism Village is investigated in this study.  The study tackles the important topic of how poorly managed operational risks, like subpar amenities and safety issues, impact visitor loyalty and pleasure.  Effective risk management is crucial for preserving satisfying experiences and encouraging return visits in Indonesia's tourism industry, which is becoming more and more competitive.  Research on operational risk management in rural tourism communities like Batulayang is still scarce, leaving a gap in our knowledge of its precise effects on rural destinations. Prior studies have concentrated on more general tourism contexts. This study is innovative because it uses a mixed-method approach to provide deeper insights into how risk management might enhance visitors' experiences and affect their future behavior. It focuses on operational risk management in rural tourism settings.  In order to provide useful advice for tourist managers, the study aims to investigate how operational risk management affects visitors' intentions to return and promote the town.  In order to support the sustainable growth of rural tourism in Indonesia, it is anticipated that the findings will assist tourism stakeholders in raising service quality, improving visitor happiness, and boosting industry competitiveness.
