Latar belakang : American Library Association (ALA) menyatakan bahwa seseorang memiliki keterampilan literasi informasi jika orang tersebut menyadari kapan memerlukan informasi dan mempunyai kemampuan untuk menemukan, mengevaluasi dan menggunakan secara efektif informasi tersebut. (ACRL. 2010) Di Indonesia istilah dokumentasi sering digunakan dalam arti yang sering berbeda dengan pengertian dokumentasi yang berlaku dalam dunia pengolahan informasi. (Djajuliyanto. 1990) Kemampuan literasi informasi akan membuat masyarakat menggunakan TI serta mendokumentasikan informasi dengan efektif dan relevan dengan kebutuhannya. Tujuan:Tujuan Kegiatan adalah memberdayakan masyarakat dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis dalam mengakses serta menggunakan informasi secara efektif. Hal ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan perubahan positif dalam kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan memahami informasi di antara penduduk desa melalui dokumentasi informasi. Metode:Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melalui pelatihan dan advokasi. Hasil:Kegiatan pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dijadikan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan literasi melalui dokumentasi informasi di Desa Demangrejo telah memberikan hassil yang signifikan. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Sumber Daya Manusia pengelola Perpustakaan serta peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam aktivitas literasi menunjukkan keberhasilan program ini dalam mencapai tujuannya.

Abstract Libraries as one of the centers and providers of information for the community, along with the current development of technological and information advances, libraries must also be able to adapt to existing advances. The National Library of the Republic of Indonesia as the main library in Indonesia has promoted the transformation of library services based on social inclusion. The Village Library is a type of public library as a center that provides information for all communities fairly for learning and lifelong activities. The public can be directly involved in library activities. However, the Demangrejo village library is currently unable to provide innovation services for its community, so the library is still empty of visitors. Therefore, outreach activities are needed regarding the Transformation of Library Services Based on Social Inclusion. The aim of this community service is to improve excellent library services, increase user visits and the community's reading and writing culture and improve the community's economic welfare. The methods used in this outreach activity are material development, questions and answers and implementation of outreach and evaluation. The results of the outreach activities showed that participants already knew and understood the transformation of library services based on social inclusion. In this way, community service activities through counseling provide benefits for village libraries and their managers because they can increase new knowledge and in-depth understanding of social inclusion-based library services. This paper discusses strategic approaches to the preservation of rare collections in the era of Industry 4.0, with a focus on the Library and Museum Sonobudoyo in Yogyakarta. The study employed a qualitative approach using data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the institution has established a written policy on rare collection preservation, structured in the form of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The preservation strategies implemented include: (1) environmental and storage space management supported by Internet of Things (IoT) technology; (2) disaster preparedness systems, including the provision of fire extinguishers (APAR) and the formation of emergency response teams; (3) information preservation through the digitalization of the intellectual content of collections; and (4) cross-sector collaboration and large-scale technological implementation, such as mass deduplication and digitalization. These efforts demonstrate an integration of physical conservation and digital transformation to ensure sustainable access to rare collections amid technologicaladvancements. In conclusion, the preservation of rare collections has been carried out through adaptive, technology-based approaches. These efforts contribute to the sustainability of cultural heritage in the digital era. It is recommended that human resource development and routine evaluation be continuously conducted to maintain the effectiveness of the implemented strategies.

Introduction. This article aims to literacy of the indigenous community of Sengeti village in passing the indigenous values of Jambi Malay culture. The purpose of this research is to know how the community ability Sengeti Village in accessing, evaluating, and using and communicating information Tradition Seloko. Data Collection Method. The research method used in this research is descriptive in the form of a case study which aims to explain the literacy of the traditional seloko adat of the Sengeti Village community. The technique used in this research is qualitative, while the approach is in phenomenology Data Analysis. Qualitative analysis in communication research departs from a phenomenological approach, on the grounds that phenomenological analysis is more appropriately used to parse the problems of human subjects who are generally disobedient, changeable and so on. Result and Discussion. This result of research has depicted that; firstly, community ability Sengeti Village in accessing information this is optimally, it can be seen from the findings in the field that the community is able to define the information needs and understand the meaning of Tradition Seloko. Secondly, Then the ability to evaluate information not yet optimal can be seen from sub components of assessment and information settings, they rarely do information analysis, which is more dominant is done check and filter information. Thirdly, The community ability of Sengeti village to use and disseminate information could have been optimal. It can be seen they are using it as personal knowledge and spreading it as a frie nd and the person who is deemed to need information about Tradition Seloko. Conclusions. Activities to access information are carried out by participating in the traditional seloko training, asking people who know more about traditional seloko, looking for information on the internet. Information is evaluated by analyzing information, checking information, and filtering in search of the information needed. Information is used by applying the information obtained to life, making videos, articles, and YouTube vlogs that contain information about Seloko Adat for promotional needs and information sharing. From these activities, it is hoped that the community will be more careful in evaluating information and need the involvement of the younger generation to participate in preserving the traditional seloko.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the process of procurement of library materials at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used is library research methodologically classified as qualitative research with a descriptive approach in the form of a case study which aims to explain the procurement of library materials at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency. Data collection techniques used were through observation and interviews. The findings of the study are (1) the Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency has carried out library material procurement activities through purchases from book agents, bookstores, gifts, entrances and through assistance once a year. (2) The Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency has never procured serial publications, as well as non-book materials (recorded works) because according to them library materials are rarely needed by users. (3) The procurement of library funds for library materials is not running properly as seen from the constraints that occur, namely the lack of spending funds for the procurement of library materials both from series published library materials and recorded library materials, as well as the lack of attention from leaders leading to the procurement of library materials so that the available collections incomplete, not up to date and not used by the user. From these findings, it is hoped that the Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency will continue to procure collections of serial publications and recorded works because these collections can increase the number of collections available, create public interest in reading and add to the repertoire of library collections. Furthermore, the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency should process funds properly by paying attention to user needs so that library materials purchased are in accordance with user education. Then also the head of the library must pay more attention that leads to the procurement of library materials so that the available collections can be more up to date, complete, and can be used by users. Artikel ini menganalisis kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Perpustakaan dan Sains informasi UIM Yogyakarta dalam Penelusuran Informasi dengan menggunakan model The Big Six. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian berjumlah 7 orang, kriteria pemilihan informan menggunakan Teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil temuan dengan menggunakan Model The Big Six yaitu: (1) Perumusan masalah: mahasiswa mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, membuat kata kunci dan menggunakan trik Boolean (and, or,not). (2) Strategi Pencarian Informasi yang dilakukan memilih sumber relevan (fisik/digital). (3) Lokasi dan akses: mahasiswa terampil dalam menemukan dan mengakses sumber informasi melalui OPAC, e-resources, koleksi fisik, maupun platform digital Perpustakaan. (4) Pemanfaatan Informasi: tercetak maupun digital yang telah baca secara efektif dengan Teknik skimming atau scanning. (5) Sintesis: mahasiswa menyajikan informasi dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah. (6) Evaluasi:Mahasiswa mampu menilai akurasi, reliabilitas, relevansi tulisan dan keandalan sumber. Kesimpulan, Mahasiswa telah menunjukkan kemampuan literasi informasi yang memadai dan efektif dalam konteks penelusuran informasi di perpustakaan. Disarankan, untuk mengikuti program pelatihan literasi informasi yang diadakan oleh Perpusnas, guna memperbaharui pengetahuan tentang alat penelusuran dan Teknik manajemen referensi terbaru.
