Abstract

Background: Teenagers cannot survive without gadgets. Teenagers today are a generatbehavior in adolescents due to the use of gadgets is an urgent problem, this is caused because ion that cannot survive without gadgets, laptops, and cell phones for a minute. The use of gadgets causes dependence, one of the impacts that arise is violent behavior through social media. Gadget dependence in adolescence is a small part of the population, but has a very large contribution. This study aims to look at the characteristics of adolescents as gadget users, duration of use, applications that are widely used and the distribution of mental health of teenagers who use gadgets. Methods: This study uses a quantitative design. The research was conducted in West Sumatra. Children are given a questionnaire and fill out related to how the individual's mental response in using gadgets. The data were then analyzed using descriptive methods. Results: This study resulted in 273 respondents, 3.7% of respondents experienced delays in completing activities according to plan, 11.4% of respondents experienced a lack of concentration in learning, 20.2% of respondents experienced feelings of emptiness without gadgets, 11% experienced feelings of dependence on friends at school. virtual world than friends in the real world, 17.2 states that they never miss the latest news through gadgets, 10.6% of respondents feel angry when they are cannot used gadgets. Conclusion: This research shows that teenagers experience a variety of responses that they cannot control. Therefore, it is very important for families to set limits on the use of gadgets by limiting the duration of gadget use, increasing physical activity and returning children to the real world.

Abstract

Background: Diabetic diet management can be done by the family because the family is the main assistance in carrying out dietary compliance. Purpose:The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between family support toward  Diet Compliance Of Diabetes Mellitus Type II Patients in Semerap Community Health Center, Kerinci Distict, 2020. Methods:The Type of this research was quantitative research. With Cross Sectional approach. Purposive sampling Had been  used to select the samples.. Then, it was analyzed by Statistical test with Chi-square. Result:The results showed that from 50 respondents, 16 (76.2%) respondents did not obedient and received less family support related to the diet. 21(72.4%) respondents obeyed a good diet and received good family support toward in their diet. Conclusion: The results of statistical thes showed that the p-value was 0.002 . It means that there was a significant  realationship between family suppport and dietary adherence to type II Diabetes Mellitus Patien. Last, it is Suggested to diabetes mellitus patients type II to set the right amount of diet in the implementation of dietary compliance. Furthermore, families are expected to be able to better understand and participante in providing family support (emotional support) to patien suffering from diabetes mellitus.Keywords: Family Support, Diet Compliance, Diabetes Mellitus tipe- II

Abstract

Background: The incidence of hypertension will continue to increase as a person's age increases and reaches a peak at the age of over 65 years with a figure of 65%. The purpose of the study was to determine the self-management of hypertension in the elderly at Pstw Kasih Sayang Ibu in Batusangkar. Methods: This research is quantitative with descriptive research design. The population in this study were all the elderly at PSTW Kasih Sayang Ibu Batu Sangkar with hypertension as many as 60 people. The research was conducted in January-June 2022 . The sample of this study were 60 elderly people. Sampling with total sampling, data were analyzed univariately. Results: The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the elderly had good hypertension management (73.3 %), hypertension treatment was good (75%), did not do good hypertension prevention (56.7%) and experienced development and complications. good hypertension (78.3%). Conclusion: So, the problem is that most of the elderly do prevention of hypertension which is not good , namely as many as 34 (56.7%) elderly. It is expected for the elderly to make efforts to prevent hypertension even better. The elderly are also required to reduce salt consumption and the use of salt in food, reduce caffeine consumption and reduce the frequency of smoking.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Health problems that are often found and spread throughout the world, one of which is Gout Arthritis or what we know as Gout. When uric acid levels get higher and pass normal levels, the uric acid will gradually settle and crystallize. Sedimentation This causes the joint to become inflamed which is marked by signs and symptoms such as pain, swelling, and redness in the joints. Methods: In the implementation, complementary therapy was applied to gouty arthritis patients, namely warm ginger compresses and bay leaf water decoction.. Results: Significant results on the pain scale and changes in uric acid levels were before the intervention scale of pain 8 with uric acid levels of 8.7 mg / dl and after the intervention scale of pain 2 with uric acid levels of 7.8 mg / dl. Concluion: The application of complementary therapy of warm ginger compresses and bay leaf decoction which was done showed improvement in patients suffering from gout. Therefore, the application of evidence-based nursing can be recommended in providing nursing care.Keywords       : Complementary, Family, Gout Athritis

Abstract

Background: Cupping is a recommended treatment and is a legacy of the great prophet Muhammad SAW, an ancient cupping treatment that still exists today, and its efficacy has been scientifically proven. And critical success at this point lies in negative pressure. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out this research to look at other phenomena of secondary effects due to negative pressure. Methods: Research with a descriptive analytical approach with a sample size of 200 people, data collection using purposive sampling, data processing, percentage frequency distribution (%). Results: The research results found that from 200 samples, 24 people reported itching on the cupping marks immediately after the cupping was done until the cupping marks disappeared. and no other secondary effects were found such as pain, blisters, stinging, chills and dizziness. Conclusion: It is recommended that health workers who perform cupping use herbal oils which can reduce post-cupping histamine reactions to maintain patient comfort.

Abstract

Background: Improving the degree of health is mandatory as a human effort in business, in healthy life activities and illness are the determinants of achievement, when sick, treatment and care efforts have become a benchmark for activities, as well as health must be maintained in order to stay healthy and able to take active and passive prevention in order to achieve optimal health. In maintaining health, it can be done in a modern or traditional way, one of the traditional treatments is Cupping which has become a recommendation from the Prophet Muhammad, SAW. Methods: However, not many people are ready for this bekan action, so a study was conducted to determine the client's first experience of cupping therapy with a qualitative descriptive phenomenological approach with 13 participants, collecting data by interview and observation, and processing data analysis using Hubberman. Results: The results of the study were found to be traumatic invasive procedures, psychological responses, striving for health, which became the theme of the research results. Conclusion: It is recommended for health workers to provide education to the public that cupping can be used as an alternative therapy in improving health status with safe procedures and will not cause traumatic invasive procedures, so it is safe and comfortable to use.

Abstract

Background: Community health deficiencies are a refusing health condition in a community. One of them is increasing chronic blood pressure in the long term (140/90 mmhg). Pakan Kamis Community Health Center had the highest hypertension data. There were 3796 cases found in 2017 and in Jorong Sonsang 49 people did not eat regular medication (98.1%). Therefore, hypertension is a healthy Indonesia Program with a family approach since 2017. This study aimed to determine An Analysis of Community Health Deficiency in Hypertension Groups in Pakan Kamis Community Health Center. Methods: The research was qualitative research with the phenomenology approach. It was conducted in Pakan Kamis Community Health Center on December to January 2019. Purposive Sampling had been used to choose the samples. The informants were 30 health workers (9 people and 21 people with hypertension groups). The data were collected through depth interviews, observation and document review. Then, it was processed and analyzed by using Huberman. The data had been reduced, presented, drawn the conclusions and also explained in narrative form. The technique of checking the validity of qualitative data by using a credibility test was by source triangulation. Result: The research results are obtained from the input aspects of performance barriers, management function processes, genetic processes, behavior, lifestyle, environment, family support. Conclusion: it can be concluded that community health efficiency was caused by several factors. It is expected that the Head of the Community Health Center and the program holder to improve their existing human resources.Keywords: Community Health Deficiencies, Hypertension

Abstract

Cupping is one part of Complementary And Alternative Therapy (CAT) therapy . The benefits of cupping therapy are claimed to maintain health by removing toxins from the body, but scars are at risk of infection if not done properly . The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of cupping wound healing after 3 days of treatment. This study is quantitative with a descriptive research design . The population in this study were cupping patients aged 18-26 years, with a sample size of 200 people, sampling by purposive sampling , this study used a research instrument for measuring secondary wound healing issued by the Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC), data were analyzed univariately. The results of the univariate analysis showed that all 100% of patients who underwent cupping therapy had a good wound healing process, none of whom were found to have wound infections after 3 days after wet cupping. It is expected that every nurse who performs cupping therapy will continue to pay attention to standard operating procedures (SOP), sterile principles and disinfectant areas of the injection.
