Abstract

This study examines the impact of promotion and service quality on customer interest, utilizing a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, focusing on variables of promotion, service quality, and customer interest. The research employed validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial (t) and simultaneous (F) tests, and the coefficient of determination (R-Square) to analyze the data. The results show that both promotion and service quality have a significant positive effect on customer interest, with an R-square value of 0.930, indicating that 93% of customer interest is influenced by these two variables. The study concludes that improving promotional strategies and service quality can significantly enhance customer interest, although further research is needed to explore other factors influencing customer behavior.

Abstract

Public speaking is vital for young entrepreneurs to express ideas confidently and clearly. However, many students lack this ability due to limited access to practical training. This program aimed to improve the communication skills of student organization members through practice-based public speaking training. The two-day training was held at the Nahdlatul Ulama Hall in Bekasi City and involved 30 Indonesian Islamic Student Movement participants. The method included lectures, discussions, and business presentation simulations. Evaluation results significantly improved confidence, message structure, and vocal techniques. Participants also expressed greater interest in developing their business ideas. The activity demonstrated that contextual and hands-on training effectively enhances students' communication skills. This program has strong potential to be replicated as a model for empowering youth organizations in developing community-based young entrepreneurs.
