Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly impacted productivity, enabling tasks to be completed more efficiently. In government and public service institutions, utilizing information technology is essential, as it has proven to enhance the quality of services, making them more responsive, effective, efficient, and accountable. According to Law Number 25, Article 1, Paragraph 1 of 2009, public service is defined as activities or a series of activities aimed at fulfilling service needs based on regulations, for every citizen and resident, concerning goods, services, and/or administrative assistance provided by public service providers. Implementing electronic services accelerates the development of e-Government. Public services at the village administration level play a crucial role in delivering quality service to the community. Unfortunately, public services at the 35 Ilir Village have received numerous complaints from the local community. This issue arises because the administrative document submission system is still handled manually, requiring each document to be printed and filed manually.

Abstract

Conventional hand dryers often rely on manual buttons or simple infrared sensors, which can pose risks of germ transmission and limitations in responsiveness and detection accuracy. This paper proposes an innovative solution by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology to develop an automated hand dryer connected online using an ESP32 microcontroller. IoT technology enables remote control and real-time monitoring, enhancing cleanliness and health by reducing direct contact with the device's surface. The study includes testing proximity sensors, thermocouples, and moisture sensors to ensure optimal performance. Proximity sensors demonstrate good responsiveness within 0-5 cm, thermocouples effectively manage temperature, and moisture sensors provide appropriate audio feedback based on hand moisture conditions. The findings indicate that the IoT-integrated automated hand dryer not only improves usage efficiency but also significantly contributes to public hygiene and health, offering potential innovation in sanitation technology.Keywords: Automated Hand Dryer, Internet of Things (IoT), ESP32 Microcontroller, Proximity Sensor, Thermocouple Sensor, Moisture Sensor

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of various sensors and security systems based on environmental changes and access conditions. Power supply measurements show stability with an average voltage of 24.094 V and an error rate of 0.43%, which is within the 5% tolerance limit. The LDR sensor proved effective in detecting light changes with consistent resistance values in bright, dim, and dark conditions. The door sensor demonstrated reliability in responding to door condition changes with an average response time of 50 milliseconds. The RFID system efficiently processes registered and unregistered cards quickly, ensuring only authorized access. Overall, the security system is assessed to respond swiftly to potential threats, providing adequate protection.Keywords: Power supply, LDR sensor, Door sensor, RFID, Security system, Quick response

Abstract

Research and development in the paint industry continue to evolve along with market demands for innovative and high-quality paint products. This study focuses on the development of an automated microcontroller-based paint mixing device to enhance the efficiency and quality of products in the paint industry. The process of mixing basic paint materials, such as pigments, binders, and solvents, is often carried out manually, which is prone to inaccuracy and takes more time. The application of microcontrollers in paint mixing offers a more precise and automated solution, allowing better control over mixing consistency and parameters. Test results show that this device can produce accurate color mixing using the TCS3200 color sensor to detect RGB variations, as well as an ultrasonic sensor to detect the presence of objects during the mixing process. Abstract

Transformasi digital di sektor kesehatan menjadi kebutuhan utama untuk meningkatkan layanan mandiri pasien. Salah satu kendala utama yang ditemukan di Rumah Sakit Siloam Sriwijaya adalah antrean panjang di meja Customer Service hanya untuk menanyakan jadwal praktik dokter. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukan perancangan prototype fitur jadwal dokter berbasis mobile menggunakan metode prototyping. Proses ini dilakukan selama magang di bagian front office, dengan pendekatan observasi langsung dan analisis kebutuhan pengguna. Hasilnya berupa desain antarmuka digital yang menampilkan jadwal dokter berdasarkan jenis pasien (BPJS maupun umum/asuransi), serta integrasi dengan sistem reservasi mandiri. Rancangan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan, mengurangi beban kerja Customer Service, dan mendukung transformasi digital layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Sistem E-Raport digunakan sebagai sistem informasi yang dirancang oleh sekolah untuk melakukan penginformasian terhadap perkembangan siswa kepada orang tua, yang telah dilaksanakan hampir di seluruh sekolah negeri di indonesia. SDN 11 Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin adalah salah satu sekolah negeri di kabupaten banyuasin yang menggunakan sistem e-Raport sebagai media pengganti laporan hasil belajar siswa secara manual. Namun selama website di akses terdapat masalah pada sistem e-Raport seperti sistem yang sering mengalami maintenance atau kendala lain seperti jaringan yang gagal terhubung, lambat, kesulitan masuk pada server, tampilan yang masih kurang menarik, keterlambatan informasi, beberapa kesalahan teknis, ataupun human error. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kepuasan pengguna aplikasi e-raport di SDN 11 Sembawa. Oleh karena permasalahan yang mungkin terjadi tersebut maka perlunya di adakan sebuah evaluasi dengan menerapkan model metode UTAUT 2 yang terdiri dari Variabel berikut Performance Expectancy (Ekspektasi Kinerja), Effort Expectancy (Ekspektasi usaha), Social Influence (Pengaruh Sosial), Facilitating Conditions (Kondisi Pendukung), Hedonic Motivation (Motivasi hedonis), Price Value (nilai harga), dan Habit (Kebiasaan). Guna mendukung dalam melakukan evaluasi dalam penggunaan sistem informasi e-raport, perlu didukung sebuah metode-metode yang dapat melakukan evaluasi terhadap penerimaan sistem. Metode tersebut merupakan UTAUT 2. Maka berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan sebuah evaluasi terhadap sistem informasi e-raport yang ada pada SDN 11 Sembawa.

Abstract

— The cooling system of geothermal power plants (PLTP) critically depends on cooling towers, particularly the basin as the reservoir for cooled water to be recirculated into the system. Real-time monitoring of basin water temperature and weather conditions is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and prolonging equipment lifespan. Manual observation and wired systems are limited in terms of range and response time, prompting the need for a more advanced monitoring solution. This article describes the development and implementation of a LoRa-based monitoring  system that integrates temperature and weather sensors in the cooling tower basin of a geothermal power plant. The research was conducted through literature reviews, direct observation, consultations with experts, and comprehensive field testing of both hardware and software under various operational scenarios. The designed system consistently transmits temperature and weather sensor data with a success rate exceeding 95%, and achieves an effective transmission range of 400–500 meters in open geothermal areas. Implementation of this system results in increased data acquisition speed, improved energy efficiency, and enhanced monitoring accuracy, supporting faster technical responses and better risk management. Evaluation results confirm that the LoRa-based solution functions optimally and is highly applicable for deployment in challenging and remote geothermal industrial environments.

Abstract

Many Academic Information Systems (SIAKAD), including at Universitas Cahaya Bangsa, prioritize technical function over User Experience (UX), leading to significant pain points and low User Satisfaction. Key issues include the inefficient Course Registration System (KRS) flow (lack of automatic package enrollment) and minimal system feedback. This research aims to analyze and design a SIAKAD UX prototype to reduce daily administrative pain points and improve User Satisfaction using a Mixed Methods approach framed by User-Centered Design (UCD). The qualitative phase utilized in-depth interviews with five active users and subsequent user persona analysis to identify system pain points. The solution was implemented in a high-fidelity prototype (Figma), featuring the Automatic KRS Package Enrollment and a Real-time Notification Page. Quantitative evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 10 student respondents yielded a score of 88.0, categorized as Excellent. This strongly validates that the design, which focuses on flow efficiency and transparent feedback, successfully addresses the initial pain points. The study concludes that UCD is an effective strategic framework for boosting administrative efficiency and User Satisfaction within educational information systems
