Abstract

Learning media has an important role in the teaching and learning process, but in reality there are still many learning activities that do not utilize the media optimally. Based on the results of field research, it was found that Arabic language learning at MI Islamiyah Kedungmegaraih Kembangbahu Lamongan did not find interactive learning media and student learning outcomes in mastering Arabic vocabulary were still low. This study aims to develop a power point learning media on vocabulary material and to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed power point learning media. This study was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method which adopted the development of Borg & Gall. The instrument for data collection used questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the development of interactive media based on power point includes three main things, namely: media, material and language. in aspects: 1) media feasibility is 97.2% in the "very feasible" category, 2) material feasibility aspect with "very feasible" with a percentage of 92.8%, 3) language feasibility aspect with a percentage of 95% in the "very feasible" category.

Abstract

Learning Arabic for children with special needs challenges requires a flexible and creative approach. The complexity of grammar and the breadth of vocabulary are often additional hurdles for students with special needs. Therefore, it is essential to design teaching strategies tailored to students' characteristics and individual needs. This study reviews effective teaching methods like visual media, multisensory approaches, and personalized learning. Support from families and cooperation with education professionals are essential in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.  This study uses a qualitative method to deeply understand the problems of Children with Special Needs learning Arabic. Data was collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and FGDs, then analyzed descriptively with an inductive approach through the stages of reference collection, data analysis, explanation of findings, and conclusion drawing. By understanding the specific needs of students, teachers can develop a comprehensive lesson plan. With innovation and dedication in teaching methods, it is hoped that every ABK student can achieve their best ability in learning Arabic. This research aims to offer insights and practical guidance for educators in overcoming existing challenges while improving the learning experience of students with special needs. Research shows that learning Arabic for Children with Special Needs needs an adaptive approach with the help of visual, audio, and interactive methods to improve understanding and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Early childhood children experience rapid cognitive development, and understanding the stages helps teachers, parents, and educators create learning approaches that suit their developmental level. Meanwhile, in the context of the Muslim community, the skill of reading hijaiyyah letters (Arabic letters) is a fundamental first step in understanding Arabic and reading the Koran. Reading hijaiyyah letters is the foundation that allows children to develop a further understanding of the Arabic language and the Islamic religion. This research is an analysis of children's cognitive development in their learning process to master the skill of reading hijaiyyah letters using the literature review method. This research produces stages for mastering the skill of reading hijaiyyah letters, namely: The first stage is the introduction of hijaiyyah letters by recognizing letter shapes and their names. Stage two is to expand their understanding by recognizing simple words consisting of Hijaiyyah letters. that they have learned to understand the concept of words as a series of letters that form meaning. And finally, children are introduced to reading signs, such as vowels, which influence how letters are read in words. The stages of learning to read Hijaiyyah letters in early childhood are a tiered process that combines understanding of letters, words, and spelling in Arabic
