Abstract

The research was to describe the Direct Instruction Method for Increasing Of study result Nationality Learning sub title environment treatment in Elementary School of Nipa-Nipa Makassar.Type of this research was Classroom Ation Research which based on several steps, such as planning, action implementation observation, evaluation, and reflection. Subject of the research were II class students SD Inpres Nipa-Nipai Makassar as many as 27 students. Data collection used observation and the next test analyzed by descriptive method. The result of the research showed that the Direct Instruction Method could improve learnig result of students in II class SD Inpres Nipa-Nipa Makassar. In this case based on the improvement average value of learning result from 54.23% in cycle I became 78.63% in cycle II and the increase of average value is eleven percent. So, this research is considered successful on minimal criteria completeness from 34% at cycle I to 81% at cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize sales profit at the MSME Batagor Bandung Tarakan by applying the Simplex method in linear programming, supported by the POM-QM for Windows software. Profit optimization plays a crucial role in strategic decision-making, particularly in determining the optimal daily production quantities to enhance operational efficiency, maximize the use of raw materials, and meet market demand effectively. The Simplex method was chosen for its ability to solve linear optimization problems involving multiple constraints and variables, providing accurate mathematical solutions to achieve maximum profit. This research utilizes daily production data as the basis for analysis, which is then processed using the Simplex method in POM-QM. The results show that implementing the Simplex method can increase daily profits from IDR 634,000 to IDR 831,408 through a more efficient production combination. The study concludes that the Simplex method, when applied via the POM-QM software, is an effective tool for daily production decision-making and can support MSMEs like Batagor Bandung Tarakan in improving their competitiveness and business sustainability.

Abstract

Jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sebagai upaya peningkatan pendapatan ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Selumit Pantai melalui budidaya cabai. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif, di mana ibu rumah tangga dilibatkan dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan untuk budidaya cabai dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Selumit Pantai. Melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan, ibu rumah tangga mampu mengembangkan keterampilan dalam budidaya cabai. Selain itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap lingkungan. Budidaya cabai di lahan pekarangan dapat mengurangi penggunaan pestisida dan pupuk kimia, sehingga lebih ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, keberhasilan budidaya cabai juga dapat memotivasi ibu rumah tangga untuk menjaga kebersihan dan keindahan lingkungan sekitar. Kata kunci: Cabai, Ibu Rumah Tangga, Kelurahan Selumit Pantai, Peningkatan Pendapatan Abstract This community service journal aims to examine the utilization of backyard land as an effort to increase the income of housewives in Selumit Pantai Village through chili cultivation. The method used in this community service is a participatory approach, where housewives are involved in every stage of the activities, from planning to evaluation. The results of this community service show that the utilization of backyard land for chili cultivation can increase the income of housewives in Selumit Pantai Village. Through the training and mentoring provided, housewives are able to develop skills in chili cultivation. Additionally, this community service also has a positive impact on the environment. Chili cultivation in backyard land can reduce the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, making it more environmentally friendly. Furthermore, the success of chili cultivation can also motivate housewives to maintain cleanliness and the beauty of the surrounding environment.
