Abstract

MSMEs (Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises) have an important role now in the economy. 96% of companies in ASEAN are MSMEs. Although MSMEs have shown their role, they still face various obstacles and constraints such as lack of information, transaction record tech, weak branding, promotion and infrastructure. The application of information technology will certainly make it easier for MSMEs to strengthen branding, business processing and enable cooperation with other parties to provide added value to MSMEs. The application of cloud computing or cloud computing is considered suitable for MSMEs that have limited resources in the form of capital, human resources (HR) and information technology infrastructure. Responding to the importance of the application of information technology to these MSMEs, the research aims to design and build systems that can facilitate MSMEs by utilizing cloud computing technology with SAAS (software as a service). The system expectedly can produce the output which are the record of the transaction and its report for supporting the MSMEs business.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media has transformed consumer behaviour, particularly among younger generations in their purchasing decisions regarding fashion products. This study aims to explore the role of social media influencers in shaping consumer herd behaviour, and how these factors influence purchasing decisions among students at the University of Bangka Belitung. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, primary data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires distributed to students who are active social media users and have experience in purchasing fashion products. The findings indicate that influencers contribute to creating positive perceptions of products through visual content and engaging personal narratives, while herd behaviour emerges from the tendency to follow trends and collective decisions within one's social environment. Students often make purchasing decisions not solely based on personal need but as a response to social pressure and a desire to stay relevant with prevailing trends. This research highlights the significance of understanding social dynamics in digital spaces to develop more context-sensitive and relevant marketing strategies for younger consumers. Abstract

The problem in this study is related to the impact of the pandemic and post-pandemic periods, which led to restrictions on economic activities and hindered business growth in the consumer non-cyclical sector, a sector known for its relative stability. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, and total asset turnover on firm value in consumer non-cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021-2024 period. This study was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 31, with a sample of 308 data from 77 consumer non-cyclicals companies. However, 142 out of 308 company data were identified as outliers and did not fulfill the normality test in the classical assumption test, resulting in 166 samples used in this study. This study used Tobin’s Q as a parameter in measuring firm value. Data analysis methods used were classical assumption tests, descriptive statistics, coefficient of multiple determination, t-tests, F-tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results, the regression coefficients for ROA were -0.998, CR -0.021, and TATO 0.053. These three independent variables also had significance values less than 0.05, indicating that they significantly influence firm value. Thus, the research results indicate that profitability and liquidity have a significant negative effect on firm value, while total asset turnover has a significant positive effect on firm value.
