Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infection caused by acid-resistant bacilli or an infectious disease that can attack anyone through the air is also a dangerous infectious disease besides it is also a chronic or chronic disease that can strike between the ages of 15-35 years. The purpose of this study is to help prevent tuberculosis by implementing an expert system using the Bayes method. The method used in this research includes identifying problems faced in the medical world for treating tuberculosis, analyzing the problem, then formulating the problem and applying an expert system with the Bayes method to solve the problems that are obtained, the next stage is designing an application as needed, testing the application with the aim of knowing the success rate of the system. The implementation of the Bayes method in diagnosing tuberculosis is found. The result is that the calculation process using the Bayes method is based on the symptoms experienced by the patient. It can be seen that the patient is "most likely" to have pulmonary tuberculosis with a confidence value of 0.64 or 64%. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that in diagnosing Tuberculosis by using the Bayes method expert system, it can help medical parties handle cases more quickly in terms of recognizing the symptoms of Tuberculosis so that people quickly know the disease they are experiencing.

Abstract

Personal data is often the target of irresponsible people to misuse. The theft is carried out to profit from the person who has the data. In addition to the theft of work files, theft is also carried out on video files. The theft of this file aims to find out what the contents of the video are. Someone has a private video recording that should not be known by others. Misuse of video files will be fatal for the owner of the video. Cryptographic techniques are needed in video security. Caesar Cipher algorithm can help users in securing the video file. The Base64 algorithm can be used to change the ASCII 256 format to Base64 so that it is easy to send or store in a storage media. This algorithm will make the file structure simpler so that it can be displayed and saved. By applying the Base64 algorithm and Caesar Cipher on video files, the security and confidentiality of the files will be guaranteed

Abstract

The library plays a role in helping students to enjoy reading books. The availability of books in various fields motivates students to come to visit the library, students / i can read or borrow library books. For this reason, the purpose of this research was carried out including helping library officials apply the rules of how to visit the libraries. In carrying out research methods, including conducting direct observations, conducting interviews to collect the necessary data. The pattern that will be analyzed is the pattern of borrowing what books are often borrowed so that library officials know the information of books that are often borrowed. The result obtained is with the application of a priori algorithms, book data is processed to produce a pattern of borrowing books. After all high frequency patterns are found, then the association rules are sought that meet the minimum requirement for associative confidence A→B minimum confidence = 25%. The final association rules are ordered based on minimum support and minimum confidence, if borrowing IPA, then borrowing MTK Support = 15%, Confidence = 42.8%.

Abstract

Computer system architecture is one of the subjects that must be taken in the informatics engineering study program. In the study program the graduation of each student in the course is one of the important aspects that must be evaluated every semester. Graduation for each student / I in the course is an illustration that the learning process delivered is going well and also the material presented by the lecturer in charge of the course can be digested by students. Graduation of each student in the course can be predicted based on the habit pattern of the students. Data mining is an alternative process that can be done to find out habit patterns based on the data that has been collected. Data mining itself is an extraction process on a collection of data that produces valuable information for companies, agencies or organizations that can be used in the decision-making process. Prediction of graduation with data mining can be solved by classifying the data set. The C5.0 algorithm is an improvement algorithm from the C4.5 algorithm where the process is almost the same, only the C5.0 algorithm has advantages over the previous algorithm. The results of the C5.0 algorithm are in the form of a decision tree or a rule that is formed based on the entropy or gain value. The prediction process is carried out based on the C5.0 algorithm classification using the attributes of Attendance Value, Assignment Value, UTS Value and UAS Value. The final result of the C5.0 algorithm classification process is a decision tree with rules in it.

Abstract

This study aims to assist the Faculty of Science and Technology, Labuhanbatu University in making decisions to determine student eligibility to receive scholarships to increase academic achievement. Determining the acceptance of this scholarship is done by building a decision support system that helps make it easier to determine which students are eligible for the scholarship. A decision support system built using the Electre method. The criteria used in the SPK Electre Method consist of student achievement index, parents' income, number of dependents of parents, number of achievement certificates. Each criterion is given a weight with a ratio of 5, 2, 2, 1. The final result of the SPK Electre method is a recommendation through ranking data determined based on the highest number of numbers 1. The results of the case study in this research show that the alternative with the most value of 1 is obtained by the Mhs_007 alternative, and the alternative with the least value of 1 can be eliminated.

Abstract

Abstract: The reporting system for the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities in the Labuhanbatu University Campus still uses a simple method. As a result, the Head of the Communication Center, Technicians and Users of ICT facilities have difficulty in dealing with problems that arise. The purpose of this research is to build a more effective and efficient problem reporting system. The system built is a Web-based IT-Helpdesk Information System by implementing a Ticketing System. The method used in developing this system is the System Development Life Cycle with the Waterfall model. While the modeling language used in the design is Unified Modeling Language (UML). System testing is done by applying the Blackbox Testing method. After going through the implementation and testing stages, the IT-Helpdesk system can work more effectively and efficiently in responding to problem reports sent by users. With the IT-Helpdesk, Admins and Users can track the process of working on the problem until it is finished. Admin is also facilitated in documenting reports, both in the form of a diagram display, or in the form of a document file that can be downloaded.            Keywords: blackbox testing; IT-helpdesk; information system; ticketing system; UML  Abstrak: Sistem pelaporan masalah penggunaan fasilitas Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di Lingkungan Kampus Universitas Labuhanbatu masih menggunakan cara sederhana. Akibatnya, Kepala Puskom, Teknisi dan Pengguna fasilitias TIK mengalami kesulitan dalam menangani masalah yang muncul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk membangun sebuah sistem pelaporan masalah yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Sistem yang dibangun adalah Sistem Informasi IT-Helpdesk berbasis Web dengan menerapkan Ticketing System. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan sistem ini adalah System Development Life Cycle dengan model Waterfall. Sedangkan bahasa pemodelan yang digunakan pada perancangan adalah Unified Modeling Language (UML). Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode Blackbox Testing. Setelah melalui tahapan implementasi dan pengujian, sistem IT-Helpdesk dapat bekerja lebih efektif dan efisien dalam merespons laporan masalah yang dikirim oleh User. Dengan adanya IT-Helpdesk, Admin dan User dapat melakukan tracking terhadap proses pengerjaan masalah sampai selesai. Admin juga dimudahkan dalam mendokumentasikan laporan, baik dalam bentuk tampilan diagram, maupun dalam bentuk file dokumen yang dapat diunduh. Kata kunci: blackbox testing; IT-helpdesk; sistem informasi; ticketing system; UML

Abstract

Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva or the outer layer of the eye and the inner lining of the eyelids caused by micro-organisms or viruses, bacteria, fungi, chlamydia, allergies, irritation of chemicals. The problems that arise start from common symptoms that are often shown or are shown by eye diseases such as redness of the eye area and then cause pain and soreness. Diagnosis can be made by an ophthalmologist. In addition, to diagnose eye diseases, an expert system can also be used to pour expert knowledge into an expert system, thus helping diagnose eye diseases. The research objective is to analyze a desktop-based expert system program that contains the knowledge of a trusted expert/doctor who has the ability to be able to diagnose the disease from the eye disease symptoms felt by the patient quickly and precisely. The stages of research carried out in this study include literature study, data collection, system design, system creation, system testing. In addition, the authors developed using the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method, which is one method of building an expert system by making decisions from cases with the solution of previous cases to determine the type of conjunctivitis.
