Abstract

Bicara mengenai keamanan dan ketertiban dalam Negara, tentunya tidak lepas dari peran Kepolisian. Terciptanya lingkungan yang kondusif menimbulkan rasa aman dan tertib, bila hal ini tercapai maka taraf kesejahteraan masyarakat akan meningkat dalam menjalani kegiatan sehari-hari. Kinerja dalam tubuh Polri selalu menjadi sorotan yang membentuk persepsi bagi masyakat itu sendiri. Polri sebagai penegak hukum dan pengayom masyarakat merupakan figur penting di tengah masyarakat, bahkan impian menjadi seorang anggota polisi menjadi harapan bagi banyak orang. Terkait hal tersebut Polri selalu membuka peluang bagi putra-putri terbaik bangsa untuk ikut dan menjadi bagian sebagai penegak hukum dan abdi Negara. Dalam prakteknya Polri selalu mengedepankan motto “Bersih, Transparan, Akuntabel, dan Humanis” sebagai suatu bukti bahwa dalam penerimaan anggota Polri dilalui dengan proses seleksi yang ketat. Berkenaan dengan itu maka penulis melakukan penelitian untuk melihat bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap Polri khususnya dalam proses penerimaan anggota.

Abstract

As an independent country and has sovereignty, Indonesia is certainly equipped with security functions, both military (TNI) and law enforcement (Polri). The two of them used to be united in one institution called ABRI (Indonesian Armed Forces), the institution was led by the Minister of Defense and Security as well as the Commander of the Armed Forces, after the Suharto leadership stepped down, there was a separation between the TNI, both land, sea and air forces and the Police. Of course, there were many factors that influenced the separation of the two institutions, one of which was related to the legal politics that occurred at that time, the transfer of top leadership gave different policies and views on an institution and other state apparatus. The National Police itself has experienced changes from time to time, starting from the style of law enforcement, authority, to the vision and mission of the Police. The presence of the study of legal politics provides a new color and understanding in seeing law as a product of political power resulting from a long process, both negotiation and contestation of interests that work through the process of law formation.

Abstract

A large country is born from an intelligent government, especially in solving problems and obstacles that always come their way. Likewise today, the emergence of the Covid-19 virus has become a real attack that is not only felt by one or two regions, but throughout the world. This often makes leaders move quickly and swiftly in taking action. Indonesia, which has also felt the massive impact of this pandemic, has made various efforts, both handling and prevention. The National Police, which is at the forefront of security issues in the country, was immediately deployed to curb and secure every area that became a red zone for the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The implementation of the PSBB and health protocols in each region is implemented by involving the National Police. This turned out to encourage the National Police to make new and effective breakthroughs or policies in order to maintain the situation and order during this pandemic.

Abstract

Indonesia highly respects traditional and culturalnorms that have existed for a long time, one of which is mutualcooperation. Gotong royong is the hallmark of Indonesia and thecapital of the Indonesian people to achieve independence and aaccurate reflection of communal values which are the breath ofIndonesian society. The value of communality is seen in variouscultures and local wisdom spread throughout the archipelago,like rewang culture, PKK collections and Siskamling habits.However, the use of digital media and COVID-19 pandemic hasshifted public gatherings from physical space to virtual or digitalspace. This pattern of interaction causes a large sense ofindividuality and is prone to conflict and division. Therefore,awareness is needed to build a stable academic community andpay attention to the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperationto rebuild the cultural values of this communality.SMA Negeri 11 East Jakarta as the partner faced with theproblem of their lack of understanding regarding the role of theacademic community, especially for high school students in thedigital world.

Abstract

Dalam menjalani tuntutan profesi yang memiliki banyak tantangan, Polri tentu akan selalu bersinggungan dengan keadaan di lapangan yang membuat mereka dituntut harus siap dan sigap, terutama terkait penanganan dan pencegahan tindak kriminal, kondisi tersebut membuat setiap anggota polisi harus dibekali keahlian dan kemampuan dalam proses kegiatan mereka, dalam hal ini berbicara mengenai kewenangan memiliki dan menggunakan senjata api, secara umum anggota yang bertugas di lapangan dapat menggunakan senjata mereka untuk memberikan peringatan terhadap para pelaku tindak kriminal, dan dalam kondisi tertentu maka anggota dapat menggunakan senjata mereka untuk melumpuhkan pelaku, bahkan untuk menindak di tempat (eksekusi) para pelaku apabila sudah mengancam nyawa dan tidak menghiraukan peringatan yang diberikan. Namun hal ini menjadi sebuah masalah tatkla terdapat oknum yang menggunakan kewenangan mereka untuk kepentingan mereka sendiri dan melanggar hukum. Tulisan ini membahas bagaimana sebenarnya penggunaan senjata api di lapangan, kasus penyalahgunaan senjata, dan apa tolak ukur penggunaan senjata api berdasarkan apa yang telah diatur oleh undang-undang dan aturan terkait.

Abstract

The position of the rights and obligations of everyone in court is the same, but as a special relationship in the criminal justice system, children must receive different treatment, considering that children are an inseparable part of human survival and the sustainability of the nation and state. Law no. 11 of 2012 concerning the juvenile justice system emerged as a form of intention to create child-friendly courts, even looking further at the most basic substance of this rule, namely promoting the principles of restorative justice with a view to finding a settlement of cases without having to go through a trial. However, in practice there are still child cases that continue to take legal action through the courts. These problems will then be discussed, looking at the policies and realities as well as benchmarks about what kind of cases can be resolved in every process of resolving child cases in court.

Abstract

Success is not something that can be said or can be achieved easily, there is a benchmark that makes something successful, so for the National Police of course this can be seen through the level of public satisfaction with their performance, changes in handling models, progress in the law enforcement system, and improvement in the quality of resources, as well as several other factors. The emergence of the Precision program by the Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit is an illustration and a real example that this institution continues to transform consistently towards a better direction, of course this is not an easy matter, because every effort will find obstacles in it, the existence of this Precision program also aims to make the performance of the National Police more optimal for the community, for that this research tries to highlight how this Precision program has a real impact on the community and  The National Police themselves, of course, and see the results of a hard work in order to realize a humane civilian police.

Abstract

In carrying out the demands of a profession that has many challenges, the National Police will certainly always intersect with the situation on the ground that makes them required to be ready and swift, especially regarding the handling and prevention of criminal acts, these conditions make every police member must be equipped with expertise and abilities in the process of their activities, in this case talking about the authority to own and use firearms,  In general, members who serve in the field can use their weapons to warn against criminals, and under certain conditions, members can use their weapons to incapacitate the perpetrators, even to crack down on the spot (execution) of the perpetrators if they are life-threatening and ignore the warnings given. But this is a problem because there are people who use their authority for their own benefit and violate the law. This paper discusses how firearms actually use in the field, gun abuse cases, and what are the benchmarks for the use of firearms based on what has been regulated by relevant laws and rules.

Abstract

As a state institution that has the authority to enforce law, the National Police must of course have a very dynamic nature, the presence of a member of the Police must be able to have a great effect on the community. Of course this is viewed from various aspects, both the Police as protectors, protectors, and servants of the community. This paper highlights the presence of female police officers (Polwan) which in fact is an important part of the progress of this institution itself. The fact that the Polri profession is a profession that requires strong mentality, determination, and dedication is not only found in men, but women are also able to become important figures who have a major influence on the development of the Polri itself. On this occasion the author tries to explore a little about gender equality, especially the existence of policewomen in the police, that to become public servants not only men, but women also have their role and existence in society. The issue of gender equality itself has always been a hot topic that is interesting to talk about, this cannot be separated from the dichotomy between men and women.
