Abstract

The aim of this study is to explain the influences of computer based instruction, interactive multimedia-based simulation model on the curiosity of the fourth grade students. The design of this study uses a quasi experiment method with nonequivalent control-group design. The classes used were class IVA, IVB, and IVC with with each student numbers 24, 29, and 26. In this study, class IVA is used as a control class, while class IVB and class IVC as an experimental class. The results of the pretest showed that the curiosity of IVA students (control) was 65, while the post-test was 76.66. In class IVB (experiment 1) shows that, at pretest it was 63.44 and post-test 81. Meanwhile in the IVC (experiment 2) class the pretest was 61.53 and post-test 82.3. Thus the results of the Independent Sample T-test for students' curiosity showed significance (p) 0.041 <0.05 so Ho was rejected. This shows that, there are significant differences in curiosity of students who use computer based instruction products, interactive multimedia-based simulation models (experimental class) with those using conventional models (control class). With these results, it is expected to add to the repertoire of knowledge and alternative ways for teachers to influence students' curiosity, so that the development potential of students in the learning process becomes maximal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar pada pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, yang dimana setiap siklus terdapat empat tahapan: (1) perencanaan; (2) pelaksanaan tindakan; (3) tahap observasi dan evaluasi, dan; (4) refleksi. Tindakan yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa adalah dengan mengimplementasikan computer based instruction model simulasi. Hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal siklus I yaitu 75% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 83.3%. Demikian pula dengan aktivitas belajar siswa terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I yaitu memperoleh skor 47.5 dengan kategori cukup aktif, pada siklus II menjadi 62.5 dengan kategori aktif. Sedangkan skor aktivitas guru juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari siklus I memperoleh skor 14.5 berkategori sangat baik, pada siklus II memperoleh skor 17.5 berkategori sangat baik. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan computer based instruction model simulasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas III SD tahun pelajaran 2014/2015

Abstract

Students’ autonomy toward teacher during the learning activities leads one-way learning. Consequently, students have less autonomy in the learning activities. Therefore, this research adressed to implement the media computer based instruction (simulation model) in improving the students’ autonomy in a science learning. The total participants in this research were 79 of the 4th grade students from a purposively primary schools during the first semester of 2018. They were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group (n=55) and the control group (n=24). The research used a pre-test post-test quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The students’ autonomy data were collected by using the observation sheet for each of post-test and pre-test which consisted of five aspects i.e. motivation, initiative, confidence, discipline, and responsibility. The independent sample t-test was used statistically to compare the average score of the students’ autonomy during the pre-test and post-test. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 11.0 statistics program. The findings of the research indicated that computer based instruction (simulation model) affects the students’ autonomy significantly in the science learning. Thus, the researcher believes in the further study, the computer based instructions (simulation model) can be intergrated with the model or method in the learning activity to improve the students’ autonomy in learning science.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the science learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students through the application of the modeling the way method.The subjects of this research were 26 grade III elementary school students consisting of 16 male students and 10 female students. The method in this research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles where each cycle consists of several stages, including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data on student learning outcomes is obtained from written tests at the end of each cycle, while teacher and student activities are obtained from observation instruments. Indicators of success in learning outcomes are said to have increased if ≥ 85% of students get a score of ≥ 65, while indicators of success in teacher activities are at least in the good category and indicators of student activity are at least in the "active" category. Based on the research results, data obtained on improving the quality of the learning implementation process, namely for teaching activities in cycle I, teachers obtained a score of 34 in the quite good category and in cycle II it increased by obtaining a score of 41 in the good category. Likewise for student learning activities in cycle I obtained a score of 33 in the quite active category and in cycle II it increased by obtaining a score of 40 in the good category. For student learning outcomes, the average score in cycle I was 70.3 with a classical completeness percentage of 69.2% and there was an increase in the second cycle with an average score of 85.4 with a classical completeness percentage of 85.1%, the conclusion of This research is that the application of the way modeling method can improve students' science learning outcomes in class III elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze policies and strategies that can improve the distribution and quality of teachers in Indonesia. A literature study approach was used to explore literature relevant to this topic, with a focus on teacher management policies, participatory models in teacher management, multigrade learning (PKR), and training programs in teacher distribution. Literature analysis reveals that teacher management policies need to pay attention to aspects of recruitment, placement, welfare and technology integration. The participatory model and PKR are effective solutions for optimizing limited human resources in areas with a shortage of teachers. In-service training programs are also important to improve teacher competency. Thus, holistic and strategic policy implementation is needed to improve the distribution and quality of teachers in Indonesia, especially in remote areas, in order to improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve learning achievement in Aqidah Akhlak learning through class management skills in class IV students at Madrasah Ibtidiyah. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in 2 cycles consisting of 2 meetings with 4 stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. As subjects in the research were teachers of the Aqidah Akhlak subject and class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students, totaling 25 students. The data collection methods used are observation, tests, documentation and interviews. Observations include teacher teaching activities in managing the class and students' actions during implementation in each cycle. The test used is a multiple choice question test to determine the increase in student learning outcomes which is carried out in the performance of each cycle. Interviews were conducted with teachers and students. The data in this research includes two types, namely quantitative and qualitative data. The results of the research can be concluded that the application of classroom management skills can improve Aqidah Akhlak class IV learning achievement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This is shown from the pre-cycle student scores below 70 with an average class score of 62.4 or only 10 students who completed. and classical completeness is 40% out of 25 people. In cycle I, it was found that teacher activity was quite active, with an average student activity score of 10.4 in the quite active category. From the evaluation results data from cycle I, it was found that 72% of students or 18 students completed classical completion. Meanwhile, in cycle II, teacher activity was classified as very active, namely with an average student activity score of 22.2 in the very active category, and from the results In the second cycle evaluation, 92% of students or 23 students completed classical completion. The increase in student learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlak subject increased by 52% from pre-cycle to cycle II.

Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini sesuai dengan hasil observasi di RA Insan Tangkas adalah rendahnya kemampuan motorik kasar melalui permainan tikus-kucing, maka dari itu ingin mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan motorik kasar anak melalui permainan tikus-kucing agar permainan ini dapat dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta membantu memperdayakan guru dalam memecahkan masalah pembelajaran disekolah, untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran di kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus setiap siklus terdiri 4 tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi serta refleksi. Hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik Siklus I nilai rata-rata 11 dengan persentase keaktifan 55% dan Siklus II nilai rata-rata 19,6 dengan persentase keaktifan 82%, observasi keterampilan motorik kasar peserta didik Siklus I nilai rata-rata 13,5 dengan persentase keaktifan 60% Siklus II nilai rata-rata 24,5 dengan persentase keaktifan 89%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Bilangan Bulat melalui metode demonstrasi dengan media Papan Garis Bilangan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Cipawon  dengan jumlah 19 siswa yang terdiri dari 7 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan melalui 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan, dimana 1 kali pertemuan terdiri dari 2 jam pelajaran. Prosedur pelaksanaan setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari lembar observasi baik guru maupun siswa. Untuk memperoleh data prestasi belajar digunakan tes evaluasi pada setiap akhir siklus. Untuk memperoleh hasil motivasi siswa, digunakan angket amotivasi yang diberikan pada akhir siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata nilai 65,5 dengan prosentase ketuntasan 73,3%, pada siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,3 dengan prosentase ketuntasan 89,5%. Hasil motivasi siswa pada siklus I mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,30 dengan kriteria baik, dan pada siklus II mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,42 dengan kriteria baik. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi dengan menggunkan Papan Garis Bilngan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Cipawon pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi Bilangan Bulat

Abstract

Dengan  sistem  pembelajaran  saintifik  yang  di dalamnya banyak terkadung berbagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat di gunakan oleh peserta didik. Di sini yang mendominasi seluruh pembelajaran adalah peserta didik, peserta didik di harapkan aktif dan bersifat memberi ilmu  pengetahuan  juga kepada teman  yang lain,  jadi tidak hanya menerima saja. Proses pembelajaran sepenuhnya diarahkan pada pengembangan ketiga ranah (sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan) secara utuh atau holistic, artinya pengembangan ranah yang satu tidak bisa dipisahkan dengan yang lainnya. Dalam kegiatan ini, beberapa target luaran diantaranya: (1) terlaksananya kegiatan pelatihan dengan judul “Pelatihan ImplementasiPembelajaran Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik (Scientific Approach) bagi guru di SD Negeri 2 Sigar Penjalin (2) peserta (guru) mampu memahami konsep, karakteristik, dan langkah-langkah/prosedur pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifik (scientific Approach); (3) peningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengimplemenasikan pendekatan saintifik dalam proses pembelajaran; dan (4) menghasilkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dengan tahapan saintifik. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan secara kelompok, curah pendapat, dan partisipatif. Adapu tahapan kegiatan ini sebagai berikut: (1) persiapan dan pembekalan; (2) penyampaian materi; (3) pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdiann dan (4) rencana keberlanjutan program. Hasil dari pengabdian diperoleh bahwa guru di SD Negeri 2 Sigar Penjalin memiliki masalah dalam memahami pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Guru hanya mengikuti panduan yang terdapat pada buku guru tanpa melakukan pengembangan secara kontekstual

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning for slow learners in grade II at elementary school, focusing on the preparation, implementation, and solutions applied within the context of inclusive education. The findings revealed that although teachers prepare the Lesson Plan (RPP) based on the Curriculum, the approach used remains uniform for all students, without specific adjustments for slow learners. In the learning process, while efforts to enhance student motivation and engagement are made through methods such as question-and-answer sessions and group work, slow learners do not receive tailored modifications in the learning components or assessments. Special programs like additional time for homework and regular meetings with parents have been implemented, but without intervention from Special Education Teachers (GPK). Moreover, no remedial programs are provided to help slow learners achieve mastery of the material. This study concludes that while the school adopts an inclusive education system, there are still gaps in addressing the specific needs of slow learners, requiring more attention in terms of curriculum adjustments, teaching methods, and assessment modifications to achieve optimal learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran bagi peserta didik lamban belajar di kelas II SD, dengan fokus pada persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan solusi yang diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa meskipun guru telah mempersiapkan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang mengacu pada Kurikulum, pendekatan yang digunakan masih seragam untuk semua peserta didik, tanpa adanya penyesuaian khusus bagi peserta didik lamban belajar. Dalam proses pembelajaran, meskipun terdapat upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan peserta didik melalui metode seperti tanya jawab dan kerja kelompok, peserta didik lamban belajar tidak mendapatkan modifikasi komponen pembelajaran atau evaluasi yang spesifik. Program khusus seperti waktu tambahan untuk tugas sepulang sekolah dan pertemuan dengan wali murid sudah diterapkan, namun tanpa adanya intervensi dari Guru Pendamping Khusus (GPK). Selain itu, belum ada program remedial yang diberikan untuk membantu peserta lamban belajar mencapai ketuntasan materi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun sekolah menerapkan sistem pendidikan inklusif, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan khusus peserta didik lamban belajar, yang memerlukan perhatian lebih dalam hal penyesuaian kurikulum, metode, dan evaluasi pembelajaran untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.
