Abstract

Gold mining activities in Padesa Village are carried out traditionally, namely with simple and relatively inexpensive techniques using traditional tools and the process of binding gold from the ground using mercury. The mercury residue in the waters of the village of Padesa is 0,002 mg/L anda the average mercury content in yhe waste reservoir is 0,0695 mg/L, which means that is hhas passed the Permenkes Standard No. 32 of 2017. The strategy for implementing mercury-free alternative technology requires very large costs. This causes people to continue to choose to use coils and mercury. The urgency of this community service activity, the low knowledge and awareness of the Padesa Village community about the dangers of mercury and the management of waste water from logs. It is hoped that this service avtivity aims: (1) Increase the knowledge of the Padesa Village community, Lantung Sub-District on the impact of mercury on health and the environment, (2) Encourage the Padesa Village community, Lantung sub-district to change their behavior in managing waste water from logs, (3)Encouraging the community of Padesa Village, Lantung sub-district to take part in controlling environmental pollution caused by mercury waste, (4)Avoiding the negative impact of mercury pollution on health for workers and residents of Padesa Village. The method used is the provision of education to the community through socialization and counseling activities. The result of this activity was that the average target knowledge before being given counseling (Pretest) was 33,89% and increased to 77,22% after being is an increase (Posttest). The impact of this activity is an increase in target knowledge by 43,33% and a change in the behavior of waste water management.

Abstract

Indonesia peringkat kelima kelahiran prematur tertinggi didunia dengan angka 15,5 per100 kelahiran hidup, Faktor kesehatan dan kondisi janin menjadi faktor penyebab bayi lahir prematur dan kelahiran bayi prematur membuat ibu mengalami tekanan psikologis ibu, intraksi ibu dengan bayi prematur terhambat, dengan demikian ibu sangat membutuhkan dukungan dari suami, keluarga, tenaga kesehatan dan lain-lain. Untuk mengetahui pengalaman ibu terhadap bayi premature. Lima tahapan melakukan scoping review digunakan dalam review ini. Lima tahapan tersebut diantaranya: mengidentifikasi pertanyaan penelitian, mengidentifikasi studi yang relevan, pemilihan studi, data charting dan menyusun, meringkas serta melaporkan hasilnya. Dari studi literatur didapatkan beberapa karakteristik studi yakni berdasarkan Jenis metodologi penelitian yang digunakan, negara yang diteliti dan pengumpulan data. Tinjauan ini juga mengulas tentang 3 tema besar berkaitan dengan pengalaman ibu postpartum dengan kelahiran bayi prematur yaitu dampak tekanan psikologis ibu, dukung yang diberikan pada ibu, interaksi ibu dengan bayi. Kelahiran bayi prematur umumnya akan membuat kekhawatiran ibu terhadap kondisi bayinya dan mengakibatkan tekanan psikologis pada ibu, hal ini membuat ibu membutuhkan dukungan dari suami, keluarga dan tenaga kesehatan, apabila masalah tekanan psikologis ini bila tidak segera di atasi akan berdampak pada kesehatan mental ibu yang akan mempengaruhi intraksi ibu dengan bayinya.

Abstract

Farmers in Karangsari Village have limited access to subsidized fertilizers because they are constrained by the requirements that must be met. This condition encourages farmers to look for alternative fertilizers that can reduce dependence on subsidized fertilizers, one of which is by using mycorrhizal biofertilizers. This service activity is an advanced stage of the previous service activity. The purpose of the activity is to provide training in making plant plots and techniques for using mycorrhizal biofertilizers in the plant cultivation process. Service activities are carried out by lecture and practice methods with stages: 1) pre-test, 2) exposure of fertilizer material, fertilization and biofertilizer (material repetition), 3) practice of making plant demplots, 4) practice of mycorrhizal biofertilizer application to plants, 5) post test, and 6) assistance in plant observation and maintenance. The results of the service show that there is an increase in farmers' knowledge in understanding biological fertilizers and an increase in farmers' awareness/desire in applying biological fertilizers in cultivation practices.

Abstract

Lip balm is a cosmetic product designed to protect and maintain the moisture of the lips, especially from environmental factors that can cause dry, cracked, or irritated lips, such as low temperatures and wind. Dry lips can interfere with comfort and appearance, making protection with lip balm essential. This study aims to formulate and evaluate a lip balm preparation made from a combination of natural and chemical ingredients, such as cera flava, oleum cacao, nipagin, glycerin, lanolin, and the addition of powder dye. These ingredients were chosen because of their ability to maintain lip moisture, provide protection against external factors, and ensure long-term safety for use. The lip balm manufacturing process begins with heating the primary ingredients, cera flava and oleum cacao, which are melted first. After the primary ingredients have melted, additional ingredients such as nipagin, glycerin, lanolin, and powder dye are added gradually. The mixture is stirred carefully to ensure that all ingredients are evenly blended. Once all the ingredients are well-mixed, the liquid mixture is poured into molds and allowed to cool and harden. This process is crucial for achieving the desired lip balm texture, which should not be too hard or too soft and should facilitate easy application to the lips. Based on the analysis results, the formulated lip balm demonstrates good physical stability, without significant changes in color, odor, or texture during testing. The lip balm also provides ease of use, with a smooth texture that is easy to apply to the lips. The results of this study show that the combination of ingredients used can produce an effective lip balm product that maintains lip moisture and provides optimal protection against harsh environmental conditions, such as low temperatures.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a unique natural condition because although it is not a disease, it often causes complications due to various anatomical and physiological changes in the mother's body. Pregnant women who suffer from anemia can have an impact on the fetus, such as premature birth, the risk of low birth weight (LBW), fetal abnormalities, and increased risk of fetal distress. In general, the causes of anemia in pregnancy are iron deficiency and acute bleeding or even the interaction of both. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effectiveness of giving red spinach juice and Ambon bananas on Hb levels in pregnant women in the third trimester. The design used in this study was a quantitative inferential study including the pre-experimental type with two group pretest-posttest. Based on the time of data collection, it included the cross-sectional type, sourced from primary and secondary data. An assessment of the difference in increasing HB levels was carried out before and after treatment (Pretest and Postest two Group Design). Data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the analysis showed an effect in giving red spinach juice and Ambon bananas. It is hoped that the Health Center will facilitate health workers (midwives) in providing information on providing guava juice with red spinach leaf juice as an alternative for preventing and managing anemia during pregnancy in the Health Center's work area.
