Abstract

Indonesia memiliki kurang lebih 40.000 jenis keanekaragaman tumbuhan. Tumbuhan adalah komponen vegetasi yang menyusun ekosistem hutan. Ekosistem hutan pada zona riparian berfungsi penting, namun spesifik dengan habitat peralihan antara daratan dan perairan. Vegetasi riparian ini ditemukan pada kawasan daerah aliran sungai, dari sumber air, bantaran sungai sampai ke muara. Komunitas vegetasi riparian secara alami terdiri dari pohon, herba sampai tumbuhan bawah. Sungai strategis yang kewenangannya berada di Provinsi Jawa Timur adalah DAS Welang. Sungai Welang memiliki panjang 40,6 km, secara adminstratif berada pada Kab. Malang, Kab. Pasuruan dan Kota Pasuruan dengan luasan daerah aliran sungai dari hulu sampai ke hilir adalah 498,03 km2. Namun sungai Welang saat ini mengalami permasalahan lingkungan akibat aktivitas manusia, seperti banjir, penurunan kuantitas dan kualitas air serta perubahan tata guna lahan. Perubahan tata guna lahan ataupun deforestasi di daerah hulu akan mengakibatkan banjir di daerah hilir akibat curah hujan yang jatuh tidak memiliki daerah resapan / tutupan vegetasi yang cukup, sehingga air langsung menuju ke sungai. Salah satu target utama dalam Global Strategic Plant Conservation (GSPC) adalah studi keanekaragaman tumbuhan, terutama di habitat prioritas yang terancam. Oleh karena itu, studi awal keanekaragaman tumbuhan riparian di daerah hulu DAS Welang menjadi sangat penting karena bersaing dengan laju degradasi yang sangat cepat dari berbagai permasalahan lingkungan. Studi awal ini dilakukan selama bulan Maret 2021, pada tiga lokasi DAS Welang bagian hulu. Dalam paper ini membahas secara singkat mulai penentuan lokasi studi, pengumpulan data sekunder, sampai survey dan gambaran kondisi lokasi yang dipilih untuk penelitian vegetasi lebih lanjut. Hasil studi menunjukan pada daerah hulu sungai Welang terdapat lokasi yang memiliki vegetasi riparian alami, terutama pada daerah sumber air seperti Krabyakan-Lawang, Jempinang-Purwosari dan anak sungai Dem-Purwodadi.

Abstract

Hadith is one of the sources of Islamic law that plays an important role in explaining and complementing the Qur'an. This article aims to examine the urgency and function of hadith in Islamic education, especially in explaining values that are not explicitly found in the Qur'an, and how hadith can be used as a basis for educational methodology. This study uses a literature approach by exploring various primary and secondary sources that discuss the function of hadith in education. The results of the study show that the hadith functions as explanatory, complementary, reinforcing, and limiting verses of the Qur'an, thus becoming an important foundation in building a holistic Islamic education system. In addition, the function of the hadith which includes explaining the law, strengthening moral values, and establishing a compassion-based learning methodology makes it relevant in the modern education system. The practical implication of this study is the importance of an in-depth understanding of hadith in designing an Islamic education curriculum that is oriented towards character building and spirituality.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the epistemology and axiology dimensions in the application of direct method (al-Thariqah al-Mubasyirah) in Arabic language learning at Markaz Qur'an and Arabic Language Isy Karima, Karangpandan. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three resource persons who are ustadz, direct observation of the learning process, and analysis of relevant curriculum documents. The results showed that epistemologically, the direct method provides contextual and relevant understanding of Arabic through direct practice, active interaction, and the use of props. Santri are directly involved in the learning process without relying on the mother tongue, which strengthens the mastery of vocabulary and grammar naturally. Axiologically, this method builds students' Arabic communication competence while increasing their religious awareness through understanding the Qur'an and Hadith. In addition, this method creates a conducive learning environment (bi'ah lughawiyah), supports social interaction in Arabic, and builds santri's confidence in communication. However, this study also found some challenges in implementing the direct method, such as limited learning facilities and the need for further training for ustadz in more varied teaching strategies. Therefore, it is recommended to improve facilities, training for ustadz, and collaboration with parents to strengthen santri learning outcomes. This study confirms that the direct method can be developed as a superior approach in Arabic language learning, especially in Islamic educational institutions such as Markaz Qur'an and Isy Karima Arabic.

Abstract

Cheerfulness, happiness, and resilience are fundamental elements in an effective and meaningful learning process. Happiness not only creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere but also strengthens students' resilience in facing challenges. From an Islamic perspective, happiness has a profound spiritual dimension, providing a strong foundation for students to remain steadfast and optimistic in their learning journey. Creative approaches, such as interactive methods, engaging media, project-based learning, and gamification, can foster a learning environment that supports students' emotional and intellectual growth. By integrating religious values and creative strategies, the learning process not only achieves strong academic outcomes but also shapes students with resilient character, the ability to endure adversity, and a balanced perspective between worldly and spiritual pursuits. This holistic approach significantly contributes to nurturing a generation of learners who can face life's challenges with optimism, resilience, and joy.
