ABSTRACT Junior high school students are in a critical phase of puberty that requires accurate and age-appropriate reproductive health literacy. This article reports on the peer educator training program “Generasi Lancang Kuning” at SMPN 27 Pekanbaru, which focused on puberty (menstruation and wet dreams) and sexual impulse control, using the Pojok Informasi (Information Corner) approach and the reflective framework “Wajarkah.” The program aimed to enhance the knowledge and attitudes of peer educators so they could effectively educate their classmates. The activity employed a one-group pre–post design involving 30 participants (some of whom were student council members), with 27 matched data sets available for descriptive analysis. The knowledge instrument consisted of multiple-choice and true–false items, while attitudes were measured using a five-point Likert scale. Training satisfaction was assessed through a brief questionnaire. Results showed a significant increase in knowledge from 7.48±0.75 to 9.81±0.40 (∆=+2.33; +31.2%), with 100% of participants improving and 77.8% achieving the maximum score. Attitudes also improved from 42.19±4.04 to 46.81±4.10 (∆=+4.63; +11.0%). Participant feedback indicated that the materials were clear and beneficial, with menstruation and wet dreams being the most engaging topics. Most participants reported feeling happy and committed to making positive changes (e.g., maintaining personal hygiene, rejecting pornographic content). These findings affirm that the Pojok Informasi–Wajarkah approach is effective in strengthening peer educator capacity at the junior high school level. The program recommends enhancing integrated information corners (physical–digital) that connect students, schools, and health centers, adding micro-teaching sessions to ensure peer-to-peer knowledge transfer, and refining evaluation instruments to better detect ceiling effects.
