Abstract

Bullying action was still as trend and current issue, especially among adolescence. This was related to increasing incidence per year and its large impact especially on mental health problems. Where adolescence's mental health was a long-term asset because of its influence on development level and quality of life among adolescents in the future. The study aims was to identify bullying and its relationship with mental health problem among adolescence. The study design was a scoping review. The searching literature using journal database PubMed (MEDLINE), Proquest, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar through entering keywords bullying, mental health problem, adolescence. 12 articles selected from 384 articles. It reported that increasing bullying incidents among adolescence were associated with gender, age, role in bullying, and type of bullying. Majority adolescence who experience bullying were at high risk of experiencing mental health problem especially depression, anxiety, and even suicidal idea and perpetration. There were correlation between bullying incidence with mental health problem among adolescence. The study result expecting could give an understanding to adolescence regarding to bullying and its huge negative impact on mental health, so that bullying action among adolescence could be stopped.

Abstract

Fenomena penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja telah menjadi masalah kesehatan global. Hal ini berkaitan dengan meningkatnya angka kejadian setiap tahunnya dan berbagai dampaknya terhadap masalah kesehatan. Peningkatan kejadian ini tidak lepas dari faktor internal, antara lain rendahnya pengetahuan dan sikap tentang bahaya narkoba. diperlukan upaya meningkatkan  pengetahuan dan sikap remaja. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini  memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba pada remaja dengan menggunakan model promosi kesehatan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di desa Pondoknongko dengan melibatkan 32 remaja sebagai responden. Responden diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan pendekatan model promosi kesehatan. Pre-test dan post-test diberikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan lembar angket.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan intervensi terhadap tingkat pengetahuan (p=0,000), dan sikap (p=0,001) pada remaja. Mayoritas responden mempunyai pengetahuan baik dan sikap positif setelah diberikan intervensi. Penelitian ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap tentang pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja. Remaja diharapkan mampu mempraktikkan perilaku promosi kesehatan tentang pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba melalui kegiatan positif yang berbasis pemberdayaan diri dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Hypertension is a common circulatory disorder in the community that, if not promptly managed, can lead to death and various complications. Therefore, effective blood pressure management is crucial, and one effective method is aerobic exercise. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of aerobic exercise on blood pressure control in hypertension clients in Desa Genteng Kulon, Banyuwangi. This research is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-group pre-posttest design. The sample consisted of 38 participants, selected using purposive sampling. The research instruments included observation sheets, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), sphygmomanometers, and stethoscopes. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to determine the impact of aerobic exercise on blood pressure before and after the intervention. The results showed that the pre study, blood pressure of the majority of respondents, 18 respondents (47.4%) were in the grade 1 hypertension category and 12 respondents (31.6%) were in grade 2 hypertension. Meanwhile, post study, blood pressure showed that 15 respondents (39.5%) were in the grade 1 hypertension, 14 respondents (36.8%) were pre-hypertensive and 8 people (21.1%) were normal. The Wilcoxon t-test showed a p-value of 0.000<0.05, so there was a significant effect on blood pressure between before and after giving aerobic exercise. This study is expected to provide valuable information and suggest that hypertension patients incorporate regular aerobic exercise into their routines, as it can enhance daily physical activity and serve as an alternative for prevention and treatment of hypertension.
