Abstract

 Food crops, horticulture, rice, and secondary crops are grown on 12 hectares of agricultural land in the Pagergunung I and Pagergunung II Hamlets of Sitimulyo District. The primary issue that farmers deal with is the scarcity of water, particularly during the dry season. Commonly, diesel engines are used for water management because there are no electrical sources near agricultural land, resulting in the overall waterneeds not being fulfilled and may lead to the degradation of agricultural land. The goal of this community service initiative is to construct an irrigation system using submersible water pumps that are powered by Internet of Things (IoT)-based New Renewable Energy (EBT) technology. Consequently, the farmers in Pagergunung I and Pagergunung II Hamlets are able to overcome their challenges thanks to the creation of this system. An Arduino microcontroller served as the control center for the irrigation system’s design, a selenoid valve opened and closed water channels, solar panels provided electrical power, and the Ubidots application served as the system’s user interface. The activity’s outcomes demonstrate that solar panels can provide electricity when it is sunny, that irrigation management can be controlled with applications, and that the constructed irrigation system can irrigate agricultural land uniformly.

Abstract

Today's education aims to equip students with the 21st-century skills necessary for success in a world shaped by globalization and technological advancement. These skills include creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and complex problem-solving. In the context of teaching English to young learners, particularly in Islamic elementary schools, integrating a game-based approach into the classroom proves to be an effective strategy. This approach fosters an engaging and dynamic learning environment that can incorporate all the necessary skills within the language learning process. However, traditional game-based methods often rely on physical or paper-based games that lack interactivity, scalability, and integration with digital literacy, which is a key aspect of 21st-century learning. These methods also tend to be teacher-centered, limited in content variety, and less motivating for digital-native students. This study aims to develop a 5C skills-based English learning game application using the Research and Development (R&D) method. To achieve this, the study employed the ADDIE model, including needs assessment, to analyze elementary school students' needs, wants, and challenges in learning English. This analysis forms the basis for developing the application, as well as its design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The results of thematic and descriptive statistical analyses revealed the importance of digital game media in actively engaging students and motivating them in their learning. The experiment demonstrated a significant difference in outcomes between students taught through traditional methods and those using digital games. This study suggests the necessity of incorporating digital games in English language learning as a valuable tool that every teacher should consider.

Abstract

Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan aset yang masih padat karya dan rentan terhadap kesalahan manusia, sehingga diperlukan sistem yang efisien dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Aset Berbasis Web menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) untuk mempercepat proses pengembangan melalui pendekatan prototipe dan iterasi. Hasil Uji beta berdasarkan penilaian kuesioner dari responden menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan 84%. Sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan aset, mengurangi kesalahan manual, dan menyediakan penjadwalan aset
