Abstract

The Coastal Area is an aquatic ecosystem that has high productivity and is able to support the survival of various aquatic biota and is often used as a place for various daily life activities by residents including fishing activities, tourism activities and mining activities. The aims of this study were to analyze the density, diversity, uniformity and dominance of molluscs (gastropods and bivalves) and to analyze the relationship between the density of mollusks (gastropods and bivalves) and environmental factors. The sampling technique used the 1x1m² Quadratic Transect method. The results obtained at all observation stations were 13 types of gastropods and 9 types of bivalves. Diversity is in the low to medium category which ranges from 0.8760 to 2.1655. The uniformity of gastropods and bivalves was moderate to high which ranged from 0.5291-0.8715, and was dominated by Pinerella cingulata gastropods. The results of principal component analysis (PCA) showed that the density of gastropods showed the parameters of depth, silt and clay, and the density of bivalves showed the parameters of brightness, salinity and sand which had a high affinity with density which was a limiting factor for the distribution or abundance of gastropods and bivalves.

Abstract

Group cohesiveness is usually an interesting object of study in the context of social life and work management. However, cohesiveness can also be found in educational study areas. This study aims to determine the cohesiveness of the students of SD Negeri 2 Prambanan, find out the differences in cohesiveness between the independent groups and teacher formation groups, and the impact of the cohesiveness on the learning strategies. The quantitative methods are used to measure and to compare cohesiveness between the two groups using a t-test. The qualitative methods are used to narrate how teachers implement learning strategies according to student cohesiveness. The cohesiveness refers to the concept of Forsyth, which divides into the social, task, perceived, and emotional. This study finds that first, the group cohesiveness of students is in a moderate position. Second, the independent groups have significantly higher than the teacher formation groups. Abstract

The study of Islamic education theory has so far prioritized the thinking of educational scholars from the Arab world. However, the study of Islamic educational thought of Nusantara scholars still needs to be encouraged. One of the Nusantara scholars who was very instrumental in the Indonesian Islamic intellectualism tradition was Sheikh Abd Shamad al-Palimbani (1704-1789). This article aims to explain al-Palimbani's educational thoughts, especially on the ethical aspects of a student and teacher, as well as its relevance to the educational practices today. The main data source of this article is al-Palimbani's work entitled Sair as-Salikin. The content analysis is used to analyze and explain the work. This article finds that in al-Palimbani's view, a student must have ethics both relating to himself and relating to his teacher. Some of the ethics are a student must be clean of his heart from despicable nature, focus on study, redempted, respect knowledge, intention because of God, respect the teacher, and not feel smarter than his teacher. Meanwhile, a teacher should be patient, affectionate with students, humble, accept the truth of other opinions, not expect rewards, resuscitate students and others. It some points of al-Palimbani's educational thought that are still very relevant to the characteristics of 21st century education. Among them are the importance of mutual respect between students and teachers, honesty in communicating, openness in accepting the truth, and lifelong learning. At least, al-Palimbani's educational thougths are relevant to the characteristics of 21st century education, in expecting rewards from teaching activities and excessive restrictions on students when in the presence of teachers

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kegelisahan pada bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi operasi hitung pecahan biasa. Penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar cetak berbasis Leaflet, 2) mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan bahan ajar cetak berbasis Leaflet, 3) untuk mengetahui keefektifitasan bahan ajar cetak berbasis Leaflet dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung operasi pecahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah RnD (Research and Development). Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak digujnakan sebagai salah satu sumber belajar matematika pada materi operasi hitung pecahan biasa. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi memperoleh nilai 98 %, kemudian hasil penilaian ahli desain sebesar 86%. Selanjutnya, penilaian dari respon guru memperoleh nilai 96%. Bahan ajar cetak berbasis Leaflet ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung operasi pecahan yang diperoleh dari hasil perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test saat menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis Leaflet. Nilai rata-rata pada pre-test diperoleh sebesar 39,49. Sedangkan, nilai rata-rata pada post test diperoleh nilai sebesar 66,46. Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis Leaflet efektif dalam meningkatkan kemmapuan menghitung operasi pecahan. Kemudian, diharapkan proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, interaktif dan dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar serta meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung anak usia dasar melalui bahan ajar cetak berbasis Leaflet

Abstract

This development research uses the ADDIE research model, with 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of this study are 15 students in class 5B of SDN Curahmalang 2, Jombang Regency with 6 students for small group trials and 20 students for field tests. The results of the study show that. 1) The results of computer-based interactive multimedia validity were obtained from media expert validators 93.3%, material validation 93.3%, and learning design validation 90%, with an average percentage of expert validation of 92.9%, which stated that it was very valid for use. While field tests showed 78.7% of the results of observations of student activities, 95.8% of teacher activities, and 90% obtained from student learning outcomes. This research is expected to motiva te teachers to create or develop media and optimize the use of technology in learning media.
