Abstract

Post-acute coronary syndrome is the rehabilitation phase that can result in physical and psychological changes that affect the quality of life of the patient which then causes psychosocial problems in the form of anxiety and depression. This anxiety and depression has a correlation with spiritual well-being. The aim of this study was to identify the level of spiritual well-being in patients after acute coronary syndrome in RS cardiac polyclinic. Dr. M.yunus Bengkulu. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using the SIWB instrument. The population of this study were all patients with SKA in 2017, totaling 250 respondents in the last 6 months. This study used accidental sampling technique, amounting to 43 respondents. The results showed that most of the patients were with low spiritual well-being (23%). In conclusion, the patient's spiritual well-being is low, so there is a need for increased fulfillment of the spiritual needs of the family.

Abstract

Kemumu Village is a tourist destination that is visited by many people from various regions. The characteristics of the Kemumu Village tourist area has steep rocky areas, waterfalls, 1000-level stairs, cold temperatures, slippery roads, and has cross-country tourism activities. The problems that occur are frequent accidents due to falls that result in head injuries, spinal injuries, bleeding, drowning, fractures, shortness of breath, respiratory and cardiac arrest, and other emergency conditions. This condition poses a threat of disability and even death to the victim if it is not handled quickly and appropriately in tourist areas. Loss of life in tourists is bad news for the world of tourism. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out community service activities, especially the Young Generation regarding Emergency Alert (Gemu Gadar) in the tourist area of Kemumu Village, North Bengkulu. The activity method applied is lecture, discussion, and simulation for 10 people from Karang Taruna. Before giving the material, a pretest was carried out, followed by the provision of material on emergencies and simulations/practices. After that, posttest measurements were carried out. The results showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of participants in handling emergencies in the Kemumu tourist area.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis merupakan salah satu penyakit menular secara global. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi terhadap pengetahuan pengawasan menelan obat (PMO) pasien tuberculosis. Desain penelitian "Quasi experiment" dengan rancangan pretest and posttest non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian dilakukan di puskesmas Nusa Indah Kota Bengkulu bulan Maret-April 2022. Hasil uji paired t-test menunjukkan ada perbedaan skor pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi pada kelompok intervensi.

Abstract

The incidence of syncope in the world is estimated at around 12 million cases each year and the incidence of injuries according to research conducted in America is 20.4 cases. First aid is needed to deal with these cases of syncope and minor injuries. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and skills of adolescent red cross members before and after health education and the effect of health education on the knowledge and skills of adolescent red cross members regarding first aid for syncope and minor injuries. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method with one group pre and post-test. The sample in this study were 25 people with a total sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the study before being given health education showed knowledge about syncope in the sufficient category and skills in the less category while for minor injuries the level of knowledge was in the good category and skills in the less category. The results of the study after being given health education the level of knowledge and skills of syncope and minor injuries was in the good category. The conclusion of this study is the results of the Wilcoxon test, knowledge and skills pre and post syncope tests show that the p-value≤α, which means there is a significant difference, meaning that there is an influence of health education in providing attention assistance to syncope. However, the variable knowledge of pre and post minor injuries shows that the p-value> α, which means there is no significant difference, while the skills show that the p-value e <α which means that there is an influence of health education on the first comfort skills of minor injuries in Bengkulu City 9 Public High School.
