Abstract

Education in Indonesia from elementary to college has experienced a change in the learning process caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, one of them is learning in the field of music, which was originally offline and later because of this pandemic learning was carried out online. The government's policy is to carry out all activities at home, in order to cut the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, which is a tough test for music educators. These changes occur because of the community's efforts to adapt to new needs, conditions, and conditions that arise in line with the growth of society. Not finished with the issue of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, now people are faced with back with the issue of society 5.0, objects and all existing social orders integrated with the virtual world. The purpose of this research to determine continuity of music education during the Covid-19 pandemic in the era of the Society 5.0. The method used is literature review, namely using various sources of reference both from research results and from the thoughts of other authors. The results of this conceptual research are expected to provide local wisdom values because music is one of the important elements for society in facing a changing era.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of practical methods to keyboard players in accompanying worship services at church. The problem in this research is how to apply practical methods to keyboard players in accompanying worship in church. In this research, the author used a qualitative method approach. The qualitative method is data collection carried out personally, where the researcher plays an important role in this research to collect data or information related to this research. Results and discussion in this research The practical method is a method that is carried out by explaining while providing training material to the training participants. This method can be said to be good and appropriate in carrying out music training, especially keyboards. Applying this practical method can make it easier for trainees to understand the training material and can also practice it quickly and well. This method also allows teenagers to improve their musicality and improve their skills (psychomotor) in music.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Dalcroze eurhythmics method in violin teaching. Several cases indicate that many students have difficulty understanding the material in violin courses due to the ineffective teaching methods used by lecturers during the learning process. Method: This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which intends to create descriptions of situations or events. Based on data sources, this type of research falls into the category of field research. Results and Discussion: The results and discussion indicate that the Dalcroze method proposed by Jacques Dalcroze requires good musical skills from the educator. Additionally, educators are required to be active and creative in delivering music lessons. As instructors, educators should not only introduce various musical instruments that can be used to play popular songs. Conclusion: Educators should be able to train students in solfeggio to enhance their auditory sensitivity through ear training, thus becoming skilled in reading notes, sight reading, and understanding the upward and downward movements and the length and shortness of each notation beat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran musik dalam pujian penyembahan di Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia (GKII) Jemaat Malinau Baru, Kalimantan Timur. Musik merupakan unsur penting dalam liturgi ibadah Kristen, namun di GKII Malinau Baru ditemukan kendala seperti kurangnya persiapan pelayanan dan minimnya koordinasi antara pemimpin pujian dan pemusik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persiapan pelayanan musik berperan penting dalam meminimalkan kesalahan teknis seperti berhentinya musik di tengah lagu atau ketidaktepatan nada. Persiapan yang matang tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas musikal, tetapi juga menjaga kekhidmatan ibadah dan membantu jemaat terhubung secara emosional dan spiritual dalam penyembahan. Kesimpulannya, musik berfungsi membangun suasana ibadah yang kondusif dan memperkuat pertumbuhan rohani jemaat, sehingga pengelolaan musik gereja perlu dilakukan secara serius dan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Alkitab.

Abstract

Pelayanan musik di gereja bukan sekadar keterampilan memainkan nada atau melantunkan lagu, melainkan panggilan untuk memuliakan Tuhan melalui sikap hati yang benar. Artikel ini membahas konsep pelayanan musik yang berlandaskan karakter Kristus, dengan fokus pada integritas, kerendahan hati, kesetiaan,Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di gereja-gereja kemah injil Indonesia Makassar. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan yang berdampak bukan hanya mengandalkan kualitas teknis, tetapi juga keselarasan hati dengan firman Tuhan. Dengan demikian, menjadi pelayan yang “melayani dengan nada dan hati” berarti menghadirkan musik sebagai sarana penyembahan yang tulus, membangun iman jemaat, dan menjadi kesaksian hidup yang memuliakan Kristus
