Abstract

Islamic religious of education plays an important role in children's lives from an early age. However, in reality there are some children who have not memorized short letters and have not understood the religious materials that have been studied. This study aims to train children to read and memorize letters and religious material through the game of snakes and ladders so that they can be practiced in daily life and to foster children's learning motivation in memorizing letters and religious materials that have been studied. The research was carried out on 25 children at the TPQ Nurul Islam in Kepatihan Tirtoyudo Village. Qualitative research method (cassus study) Data collection is done through observation and interviews. The results showed that the game of snakes and ladders can train and motivate children in learning religion and memorizing short letters in a more fun way. In addition, the application of the snake and ladder game method is followed by PAUD age children enthusiastically and happily

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki setiap siswa untuk dapat menganalisa persoalan matematika dari sudut pandang yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 27 siswa kelas X SMK NU Sunan Ampel Poncokusumo tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Pemilihan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling dari hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis sebanyak 3 subjek. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Jawaban tes siswa dianalisis menggunakan indikator kelancaran, flexibilitas, originalitas dan elaborasi. Kemudian dikategorikan berdasarkan tingkat kategori berpikir kreatif. Hasil penelitian adalah 1) Penilaian tes siswa hanya memenuhi 3 tingkat kategori berpikir kreatif yaitu kreatif, cukup kreatif, dan kurang kreatif. 2) Subjek dengan tingkat kategori kemampuan “kreatif” teridentifikasi memenuhi indikator fleksibilitas dan originalitas dengan baik. Subjek dengan tingkat kategori kemampuan “cukup kreatif” teridentifikasi memenuhi indikator kelancaran dan elaborasi dengan baik. Terakhir subjek dengan tingkat kategori kemampuan “kurang kreatif” teridentifikasi hanya memenuhi indikator originalitas dengan baik. Ketiga subjek yang terpilih belum ada yang memenuhi keempat indikator berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran matematika materi aljabar 85% siswa belum dapat menyelesaikan soal dengan benar. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam proses penyelesaian siswa melakukan beberapa kesalahan. Kesalahan-kesalahan tersebut akan terus terulang jika tidak ada scaffolding (bantuan) untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi aljabar beserta scaffolding yang diberikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Pesantren Raudlatul Ulum Ganjaran pada kelas VII dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Subjek penelitian yakni 3 siswa yakni PA, AJ, dan IWA yang mewakili kategori nilai siswa dan kesalahan yang dilakukan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni tes dan wawancara dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni subjek PA melakukan kesalahan memahami dengan scaffolding berupa restructuring, kesalahan keterampilan proses dengan scaffolding berupa reviewing dan restructuring, kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir dengan scaffolding berupa reviewing. Subjek AJ melakukan kesalahan keterampilan proses dengan scaffolding berupa reviewing dan restructuring, kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir dengan Scaffolding berupa reviewing. Subjek IWA melakukan kesalahan memahami dengan scaffolding berupa explaining dan reviewing, kesalahan transformasi dengan scaffolding berupa reviewing dan restructuring, kesalahan keterampilan proses dengan scaffolding berupa reviewing dan restructuring, dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir dengan scaffolding berupa reviewing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini guru dapat membiasakan siswa dengan memberikan soal yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa agar siswa terbiasa dan lancar dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Selain itu, guru juga dapat membiasakan dengan memberikan scaffolding terhadap siswa yang membutuhkan atau melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan.

Abstract

Often students have difficulty learning mathematics from elementary to college level. Student’s Learning difficulties in mathematics must be addressed soon because it will affect the students' mathematical thinking ability. This study aims to develop the tests that can diagnose which part of student’s learning difficulties, especially on the building curved side space. The development of tests is based on revived Bloom's cognitive rate of taxonomy that is remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating and creating. This study development uses the Plomp development model through three stages: 1) preliminary research, 2) prototyping phase, and 3) assessment phase. Results from the development of diagnostic test instruments meet valid, reliable, and practical. Thus a diagnostic test developed could be used as an alternative in knowing the part of student difficulties.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the ethnomathematical elements embedded in the architecture of the Grand Mosque of Gondanglegi and its potential as a learning resource for geometry in schools. A qualitative approach with ethnographic methods was employed, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research seeks to describe the geometric concepts present in the mosque's architectural cultural elements and how they can be linked to culturally-based mathematics education.The findings reveal that the architecture of the Grand Mosque of Gondanglegi incorporates various geometric shapes such as triangles, rectangles, circles, and rhombuses, evident in elements like domes, minarets, and windows. These elements not only hold aesthetic value but also reflect a blend of Javanese, Madurese, and Middle Eastern cultures. The mosque's architecture serves as a tangible example of applying geometric concepts in real life, which can motivate and enhance students’ understanding in mathematics learning.This study contributes to the development of contextual, culture-based learning by emphasizing the importance of integrating local cultural elements into mathematics teaching. Furthermore, the findings are expected to help preserve Islamic cultural values through education while offering innovative strategies for teachers to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for students.

Abstract

The research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data analysis techniques used in this research are test data analysis techniques and interview data analysis techniques. This study aims to analyze students' creative thinking abilities in solving open-ended problems viewed from their cognitive styles, namely reflective and impulsive. The research was conducted at MTs Ash-Shiddiqi Rejoyoso with 16 students participating. Data collection techniques included MFFT (Matching Familiar Figures Test) to determine cognitive styles and a creative thinking ability test on the topic of two-dimensional figures. two students were selected as research subjects: one reflective students categorized as "very creative" and one impulsive students categorized as "fairly creative." The results showed that reflective students demonstrated better fluency, flexibility, and originality indicators than impulsive students. Reflective students were able to provide more varied solutions, accurate calculations, and produce unique shapes. In contrast, impulsive students tended to rush in solving problems, presented fewer solution variations, and displayed lower creativity in generating novel ideas. These findings suggest that cognitive style significantly influences students' creative thinking processes. This study is expected to serve as a reference for teachers to design learning strategies that can accommodate students' cognitive differences and encourage optimal creative potential development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar anak usia dini di salah satu lembaga PAUD di Desa Gondanglegi Kulon, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teori yang digunakan meliputi konsep pola asuh dari Hurlock, yang mencakup tipe otoriter, demokratis, dan permisif, serta teori prestasi belajar yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 38 orang tua dan anak yang diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis dengan uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan nilai r = 0,315 dengan signifikansi p = 0,054. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang rendah antara pola asuh orang tua dan prestasi belajar anak, namun hubungan tersebut tidak signifikan secara statistik. Meskipun demikian, secara praktis hasil ini tetap penting dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini, karena pola asuh yang demokratis dan suportif terbukti berperan dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif dan sosial-emosional anak. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang optimal bagi anak usia dini
