Abstract

The purpose of this service is to improve welfare through community and environmental empowerment in the use of wakaf. The empowerment activities that were carried out started from the observation of wakaf then continued with TPQ teacher training, traveling burdah and procurement of trash bins in various locations in the village of Sumberbening. The targets of this empowerment activity are the community of Sumberbening village, Islamic dormitory students, TPQ (informal institution for learning Al Qur’an) teachers and all members of community in Sumberbening. There are several stages in this program including planning, observing, implementing and evaluating. This empowerment activity is carried out in the process of the PKLI. The success of the implementation of this service is around 85%, because there are several work programs that have not been implemented. The program that has not been implemented is wakaf for reading books at the village. The evaluating of this service implementation is periodic assistance and increase partnerships with other parties that support the planned work program.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching aids in learning mathematics using the systematic literature review (SLR) method. This method involves the systematic collection and analysis of relevant studies. This study sought to answer several 4 key questions. The results of the SLR showed that teaching aids, including physical manipulatives, visuals and interactive technologies, significantly improved students' primary learning of mathematics learning outcomes. The studies reviewed show that 1) teaching aids are used to avoid communication errors, facilitate the learning process, arouse students' interest and motivation, and present abstract mathematical concepts in a concrete form. 2) Teaching aids can be an effective bridge to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes. 3) The importance of concrete experience and active learning in learning mathematics. 4) Teaching aids that are often used in the learning process at secondary school level are boards or cards made of cardboard and polystyrene. These are used to visualise various mathematical concepts such as flat shapes, quadratic equations and trigonometry. It supports project-based and collaborative learning and improves pupils' engagement, understanding and learning outcomes in mathematics. The conclusion of this review confirms the importance of teaching aids in the learning of mathematics in secondary schools.

Abstract

Islamic religious of education plays an important role in children's lives from an early age. However, in reality there are some children who have not memorized short letters and have not understood the religious materials that have been studied. This study aims to train children to read and memorize letters and religious material through the game of snakes and ladders so that they can be practiced in daily life and to foster children's learning motivation in memorizing letters and religious materials that have been studied. The research was carried out on 25 children at the TPQ Nurul Islam in Kepatihan Tirtoyudo Village. Qualitative research method (cassus study) Data collection is done through observation and interviews. The results showed that the game of snakes and ladders can train and motivate children in learning religion and memorizing short letters in a more fun way. In addition, the application of the snake and ladder game method is followed by PAUD age children enthusiastically and happily

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to demonstrate an increase in the learning outcomes of fifth grade mathematics students on volume material using the Guided Inquiry learning model. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were 22 fifth grade students from SDN 3 Sungai Besar. Data collection methods using observation, documentation and tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The research data showed that there was an increase in mathematics learning outcomes in students after the action was taken. In Cycle I, the average student learning outcomes were 64 with 27% learning completeness. After using the Guided Inquiry Learning Model in Cycle II, the average student mathematics learning outcome was 71 with 73% learning completeness because there were still students who were not complete. After using the guided inquiry learning model in Cycle III, the average student math learning outcome increased to 81 and all student scores were declared complete, resulting in 100% learning completeness. These results indicate that the guided inquiry model can improve students' math learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi matematika menjadi kemampuan utama yang harus dimiliki siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal model HOTS. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Darun Najah, Krebet, Bululawang, Malang. Penelitian ini termasuk deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan matematika serta indikator kemampuan literasi matematika siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melalui tes dan wawancara. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kemampuan literasi matematis siswa masih belum optimal, dikarenakan belum ada siswa yang memenuhi semua indikator kemampuan literasi matematika. Siswa kemampuan tinggi dan sedang dapat memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan literasi matematika sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Siswa dengan kemampuan rendah hanya dapat memenuhi satu indikator kemampuan literasi matematika sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Guru dapat membiasakan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal model HOTS yang bervaiasi.

Abstract

Pelatihan Pemanfaatan AI dalam Pembelajaran untuk guru SD/MI membawa inovasi ke dalam dunia pendidikan dasar dengan memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam konteks pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan kepada guru SD/MI di Kalipare terkait pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intellogence (AI) dalam pembelajaran. Tahapan pengabdian dilakukan mulai dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pendampingan, pelaporan dan tahap refleksi dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh bahwa pemanfataan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran untuk guru-guru SD/MI di Kalipare dapat membantu para guru dalam menyelesaikan berbagai tugas perangkat pembelajaran dan tugas-tugas guru yang lain. Pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi AI telah memberikan dampak positif yang nyata pada pemahaman dan keterampilan guru SD/MI dalam mengintegrasikan AI dalam pembelajaran, membawa perubahan positif dalam pendekatan mereka terhadap proses pembelajaran. Para guru-guru SD/MI di Kalipare dapat terus mengembangkan dan mengeksplor pengetahuannya tentang pemanfaatan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran, karena penggunaan AI pada era saat ini tidak dapat dihindari lagi, sehingga para guru harus mengikuti.

Para guru-guru SMP/MTs di Kalipare dapat terus mengembangkan dan mengeksplor pengetahuannya tentang pemanfaatan teknologi AI dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, karena penggunaan AI pada era saat ini tidak dapat dihindari lagi, sehingga para guru harus mengikuti.

Abstract

This study describes the profile of students' mathematical reasoning ability in solving arithmetic rows and series problems. Based on the results of observations and interviews with the mathematics teacher of class X SMK Ma'wataibin Pagelaran Malang, information was obtained that 83% of students in the class tended not to be able to conclude the answer. This descriptive research uses a qualitative approach. The sample of this research is 19 students of class X SMK Ma'wataibin Pagelaran. They then selected one each in the high, medium, and low-level categories. Then, interviews were conducted with each subject to explore deeper information. The test instrument used is 1 question that contains four indicators of mathematical reasoning ability. The test results obtained that students in the high mathematical reasoning ability category amounted to 7 students, with a percentage of 36.85%. Students in the moderate mathematical reasoning ability category amounted to 8 students, with a rate of 42.10%. Students in the low mathematical reasoning ability category amounted to 4 students, with a rate of 21.05%. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is shown that high-category students fulfill four indicators of reasoning ability according to their abilities. Medium-category students correctly fulfill three indicators of mathematical reasoning ability: writing conjectures, doing work, and providing reasons/evidence. Low-category students only fulfill one indicator of mathematical reasoning ability, namely writing conjectures.
