Abstract

This paper aims to provide a review of the evaluation and optimization of the water pipeline system for the community. This paper consists of two parts, namely the evaluation of the design of the installed transmission pipeline and the optimization of the distribution pipeline design to the public. The method that has been used in previous research is the basis for discussion. Evaluation and optimization methods are discussed using software to get the most suitable method.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the world of education, particularly in creating more interactive and immersive learning media. One technology that has great potential in supporting the teaching and learning process is Augmented Reality (AR). This Community Service activity is carried out by the Faculty of Engineering and Maritime Technology (FTTK) of Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH) at Bintan Private Elementary School in Tanjungpinang City, with the aim of introducing the concept and utilization of AR technology as interactive learning media to teachers and students. The activities include socialization, demonstrations of AR use, as well as discussion and evaluation sessions. The results of the activities show high enthusiasm from the participants, as well as an increased understanding of the use of AR in the context of learning, particularly in the field of shipping that requires the visualization of technical objects. Although there are limitations in infrastructure, this activity successfully encouraged initial initiatives in the integration of innovative technology in the school environment. This event also serves as a means to strengthen the role of UMRAH in supporting the development of local education based on technology

Abstract

The development of an automatic hydroponic system in the Senggarang area, Tanjungpinang began with regional observation and interviews at the Senggarang Village Office to identify existing problems and potentials. The purpose of developing hydroponic plants with automatic water fillers is to reduce public expenditure on buying food, especially vegetable ingredients, and minimize places to grow crops. The method used in the development of hydroponic plants with automatic water filling uses a descriptive method. The implementation of an automatic water filling system using Arduino Uno, relays, water pumps, and ultrasonic sensors has shown satisfactory results. The system works consistently by turning off the pump when the water level reaches 2-3 cm and turning it back on when the water level drops to 11 cm. The test results showed a stable reading with the pump off at a distance of 2.07 cm and on at a range of 11.17-11.63 cm prove that the system can work effectively without manual supervision.

Abstract

Tingginya pertumbuhan penduduk pada suatu wilayah mempunyai dampak yang besar terhadap kebutuhan air bersih. Kebutuhan akan air bersih dari tahun ke tahun semakin meningkat, sedangkan pasokan air baku untuk air bersih semakin rnenurun baik dari segi kualitas maupun segi kuantitas. Pipa distribusi untuk rnengalirkan air dari Instalasi PDAM 3  Ilir ke kecamatan Ilir Timur II Palembang khususnya wilayah pengaliran Bambang Utoyo sampai saat ini belum ada peningkatan atau pemasangan baru. Maka perlu dianalisis sistem jaringan distribusi apakah pipa yang sudah ada dan kapasitas pompa yang tersedia masih dapat menyediakan suplai air bersih untuk wilayah pengaliran Bambang Utoyo. Selain dianalisis perlu adanya analisis altematif sistern distribusi air ke wilayah pengaliran Bambang Utoyo. Dari hasil penelitian total kebutuhan air bersih rata-rata pada wilayah pengaliran Bambang Utoyo adalah 1.777,240 m³/hari.   Ini menandakan bahwa air bersih yang harus disuplai   dari PDAM 3 Ilir perhari harus bisa mencukupi kebutuhan yang diminta. Dari pembacaan meteran pada meteran induk diperoleh rata-rata  debit yang  dialirkan adalah  1.656,685   m³/hari.  Hal  ini menandakan debit yang dialirkan oleh PDAM 3 Ilir belum mencukupi kebutuhan yang ada. Berdasarkan basil simulasi program EPANET 2.0 kapasitas sistem distribusi eksisting yang ada masih belum memenuhi,   Seperti diameter pipa yang belum dimaksimalkan sehingga masih terdapat tekanan yang negatif. Perlu adanya penggantian pipa yaitu pembesaran diameter pada pipa. Agar suplai air untuk wilayah tersebut dapat terpenuhi.
