Abstract

This research aims to find out whether animated video media has a significant influence on science learning outcomes regarding the water cycle in class V students at SD GMIT Kuanino 3, Kupang City. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental Design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 11 people. The research results prove that there is a significant influence between animated video media on student learning outcomes. This is proven by the difference in students' completeness scores before being given treatment (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest). There were 2 students who completed the pretest, while 11 students completed the posttest, so it can be said that the use of animated video media regarding the water cycle can improve student learning outcomes. The normality test of learning outcomes from the pretest-posttest obtained a significant value of 0.200 for the pretest and 0.127 for the posttest > 0.05 so that the data was normally distributed, the homogeneity test results showed (sig) Levene's of 0.438 > 0.05 so the data obtained was homogeneous. Apart from that, testing the hypothesis with the t test using SPSS version 25 obtained a significance value (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, animated video media has a significant influence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui sifat elektronik grafit berdasarkan kurva band structure dan density of states menggunakan metode density functional theory yang diimplementasikan dengan perangkat lunak Quantum Espresso. Sebelum melakukan perhitungan dilakukan studi konvergensi energy cut-off dan k-point. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan energy cut-off 125 Ry dan k-point 30 30 30. Dari kurva band structure, maka sifat elektronik grafit adalah semikonduktor dengan energi band gap 0,01085552 eV. Sedangkan, berdasarkan kurva density of states, maka diperoleh density of states yang tinggi pada 2 eV di dekat tingkat Fermi. Kurva density of states dengan spin-up dan spin-down menunjukkan bahwa grafit merupakan material non-magnetik.

Abstract

In the learning process, teachers need to provide learning resources that can increase students' interest in learning. The learning resources that are widely used today are textbooks provided at school and also e-books given by teachers to students for independent learning at home. However, textbooks and e-books have exactly the same appearance and are static, giving the impression of being less attractive. The purpose of this study was to produce an e-module assisted by liveworksheets that is valid and effective in increasing the interest in learning of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kupang. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model (design, development, implementation, evaluation). At the analysis stage, it was found that students need learning resources that can increase interest in learning, so at the development stage the researcher developed an e-module assisted by liveworksheets while simultaneously conducting a validity test. Furthermore, at the implementation stage, an effectiveness test was carried out by class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kupang. This states that the e-module assisted by liveworksheets is valid and effective in increasing students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Kristen Anugerah Haukoto on the topic Aku dan Kebutuhanku, which failed to meet the Minimum Mastery Criterion (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal, KKM) of 75, serve as the background for this study. The primary objective is to improve student learning outcomes in IPAS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted over two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques included observations of teacher and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests. The study involved 23 students, comprising 8 boys and 15 girls. Results showed a significant increase in learning mastery, from 8.69% in the pre-cycle phase to 30.43% in the first cycle, and reaching 86.95% in the second cycle. These findings affirm that the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in enhancing student learning outcomes on the topic Aku dan Kebutuhanku. The study underscores the importance of teachers mastering instructional models to guide students in solving problems actively and purposefully.
