Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of attitudes and anxiety, and level of anxiety that experienced by students in the listening class on students’ of English Study Program at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach of survey type. The sample in this study was the second semester students’ of English education with a total of 47 students’. The research data was taken using a questionnaire with a total of 28 items related to attitudes and anxiety. The attitude questionnaire was divided into 2 categories, positive and negative. The result of data analysis in positive statements, the average score is 3.61 (72.1%). Likewise with negative statements, the average score is 3.48 (70%). For students’ anxiety levels, based on the results of data analysis, 29 students (62%) categorized into "relaxed" and 13 students’ (28%) are "very relaxed", and only 5 students (11%) belong to the moderate level of anxiety with the predicate "Midly Anxious". Based on these results, it can be concluded that the attitude students on the listening class is positive and students level of anxiety are tend to be low and the type of students anxiety are debilitative or positive.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini fokus pada peningkatan kapasitas Desa Padang Pelasan melalui program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis masjid di Masjid Al Mujahidin. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah utama seperti rendahnya keterlibatan dalam keagamaan, terbatasnya kesempatan pendidikan, pengabaian terhadap lingkungan, dan tantangan kesehatan masyarakat, khususnya stunting. Kegiatannya meliputi mengajar di TPQ, pelajaran bahasa Arab, pemeliharaan masjid, kajian agama perempuan, dan inisiatif lingkungan seperti daur ulang dan penanaman sayuran. Sasaran program kesehatan adalah penurunan stunting melalui posyandu, pelatihan kesehatan, dan imunisasi. Kegiatan sosial melibatkan kolaborasi dengan perangkat desa dan kelompok pemuda. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan masyarakat, peningkatan partisipasi pendidikan dan keagamaan, praktik lingkungan yang lebih baik, dan kemajuan dalam kesadaran kesehatan. Pendekatan holistik ini menggarisbawahi peran sentral masjid dalam mendorong pembangunan desa yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research examines the role of the Nurul Iman Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) in Sari Mulyo Village in forming a civilized, moral and characterful generation. Islamic education at the elementary level, especially through non-formal institutions such as TPQ, has a crucial role in forming children's character, especially in rural areas which face limited access to formal education. TPQ Nurul Iman focuses on teaching reading and understanding the Koran as well as applying Islamic values in everyday life. This research uses a qualitative comparative approach with data collection methods in the form of direct observation and interviews with teachers and children at TPQ. The research results show that TPQ Nurul Iman not only functions as a center for religious learning but also as a center for character development. Even though it is faced with challenges such as limited facilities and teaching staff and low interest from children, TPQ still makes a significant contribution to the formation of character and morals of children in the village. This research aims to explore the contribution of TPQ in religious education and character development and provide insight for future research and implementation of non-formal education.
