Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the business process of product purchase and product receipt on small and medium retail enterprises. The most of problem that appeared on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) was lack of awareness to fix and improve the business process, because the appropriate business process could help the development of organization. The illustration of business process used Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). BPMN could really help the making of business process to be understood easier by the users and could be analyzed, so it produced improvement suggestions on the business process in order to achieve business effectiveness. This research was a qualitative research, which the research data was collected through observation and interview techniques in PO Dolopo Grosir which was one of the biggest wholesale shops in Madiun District. The research result referred the deficiency on the business process of product purchase and product receipt in PO Dolopo Grosir. The deficiencies on this business process could be risky to cause problems such as error of purchase decision, forgetfulness of product return, and less strict checking standard on product receipt process.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan dalam rangka memberikan informasi dan pendampingan tentang mekanisme sistem simpan pinjam Koperasi pada ibu-ibu PKK RW 19 Kelurahan Mojolangu Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kotamadya Malang. Mekanisme yang disampaikan tentang perannya sebagai anggota koperasi  dalam pengoperasionalan kegiatan koperasi di bidang simpan pinjam.  Secara umum kegiatan PKM ini merupakan upaya menumbuh kembangkan kesadaran emansipatoris dalam ikut berperan mensejahterakan seluruh anggota koperasi. Meskipun masa pandemi, kegiatan ini bisa tutorial secara langsung di Balai RW. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan ialah memberikan pre test terkait pemahaman sistem simpan pinjam koperasi sebelum dilakukan pendampingan. Setelah kegiatan pendampingan selesai dilakukan post test untuk mengetahui keberhasilan sejauhmana kegiatan pendampingan tersebut berhasil.  Hasil evaluasi setelah pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, manfaat yang besar dan kemampuan peserta untuk melanjutkan hasil pelatihan untuk di implementasikan dalam operasional koperasi ibu PKK RW 19.

Abstract

The application of standard operating procedures on the micro, small, and medium enterprise retail industry was critical since this type of enterprise employs the majority of national workforces and has become the most significant sector in Indonesia's economic growth. The purpose of this study was to investigate the business process and develop standard operating procedures for the debt payment process at one of the representative retailers in East Java Province, Indonesia, PO Dolopo Grosir. This study was part of a descriptive and qualitative study. Interviews and observations were also used to obtain data. According to the research, the development of a business process diagram would be the standard operating procedure during the debt payment process. Business Process Modeling develops this SOP creation activity further by adding several related artifacts such as data and business rules. The business process model modeled with BPMN can be used by parties who understand technical matters to be translated into information system needs.
