Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate how and why Javanesse language has impact on to English Pronunciation Error? The design of the research was a case study in the form of qualitative research using the principle of contrastive analysis to analyze the data. The participants were chosen regarding to Javanese native speaker who learn English for the foreign language in semester three and five of English Education Department in STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung. Recording pronunciation test and interview were used to collect the data. Phonetics transcription online were used to find the error and transcribe it into phonetics symbol. As the findings, this research focuses on 50% errors. Javanese committed errors on /d/, /b/, /p/, /g/, stressing words at the middle, last. Morever, their problem in long vowel, voiced consonant, stressing word at the first, middle, and last, and falling and rising intonation as the result of their Javanese language. Moreover, the error were also influenced by age. Despite of the impact of mother tongue to English pronunciation was strong enough. Some method and technique can be applied to reduce students‟ problem in pronouncing English words.

Abstract

The application of limited face-to-face learning is a new signification for the learning process after more than a year of learning activities being fully implemented online. However, the application has not been a solution for students who spend more time studying independently at home than at school. The students need effective learning media based on their needs and easy online access. Moreover, they also need an interactive learning media to make learning process effectively. This study aims to produce a digital module on the set materials. The digital module development process is carried out through the ADDIE stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The development resulted in a digital module on the set of materials that had gone through the validator stage from a team of experts with a result of 86.45%, it means that the product is suitable to use. In addition, the digital module has also gone through the pilot phase on students and received a very good response of 50.19%, and a good response of 26.9%. Analysis of student learning achievement shows that the use of digital modules has an impact of 84.37% of students that getting scores suffiecient with the minimum criteria of mastery learning (KKM) . Abstract

Technology adaptation is not an easy thing for teachers to do with various tasks and high performance demands. This research aims to develop an e-book for teachers that has the characteristics of being easy to operate and distribute to various media or platforms, contains many files with content, and is supported by video tutorials. The method used is the ADDIE R&D model, with stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study amounted to 30 teachers. The results of this study showed a good response to the e-book in the aspects of interest and benefits, with an average value of 4.18. This means that the e-book developed is considered feasible by teachers to be used as a guide in preparing digital learning media and managing online learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru serta dosen dalam memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk penguatan literasi dan numerasi pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya pemahaman pendidik mengenai konsep dasar AI dan minimnya keterampilan dalam mengintegrasikannya ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan workshop, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi dengan melibatkan 30 peserta dari Kabupaten Pringsewu. Metode pelatihan mencakup ceramah interaktif, diskusi, demonstrasi perangkat AI, serta praktik pembuatan soal otomatis, pengoperasian chatbot pembelajaran, dan penggunaan analisis teks berbasis AI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, serta tercapainya seluruh target program, termasuk tersusunnya modul pelatihan dan terbentuknya jejaring akademik antarpendidik. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 90% peserta menilai kegiatan sangat bermanfaat, sedangkan 10% menilai luar biasa. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital pendidik dan mendukung implementasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Kesimpulannya, edukasi AI berkontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan literasi, numerasi, dan kesiapan pendidik menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran di era digital.
