Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out that the application of Think Pair Share learning can improve learning outcomes for the subject of Introduction to Accounting for Class X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran for academic year 2019/2020. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were all students of class X AK 1 10 SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran of the academic year 2019/2020 as many as 36 students. The results showed that the mastery of learning outcomes increased by 30%. These results are shown in the first cycle by 61% (22 students) and in the second cycle by 86% (31 students). This is because students give a positive response to the tasks given by the teacher in a way that is done and accounted for and is also active in responding to the work of other groups. It can be concluded that the application of Think Pair Share learning can improve learning outcomes for Introduction to Accounting for Class X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran of the academic year 2019/2020. Keywords: balance sheet report; financial statements; Think Pair Share  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Pengantar Akuntansi Kelas X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X AK 1 10 SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 sebanyak 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar meningkat sebesar 30%. Hasil tersebut ditunjukkan pada siklus I sebesar 61% (22 siswa) dan pada siklus II sebesar 86% (31 siswa). Hal tersebut disebabkan karena siswa memberi respon yang positif terhadap tugas yang diberikan oleh guru dengan cara dikerjakan dan dipertanggung-jawabkan dan aktif juga dalam menanggapi hasil kerja kelompok lainnya. Dapat disipulkan penerapan pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Pengantar Akuntansi Kelas X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Kata kunci: laporan keuangan; laporan neraca; Think Pair Share

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Wordwall, an interactive learning tool, in enhancing students' learning motivation in Class XII.G at SMAN 1 Pinrang. The research was conducted using a classroom action research (CAR) methodology, consisting of two cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, classroom observations, and student questionnaires to assess the impact of Wordwall on students' motivation and academic performance. The results showed a significant improvement in student engagement, participation, and motivation, with students actively involved in learning activities and showing greater enthusiasm in the classroom. The use of Wordwall increased students' intrinsic motivation by providing an enjoyable and dynamic learning environment. These findings suggest that integrating interactive learning tools like Wordwall can foster a more engaging classroom atmosphere and improve learning outcomes.
