Abstract

Independence is very important for early childhood, therefore to foster early childhood independence is greatly influenced by parenting patterns, while in Kober Al-Hikmah there are several working mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the parenting patterns applied by working mothers in shaping the independence of early childhood. The type of research used by researchers is a qualitative method using a case study approach. The subjects of this study were three working mothers who had early childhood children aged 5-6 years in Kober Al-Hikmah. In this study, researchers used data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through several stages including 1. investigating data, 2. presenting data, and 3. Drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the parenting patterns applied by three working mothers in shaping the independence of early childhood by providing attention, providing examples and good behavior and discipline will shape the independence of early childhood

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the level of validity of developing learning devices with the CBL model assisted by PhET media. The method used is the research and development method. The results of the initial study show that the critical thinking ability of students at Waru Barat 4 State Elementary School in Pamekasan in science subjects is still low, as evidenced by students' difficulty in analyzing. HOTS questions are given by teachers because the learning activities carried out at school tend to be rote learning. Therefore, the researcher developed a CBL learning tool with the help of PhET media which includes lesson plans, teaching modules, student activity sheets, assessment sheets, and textbooks that can improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to obtain a valid learning tool. Based on the results of the validity test conducted with three education experts, it was found that the learning tool developed met the valid category so that it could be implemented to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan baru bagi orang tua khususnya yang memiliki anak pada periode Gen-Alpha. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kober Darul Falah, adapun metode comumunity based research digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan secara luring dengan pendekatan FGD (Focus Group Discussion), Kajian Pustaka, dan sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak antara lain yaitu tim pengabdian, orang tua, guru, dan kepala sekolah. Tahapan dibagi kedalam beberapa rangkaian, diantaranya pada tahapan pertama adalah Tim Pengadian Masyarakat memberikan materi tentang pola asuh secara umum, dan pola asuh ideal yang bisa digunakan untuk Gen-Alpha terkait tantangan dan solusinya dengan dengan peserta orang tua dan guru PAUD. Tahapan kedua melaksanakan FGD (Forum Group Dicussion), pada tahap FGD terjadi diskusi antara pemateri dan peserta terkait dengan permasalahan dalam melaksanakan dan menerapkan pola asuh yang ideal untuk anak terutama Gen-Alpha. Tahapan Ketiga Tim Pengabdian melakukan diskusi dan pengamatan kepada orang tua dan guru PAUD terkait dengan pola asuh yang sudah di terapkan dan dilaksanakan. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukan adanya pengetahuan baru bagi orang tua dan guru PAUD tentang petingnya menerapkan pola asuh yang ideal dan sesuai bagi anak Gen-Alpha.
