Abstract

This paper discusses the leadership relations between men and women in Islam, especially in the context of qiwāmah based on the views of Muhammad Sa'id Ramadhān al-Būthī in the book al-Mar'ah bain Thughyān al-Nidzām al-Gharbiy wa Lathā'if al-Tasyri' al-Rabbaniy. The purpose of this study is to examine in depth the meaning of qiwāmah according to al-Būthī and how this concept is applied in the relationship between husband and wife. This study uses a qualitative method by analysing the main text of the book, as well as other literature related to the issue of qiwāmah. With a moderate and comprehensive tafsir approach, al-Būthī interprets 'qiwāmah' as the husband's responsibility to protect and nurture the family, not domination over the wife. The husband's leadership is based on his physical advantages and his role as breadwinner, but without demeaning the wife. In essence, wives still have the right to work and contribute economically as long as the work does not burden them.

Abstract

Any educational level needs to share and practice religious moderation. Additionally, there have been several mishaps in this digital age that call for religious moderation and its ideals such as intolerance, radicalism, extremism, and or degrading spirituality. This study examined the most effective methods used by the religious moderation campaign educators after their initial introduction by MoRA from September 2021 up to now to encounter peace, foster nationalism, and improve students’ spirituality at one Madrasah in Malang Regency.  In-depth interviews and documentation were used in this qualitative study to gather information from the researcher's experiences. The findings indicate that: 1) encountering peace through inserting the values of religious moderation in madrasah. Such as daily activities in the madrasah, discussing current issues, or winning numerous prizes to boost students' motivation, performance, and understanding of the values of religious moderation 2) fostering nationalism faced possibilities and obstacles. 3)Additionally, improving spirituality by creating them as the Moderator Agent. Meanwhile, the digital campaign is essential to spread positive news, encounter peace, stop hoaxes and hate speech, and understand the pressing issues. The findings suggest that this campaign has a favorable influence on educators and students, such as increasing nationalism and tolerance. Setiap jenjang pendidikan perlu berbagi dan mempraktikkan moderasi beragama. Terlebih lagi, di era digital ini telah terjadi berbagai insiden yang menuntut pentingnya moderasi beragama dan nilai-nilainya, seperti intoleransi, radikalisme, ekstremisme, dan penurunan spiritualitas. Penelitian ini mengkaji metode paling efektif yang digunakan oleh para pendidik dalam kampanye moderasi beragama setelah diperkenalkan pertama kali oleh Kementerian Agama sejak September 2021 hingga sekarang, dalam rangka menciptakan kedamaian, menumbuhkan nasionalisme, dan meningkatkan spiritualitas siswa di salah satu madrasah di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) menciptakan kedamaian dilakukan melalui penyisipan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di madrasah, seperti dalam kegiatan harian, diskusi isu-isu terkini, atau perolehan berbagai penghargaan guna meningkatkan motivasi, kinerja, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai moderasi beragama; 2) upaya menumbuhkan nasionalisme dihadapkan pada berbagai peluang dan tantangan; 3) peningkatan spiritualitas dilakukan dengan menjadikan siswa sebagai Agen Moderator. Sementara itu, kampanye digital sangat penting untuk menyebarkan berita positif, menciptakan kedamaian, menghentikan hoaks dan ujaran kebencian, serta memahami isu-isu aktual. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kampanye ini memberikan pengaruh positif bagi para pendidik dan siswa, seperti meningkatnya nasionalisme dan toleransi.

Abstract

This study examines the professionalism of Islamic Education (PAI)teachers as a pillar of character education in the era of globalization.The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with aliterature review method, analyzing various sources, including journalarticles, books, and official documents. The findings highlight that PAIteachers play a crucial role in shaping students’ character throughmoral education, role modeling, and guidance. However, challengessuch as the rapid advancement of technology, cultural shifts, and thelack of teacher training hinder the effective implementation of charactereducation. To address these challenges, teachers must integrateinnovative teaching strategies, utilize digital learning tools, andcollaborate with parents and the community. This study underscoresthe necessity for continuous teacher development to ensure thatcharacter education remains relevant and effective in the face ofglobalization.

Abstract

Youth life is closely related to spiritual activity. The phenomenon that is still encountered is Hubbu Ilahi, or the love attitude of Allah SWT. This phenomenon is presumed that adolescents only state and do not know the consequences of their attitudes. So, this study aims to determine the perceptions of today's adolescents on the phenomenon of Hubbu Ilahi. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a survey research method. This study used a purposive random sampling technique to 39 adolescents. Data collection used a questionnaire with the google form platform. Then, the data were analyzed using: data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. The results showed that adolescent respondents stated the consistency of love of the Quran, love of Rasulullah (SAW), love of the Prophet's Sunnah, and love of the Akhirat life. However, the busyness of the world blocks the proven proof of love. The analysis concluded that only 7.7% of adolescents fit Hubbu Ilahi's criteria.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 outbreak, sexual violence in Indonesia has risen. Sexual abuse is prevalent even within the realm of education. Many incidents of sexual assault are reported within the higher education sector. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology published Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 30/2021 (Permendikbud 30/2021) on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education in an effort to prevent sexual violence on campus. This regulation's issuance has become a popular topic of discussion on social media. Twitter is one of the social media platforms where opinions are expressed. The publication of Permendikbud 30/2021 elicited a variety of views, from those who supported the rule to those who did not. This study's objective is to categorize tweets about Permendikbud 30/2021. Bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM) was utilized to classify data in this study. The accuracy values are 87%, the precision values are 82%, and the recall values are 96% based on the findings of the analysis comparing training data of 80% to testing data of 20%.
