Abstract

Business is a commercial field of business that is in great demand. One of them is a business in the field of fashion or fashion. Fashion or fashion is something that is in demand by the wider community with an attraction to the way, pattern, and even decoration in the form of clothing, levis, trousers, and other fashions. The owner of the Haji Muhri shop is one of the people who are interested in doing business in the fashion world. The shop owner will set up a new store branch in the East Kotawaringin area, Central Kalimantan. The researcher offers owners to use a combination of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and the Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), as a decision support system. Decision support system is a system that has the ability to perform an analysis of the decision-making model. Decision support system (DSS) is also a system with alternative processes that have a specific purpose, meaning that this system can be used in situations that are even very rare. The combination of methods between SAW and TOPSIS serves to produce an optimal decision based on alternatives and predetermined criteria. This study uses 7 locations as alternatives and 9 criteria. In this study, the alternative locations chosen were Mentawa Baru Hulu, Mentawa Baru Hilir, Ketapang, Sawahan, Baamang Hulu, Baamang Tengah, and Baamang Hilir, which resulted in Mentawa Baru Hilir with a value of 0.751 or 75.1% as the highest value from the location. other calculations that have been made to be the best alternative for the location of the new branch of the Haji Muhri Fashion Store

Abstract

Accreditation is an important mechanism for improving the quality of early childhood education services. Changes in accreditation instruments require education units to understand differences in assessment components and characteristics. This community service program aimed to assist early childhood education institutions in adapting to the latest accreditation instrument through a comparative analysis of the previous and current assessment characteristics. The activity was conducted on 8–9 July 2026 in collaboration with HIMPAUDI of East Kotawaringin Regency and involved 33 participants consisting of early childhood education principals and teachers. The activity used a Participatory Action Research approach through needs identification, discussion, mentoring, comparative analysis, question-and-answer sessions, and reflection. The first day focused on understanding the previous accreditation instrument, while the second day focused on the latest instrument, particularly the components, items, indicators, sub-indicators, and assessment characteristics. The results showed that participants gained a clearer understanding of accreditation as a quality improvement instrument rather than merely an administrative requirement. Participants also recognized the relationship between accreditation assessment and the implementation of quality educational services in their respective institutions. The activity indicates that comparative and participatory mentoring can support the adaptation of early childhood education institutions to changes in accreditation instruments and strengthen their readiness to improve quality continuously.

Abstract

SMP Negeri Satu Atap 3 Hanau is located in a disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) area and faces limitations in access to information and understanding of accreditation based on the 2024 Accreditation Instrument (IA2024). This community service program aimed to improve teachers’ understanding of school accreditation and strengthen the school quality culture. The partner was SMP Negeri Satu Atap 3 Hanau involving five teachers as participants. The methods included needs assessment, coordination, material preparation, socialization, discussion and question-answer sessions, evaluation, and recommendation development. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-activity understanding surveys. The results showed an increase in participants’ average understanding from 69.3% to 95.7%. Improvements were observed in understanding accreditation procedures, management of Main Documents (DU), completion of Assessee Performance Descriptions (DKA), supporting evidence management, and performance-based accreditation implementation. The program also enhanced the school’s readiness in managing accreditation documents and strengthened stakeholders’ commitment to developing a sustainable quality culture.
