Abstract

Abstract: Architecture is a manifestation of cultural identity that involves a cultural process and has an internal nature. In Javanese society, the knowledge of building houses is carried out through traditions and simple methods. Traditional Javanese houses have many variations in roof forms, with the Joglo roof drawing particular interest and encouraging deeper exploration into traditional Javanese architecture. However, many people still lack an understanding of how the traditional Javanese roof affects indoor temperature. It is important to understand the factors that influence the choice of roofing materials and the shape of the Joglo roof in relation to indoor thermal comfort. Additionally, identifying the research landscape related to this topic is essential. This study uses a systematic literature review by collecting several journals related to roofing materials, Joglo roofs, indoor thermal comfort, and traditional Javanese house comfort. The aim is to analyze research conducted over the past ten years. The results explain how the realization of Javanese houses and their spatial and formal meanings are deeply rooted in culture. Over time, the development and use of various roofing materials and forms have become influential factors in determining indoor temperature, as seen in studies from the last decade. Keyword: Joglo Roof 1, Comfort Of Roofing Material Type 2, Indoor Thermal Comfort 3 Abstrak: Arsitektur merupakan perwujudan identitas budaya yang memiliki proses kultural dan bersifat internal. Masyarakat jawa dalam pengetahuan membangun rumah dilakukan dengan tradisi, dan cara sederhana. Rumah tradisional jawa memiliki banyak bentuk varian atap Joglo membuat minat dalam memperluas pengetahuan dibidang arsitektur tradisional jawa menjadi diminati oleh masyarakat sampai sekarang. Namun sayangnya banyak yang kurang memahami bagaimana atap rumah tradisional Jawa itu bekerja terhadap suhu ruang dalam. Pentingnya mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi pada penggunaan jenis material atap dan bentuk atap joglo terhadap suhu ruang dalam. Serta bagaimana peta penelitian yang kaitanya dengan penelitian ini. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan systematic literature review dengan mengumpulkan beberapa jurnal terkait dengan judul kenyamanan material atap, atap Joglo, kenyamanan suhu ruang dalam, dan kenyamanan rumah tradisional Jawa. Bertujuan agar bisa mempelajari penelitian dari rentan penelitian terkait. Hasil penelitian ini dalam pembelajaran literatur yang sudah dilakukan sesuai kata kunci dalam rentan waktu sepuluh tahun terakhir. Secara khusus menjelaskan kaitanya proses perwujudan pada rumah jawa serta makna makna yang terkandung didalamnya, dari ruang hingga bentuknya. Pada prosesnya perkembangan jenis material atap serta penggunannya pada beberapa varian bentuk atap menjadi faktor yang berpengaruh kaitanya dengan suhu ruang dalam pada penelitian sepuluh tahun terakhir. Abstract

The development of astronomy in the golden age era began with the discovery of astrolabes and predicting lunar and solar eclipses, the movement of stars, prayer times, determining the calendar system, and determining the direction of the Qibla. From these discoveries, knowledge about Qibla direction determination technology developed from time to time. The history of determining the direction of Qibla in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta, has its pros and cons in its implementation. The renewal figure was KH Ahmad Dahlan who was the pioneer of the Qibla direction based on astronomical calculations. This research was conducted at Langgar Kidoel KH Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta, which was the first Muslim place of worship to apply an astronomical system in determining the direction of the Qibla in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the application of astronomy in the history of Islamic civilization and its relation to architecture. The results of the study show that astronomy is very influential in the field of architecture, namely in determining the direction of the Qibla and the cardinal directions which have an impact on the design of the orientation of the building and the concept of Islamic architecture. In building orientation, the Qibla direction and the cardinal directions are closely related to building physics and building access; while in the concept of Islamic architecture, the direction of the Qiblah and the cardinal directions affect the spatial arrangement in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet. Abstract

Dunia perancangan dan konstruksi memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap lingkungan alam dan tatanan sosial masyarakat, baik proses pengerjaan, penggunaan, sampai pembuangannya. Paham berkelanjutan dapat membantu mempraktikkan dan mendorong cara hidup yang berkelanjutan bagi proses tersebut. Selain itu, pembahasan mengenai bangunanan adaptasi berkaitan erat dengan keberlanjutan proses, fungsi, dan nilai bangunan. Kegiatan adaptasi dilakukan untuk mengelola dan mengendalikan perubahan dalam konteks fungsional dan fisik bangunan sehingga lebih efisien dan efektif. Berdasarkan isu Sustainable Development Goal’s (SDG), paham berkelanjutan merupakan agenda dunia pembangunan untuk perdamaian dan kemakmuran manusia dan alam. Melalui karya ini, peneliti mengkaji penerapan adaptasi berkelanjutan dan mencari kemutakhirannya pada kaitannya terhadap isu SDG. Selanjutnya, kajian antarvariabel adaptasi berkelanjutan yang menggunakan analisis pemetaan bibliometrik untuk menemukan gap terhadap kemutakhiran yang ada. Penelitian ini berupa kajian literatur yang menggunakan metode Sistematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pembahasan terkait adaptasi berkelanjutan sehingga peta besar kaitan antarmetode dan konteks  dapat diketahui. Dari kajian literatur dan pemetaan tersebut akan ditemukan kemutakhiran terhadap perkembangan metode adaptasi berkelanjutan dan gap yang terjadi. Temuan tersebut akan disesuaikan dengan konteks permasalahan dan kedalaman penelitian terhadap permasalahan yang berbeda dari setiap referensi.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept of adaptability in hospital architecture through a systematic literature review. The methodology used was Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with PRISMA approach, utilising Watase Uake platform for analysis for the analysis of 26 selected articles published between 2015 and 2024. The results show that the need for adaptability of hospital architecture is driven by advances in medical technology, demographic changes, and learning from the COVID-19 pandemic. Findings reveal that the implementation of modular design, separation of building systems into independent layers, and integration of information technology can facilitate building adaptability. The development of measurement tools from simple qualitative approaches to comprehensive models such as GAAT, OBAT, and OFAT designed specifically for healthcare facilities. However, their implementation still faces gaps especially in different local contexts. This research contributes to the understanding of the importance of adaptability in hospital design and highlights the need for the development of more specific measurement tools for the Indonesian context.
