Abstract

This research was conducted on Bandung City BKPSDM employees. The aim of this research is to determine the description and influence of Training and Promotion on Performance in the Personnel Unit at the Bandung City Human Resources Development Personnel Agency (BKPSDM). The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population in this study was 36 respondents who took part in training and job promotions. This research uses the census method and uses a questionnaire for data collection. The results of the validity test and reliability test using the Person Product Moment correlation method and Cronbach's Alpha, it is known that the items created are valid and calculations show that partial training has a significant positive effect on performance, while partial promotion has a significant positive effect on performance. The results of calculating the value of the Influence of Training and Promotion simultaneously by looking for the Determination Coefficient shows how much influence there is between the two variables which can be examined from the R value and is 0.743. The value of the r square (R2) is 0.552, so the Coefficient of Determination (KD) is 0.552 x 100%= 55.2%, this means that the influence of training and promotion on performance is 55.2% while the remaining 44.8% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Digital Marketing and Brand Image on consumer purchasing decisions for the Screamous fashion brand on the Shopee platform at RW 09 Komplek Padasuka Indah II, West Bandung Regency. Employing a descriptive and associative research design, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The findings indicate that Screamous’ Digital Marketing is categorized as effective but requires greater consistency to positively influence consumers’ lifestyles. Similarly, the Brand Image is considered strong yet has not fully delivered tangible benefits in consumers’ daily lives. The associative analysis reveals that Digital Marketing exerts a positive and significant effect of 19.05% on purchasing decisions, while Brand Image contributes 49.24%. Collectively, both variables have a combined positive and significant impact of 68.29% on consumer purchasing decisions. These results underscore the importance of optimizing digital marketing strategies and strengthening brand positioning to enhance consumer engagement and drive purchasing behavior.

Abstract

This research can be concluded as follows. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population in this study was 39 permanent employee respondents. This research uses the census method and uses a questionnaire for data collection. The results of validity and reliability tests using the Person product moment correlation method and Cronbach's alpha, it is known that the items created are valid and calculations show that work discipline partially has a significant positive effect on employee performance, while partial competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance. The results of calculating the value of the influence of work discipline and competence simultaneously by looking for the coefficient of determination show how much influence there is between the two variables which can be studied from the R value and is 0.742. The size of the R square (R2) is 0.551, so the coefficient of determination (KD) is 0.551 x 100% = 55.1%, this means that it shows the influence of work discipline and competence on employee performance by 55.1% while the remaining 44.9% is influenced by other variables.
