Abstract

This article is the result of research that aims to determine the value of Islamic education in an effort to preserve, one of the customs in Pacitan, East Java before Donorojo Regency, Pacitan, East Java, in the traditional ceprotan ceremony. Data collection techniques used in this study were in-depth interviews, direct observation, notes and archived documents. The data analysis technique in this study applies an interactive model, both in data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the community's understanding of the tradition (ceprotan) in Sekar village was relatively normal, with high awareness and understanding of their beliefs or the community. The community's understanding of the clean village tradition (ceprotan), teachings passed down from ancestors in order to be grateful for the gift of God Almighty.

Abstract

The Smart House Library was formed to help community get access learning resources while at the same time give sufficient the needs of community in Sekar Village, Donorojo District, Pacitan Regency. Sekar Village located at the western end of Pacitan City. Sekar Village has a problem, there is minimal community facilities to develop knowledge and skills of its community. The Smart House Library "Baskara Cendikia" is fully closest library service for the people of Sekar Village. Data collection methods used in this study were observation and interviews. Empowerment in Sekar Village is carried out through the "Baskara Cendikia" smart house, namely making the "Baskara Cendikia" smart house a center activity that able to improve quality of human resources and also as forum to channel interests, talents and hone community skills. The results of interviews and observations to several respondents obtained positive comments, where this library able to help children's learning, children's interest in learning technology is getting bigger, can provide a wider variety of teaching for children and they can get health facilities easily and practically

Abstract

This research aims to examine the Clean Village tradition as a form of local wisdom in dealing with drought in Ngunut Village, Bandar District, Pacitan Regency. Prolonged drought has become a serious challenge for local communities, affecting clean water needs and economic activities. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, this research explores the role of the Clean Village tradition in strengthening social, spiritual solidarity and community environmental awareness. Data collection was carried out through interviews with village elders and the community, participatory observation, and documentation of activities. The research results show that the Clean Village tradition not only functions as a sustainable cultural heritage, but also has pragmatic value in dealing with drought problems. This tradition is a moment of collective reflection and a symbolic effort to ask for rain, as well as strengthen the community's social relations in protecting the surrounding environment. The success of Petungsinarang Village with the government's pipeline and drilled well program shows that the synergy between local wisdom and modern programs can provide sustainable solutions.
