Abstract

The principles of Islamic banking are part of Islamic teachings related to the economy. One of the principles in Islamic economics is the prohibition of usury in various forms, and using a system, among others, in the form of the principle of profit sharing. Seeing the development of Islamic banks so far, Islamic principles which are the main basis for Islamic banks in carrying out their duties have not been able to be applied and enforced optimally, especially in the event of a dispute between the parties, the Islamic bank and its customers. The author is interested in researching how to enforce the law on sharia banking dispute resolution? This research is a normative juridical law research, which is a study of norms or laws between statutory regulations and other related regulations. The results of the study indicate that efforts to resolve a dispute can be carried out through two channels, namely the judicial route (litigation) and the non-litigation route. In the Islamic tradition, both are also used to resolve a dispute, but a peaceful settlement (shulh) is the best settlement (as-shulhu khair).

Abstract

Peningkatan kasus kenakalan remaja dan masalah kesehatan mental menjadi perhatian utama dalam pembangunan kesehatan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan serta pelatihan kepada kader Posyandu Remaja di Desa Mekar Jaya sebagai upaya pencegahan kenakalan remaja melalui pemahaman pentingnya kesehatan mental. Metode kegiatan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan penyuluhan, pelatihan keterampilan, dan evaluasi melalui pretest dan posttest terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader dalam mengidentifikasi dan menangani masalah kesehatan mental pada remaja. Kegiatan ini terbukti memberikan dampak positif dan dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan remaja yang efektif dalam lingkungan komunitas.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Mekar Jaya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui strategi digital branding dengan pemanfaatan desain logo, banner, dan manajemen media sosial Instagram. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan pengetahuan pemasaran, akses distribusi, modal, serta pemanfaatan teknologi oleh pelaku UMKM. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi konsep branding dan digital marketing, pelatihan pembuatan identitas merek, dokumentasi produk, serta pendampingan pengelolaan akun Instagram. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam mengelola identitas merek, membuat konten visual yang menarik, serta memanfaatkan media sosial untuk memperluas pasar. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di pasar yang semakin kompetitif dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Public trust constitutes the main foundation of the legitimacy of legislative institutions within a local democratic system. In 2025, a sting operation conducted by the Corruption Eradication Commission against membersi of the Regional People’s Representative Council of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency triggered a crisis of public trust toward the institution. This study focuses on examining the extent to which the performance of the Regional People’s Representative Council of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency influences the level of public trust following the sting operation. The objectivesi of thisi research are to analyze the effect of DPRD performance on public trust and to identify efforts to restore the legitimacy of the local legislative institution. This study employs public trust and legitimacy theories as the main theoretical framework to explain the relationshiip between the performaince of public institutions and public support. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used. The research was conducted in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2025, involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a closed-ended questvionnaire, while data analysis was performed using simple linear regression, a t-test, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that the performance of the Regional People’s Representative Council has a significant effect on the level of public trust, with a coefficient of determination of 0.582, meaning that DPRD performance accounts for 58.2% of the viariation in public trust. The conclusion of this study confirms that improving DPRD performance is crucial for restoring public trust after the sting operation. Therefore, it is recommended that the Regional People’s Representative Council enhance transparency, accountability, and public communication to strengthen institutional legitimacy and public trust.

Abstract

Car Free Day, which is intended to serve as a space for social, cultural, and recreational activities, has also been utilized by street vendors (PKL) to sell their goods. As an institution responsible for enforcing regional regulations, the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) often faces various challenges that cause vendors to repeatedly return to trading activities. This study was conducted from September 21 to October 12, 2025, using a descriptive qualitative research method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving informants from Satpol PP, the Housing and Settlement Office (Perkim), the Trade Office (Disperindag), street vendors, and the community. The results of the study indicate that communication among Satpol PP, Perkim, and Disperindag has not been carried out optimally. In addition, relocation facilities for street vendors are not yet available. The implementers’ disposition has not been fully exercised, as Perkim and Disperindag rarely participate directly in enforcement activities. Furthermore, within the bureaucratic structure, there is no specific Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) governing the division of duties among Satpol PP, Perkim, and the Trade Office. To achieve order and comfort in the Car Free Day area of Baturaja City Park, several measures are required, including strengthening communication among Satpol PP, Perkim, and the Trade Office : providing appropriate relocation sites for street vendors; requiring Satpol PP to submit formal requests prior to enforcement actions; and encouraging the local government to establish SOPs that clearly regulate task distribution in managing street vendors within the Car Free Day area of Baturaja City Park.

Abstract

The increase in the number of motor vehicles that is not proportional to road capacity has caused traffic problems in Baturaja Timur District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Traffic congestion mainly occurs during peak hours due to commercial, educational, and office activities. This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Transportation Agency in traffic governance based on good governance principles. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that traffic governance strategies have been implemented through traffic management and engineering, field supervision, and the provision of supporting facilities. However, their implementation still faces constraints related to resource limitations, community participation, and policy sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the SP4N-LAPOR application on the effectiveness of handling public complaints in Baturaja Timur District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The implementation of an e-governance–based complaint management system is essential to improving transparency and public service quality; therefore, empirical analysis is needed to assess its contribution to complaint handling performance. This research employs a quantitative method using a questionnaire consisting of 48 items distributed to 112 respondents. Validity and reliability tests show that all questionnaire items are valid and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha for variable X = 0.943; variable Y = 0.957). The hypothesis test indicates that the t-value (11.298) exceeds the t-table value (1.982) with a significance of 0.000, proving that the use of the SP4N-LAPOR application significantly influences the effectiveness of complaint handling. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.551) shows that SP4N-LAPOR contributes 55.1% to the effectiveness of public complaint resolution. These findings demonstrate that the SP4N-LAPOR application plays an important role in accelerating responses, improving accuracy in handling complaints, and strengthening public information transparency.

Abstract

The transformation of digital technology in the public service sector, particularly in health, is an inevitable necessity. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital transformation in health services at the Health Office of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024, using five dimensions from Royyana's theory: human resources, process, structure, strategy, and technology adoption. This is a descriptive qualitative study, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show improved service efficiency, data transparency, and speed in public health delivery. However, challenges persist such as limited digital literacy, infrastructure gaps, and resistance to change. The study recommends capacity building, organizational restructuring, and adaptive digital strategies.
