Abstract

SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok is a secondary educational institution situated in the village of Situmba, Sipirok District, under the South Tapanuli Regency. This study aimed to assess the impact of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok Sipirok. This research is classified as associative research. The research population consisted of all employees at SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok Sipirok. The study has a sample size of 32 respondents. The data gathering methods employed in this study encompassed the use of questionnaires and interviews. The study demonstrated that both emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence had a partially good and significant impact on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Sipirok Sipirok. The equation Y = -21,542 + 0.302 X1 + 0.199 X2 + e, derived from multiple linear regression analysis, indicates a positive and unidirectional association between the variable X and the variable Y. The Adjusted R Square (R2) value of 62% indicates that the combined influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on teacher performance at SMP Negei 5 Sipirok is 62%. The remaining 38% is attributed to other variables not considered in this study model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of community participation in improving the quality of public services in Pematang Serai Village, Langkat Regency. Based on the results of the study, it was found that community participation in improving the quality of public services in Pematang Serai Village can be said to be effective. This can be seen from several indicators, including: 1) Increasing transparency and accountability of public services, 2) improving the quality of public services and 3) increasing public satisfaction with public services. Factors that support the effectiveness of community participation in improving the quality of public services in Pematang Serai Village include: 1) Community understanding of the importance of participation, 2) village government alignment towards community participation and 3) community togetherness and cohesiveness. Community participation is one of the important factors in improving the quality of public services. With community participation, village governments can better understand community needs and provide higher quality public services.

Abstract

Era globalisasi telah memaksa lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk melakukan transformasi dan inovasi agar mampu bertahan dan bersaing secara global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen strategis dalam meningkatkan daya saing lembaga pendidikan Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, studi ini mengkaji strategi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam yang sukses menghadapi tantangan global. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga yang menerapkan analisis SWOT secara optimal, memiliki visi misi yang adaptif, serta mampu membangun jejaring internasional, terbukti lebih unggul dalam merespons tuntutan global. Implikasi strategis ini mencakup perlunya kepemimpinan transformatif, integrasi teknologi, dan penguatan nilai-nilai Islam sebagai identitas khas.

Abstract

Desentralisasi pendidikan telah menjadi paradigma dominan dalam reformasi sistem pendidikan global selama beberapa dekade terakhir. Kebijakan ini bertujuan meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan sekolah melalui distribusi kewenangan kepada pemerintah daerah dan institusi pendidikan. Namun, di tengah upaya tersebut, muncul fenomena yang semakin mendapat perhatian akademik, yaitu krisis otoritas dalam manajemen sekolah modern. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis secara konseptual hubungan antara desentralisasi dan melemahnya struktur otoritas sekolah serta implikasinya terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui systematic literature review terhadap berbagai sumber akademik, termasuk jurnal internasional, buku teori manajemen pendidikan, dan laporan lembaga global. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa desentralisasi dapat memperkuat partisipasi lokal dan mendorong inovasi, tetapi juga berpotensi menimbulkan ambiguitas kepemimpinan, fragmentasi kebijakan, dan ketimpangan mutu pendidikan antarwilayah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan model tata kelola hibrida yang menyeimbangkan otonomi dengan akuntabilitas serta kepemimpinan adaptif yang mampu mengelola kompleksitas organisasi pendidikan modern. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memperluas diskursus tentang otoritas organisasi pendidikan sekaligus menawarkan rekomendasi strategis bagi pengambil kebijakan.
