Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Blended learning method in history subjects on students' learning motivation in the learning process in class X IIS SMA Labschool Untad Palu and to analyze the role of the Blended Learning method in increasing student motivation in history subjects in the learning process in class X IIS Labschool Untad Palu High School. This research is a qualitative study which took place at Labschool Untad Palu High School, Palu City, Central Sulawesi. The subjects of this study were all students of class X IIS at SMA Labschool Untad Palu with a total of 1 class and 23 students, as well as history teachers who teach at SMA Labschool Untad Palu. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing techniques are descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the implementation of the Blended Learning method in history subjects on student learning motivation in the learning process in class X IIS SMA Labschool Untad Palu was the learning process carried out in 5 working days, 4 working days carried out face-to-face in class and 1 day carried out face-to-face online or online. The application of the Blended Learning method can increase student learning motivation, especially in class X IIS SMA Labschool Untad Palu. This can be seen from the successful achievement of the seven indicators of the Blended Learning method and the increase in the average score of students' history subjects from 87.24 to 89.45. The role of the Blended Learning method in increasing student motivation in history subjects in the learning process in class X IIS SMA Labschool Untad Palu is very important and can give a special impression to students.

Abstract

The utilization of museums as a contextual learning tool has significant potential to improve the quality of history education. This research shows that museums not only serve as places for storing historical artifacts but also function as interactive and contextual learning media for history education. Through museum visits, students can engage directly with the collections, deepening their understanding of historical and cultural contexts. This study aims to explore how museums can be utilized as an effective learning resource in history education, particularly at SMA Labschool Palu. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The results indicate that museum visits increase students' interest and engagement. However, challenges such as lack of promotion and limited access to museums hinder the optimal utilization of museums as a learning resource

Abstract

Abstract This research to implement a multidimensional approach in history learning to strengthen historical thinking skills in class XI IPS 1 students of SMA Labschool Untad Palu. The research method used in this study is qualitative research, the data collection process is carried out starting from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained from this study are that students are able to achieve historical thinking indicators including chronological thinking, historical understanding, historical analysis and interpretation, historical research skills, and historical issue analysis and decision making. The application of a multidimensional approach helps develop deeper historical thinking skills, broadens students' horizons, and improves their ability to assess historical information critically and objectively. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan pendekatan multidimensional dalam pembelajaran sejarah guna memperkuat keterampilan berpikir sejarah pada peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Labschool Untad Palu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, proses pengumpulan data dilakukan mulai dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik mampu mencapai indikator berpikir sejarah meliputi berpikir kronologis, pemahaman sejarah, analisis dan interpretasi sejarah, kemampuan penelitian sejarah, serta analisis isu sejarah dan pengambilan keputusan. Penerapan pendekatan multidimensional membantu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir sejarah yang lebih mendalam, memperluas wawasan peserta didik, serta meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam menilai informasi sejarah secara kritis dan objektif.

Abstract

Abstract Women's emancipation can be said to have started when there was a controversy about one's attitude or behavior or views about respect for women. The success of women's emancipation can be seen from the large number of women today who are developing their careers in various fields, one of which is in the field of education to become a teacher. The focus of this study was to look at the success of female teachers in implementing the Blended Learning method in students' learning motivation at SMA Labschool Untad Palu compared to male teachers. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. With this research it is hoped that it can add insight and knowledge about the role of women in education. Abstrak Emansipasi wanita dapat dikatakan dimulai ketika terjadi kontroversi tentang sikap atau perilaku atau pandangan seseorang tentang penghargaan terhadap wanita. Keberhasilan emansipasi wanita dapat dilihat banyaknya perempuan-perempuan saat ini yang mengembangkan karirnya diberbagai bidang salah satunya di bidang pendidikan menjadi seorang guru. Fokus penelitian ini adalah melihat keberhasilan guru perempuan terhadap implementasi metode Blended Learning dalam motivasi belajar siswa di SMA Labschool Untad Palu dibandingkan guru laki-laki. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai peran perempuan dalam pendidikan.
