Abstract

Pelabuhan Petrokimia Gresik is one of the element to support the goverment regarding to maintain stability of fertilizer loading speed. The issue that occurs at Pelabuhan Petrokimia Gresik is the low speed of loading of fertilizer in the bag for the past 4 years. The low speed of loading fertilizer in bag tends to affect its cost. This study aims to simulate the process of loading fertilizer in bag at the Port of Petrokimia Gresik in order to find out the factors which influence the speed deterioration of fertilizer bagging process and applicable alternative scenarios to improve the process of loading fertilizer in bag. Simulations were executed using discrete simulation methods. The results show that loading speed downturn are influenced by significant factors as follows: high loading preparation time at the dock, which consumes 29,35% of loading activity; the high loading time at the dock, which reaches 23,15% of loading activity; also the extensive duration of truck commute from the warehouse to the pier which utilizes 22,95% of loading activity. This study evaluate 7 alternative improvement scenarios. According to ROI perspective, it is preeminent to additionally put field internal control personnel at each shift when loading fertilizer in bag, which can increase the loading speed to 668,29 tons / day, of investment (ROI) of 68% will be obtained within 1 year and the payback period will approximately result in 0,60 years. The best scenario in terms of loading speed is to add internal control personnel and apply a new method of loading fertilizer using a sling bag with an increase in loading rate to 804.17 tons / day, following ROI value of 23% within one year and a PP value of 0.81 year.

Abstract

Di Indonesia terkenal dengan perairannya yang memiliki potensi untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dengan memanfaatkan gelombang dan arus laut. Untuk memanfaatkan energy alam yang tersedia dari gelombang laut itu maka dilakukan penelitian tentang linear generator untuk pembangkit listrik tenaga gelombang laut. Untuk melakukan pembuatan linear generator memerlukan beberapa kali penelitian tentang hal ini. Salah satunya adalah tentang bagaimana magnetisasi yang ditimbulkan oleh translator dapat menjadi optimal dan menghasilkan daya yang besar. Untuk itu penelitian magnetisasi dilakukan dengan cara membuat berbagai prototype magnet induksi dan magnet permanen untuk membandingkan mana yang lebih baik. Dengan ukuran ketebalan magnet induksi 2 cm dan variasi lilitan 50 dan 100 lilitan dan juga diset untuk voltase 6 volt maka didapatlah hasil fluks magnet tertinggi dari prototype magnet 100 lilitan sebesar 23.8 weber.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan sintesis padatan Mg1-xZnxF2 (x=0; 0,025; 0,050; 0,075; 0,100 dan 0,150) dengan metode sol-gel. Padatan hasil sintesis ditentukan keasamannya dengan metode adsorpsi piridin kemudian diamati dengan spektrofotometer FTIR. Sisi asam tertinggi baik Lewis maupun Brønsted diperoleh pada padatan Mg0,925Zn0,075F2. Semakin besar jumlah mol dopant Zn yang ditambahkan, semakin tinggi keasaman padatan.

Abstract

Characteristic organic geochemistry of crude oil Juwata, Tarakan, North Kalimantan provide information about the depositional sedimental environment and maturity of the oil. Crude oil was extracted with n-hexane (50: 2) for 24 hours to separate the crude oil with asphaltene, and if precipitation does not separate perfectly then centrifuged. Extracts were then refractionated using column chromatography according to the methods McCharty base. Fractionation results are obtained in the form of the neutral fraction, the acid fraction and polar fraction. Neutral fraction separated with KLTP method and aliphatic fraction and aromatic fractions. Aliphatic fraction subsequently analyzed by GC-MS. GC-MS analysis aliphatic fraction of n-alkanes in the form of compounds, and hopane, bikadinancompounds. The pattern of distribution of n-alkanes which consists of a range of C-17 to C-33. Carbon distribution with a range of C-21 to C-33 is dominating compared to the C-17 to C-20. This distribution pattern indicates the source of organic matter from terrestrial land wax component derived from higher plants. Hopane presence of compounds in crude oil aliphatic fractionsJuwata Tarakan, North Kalimantan analyzed by fragmentogram m/z = 191. Hopane biomarker provide that information during the sedimentation stage diagenesis these compounds are degraded and stereochemical changes towards a stable isomer form, configuration changes 17α (H), 21β (H) during the process of diagenesis to a stable isomer which is 17 α (H), 21β (H) or 21β (H), 17 α (H) indicates that oil comes from the old sediments. Biomarka bikadina identified according fragmentogram m/z = 191 multiple ion fragment m/z = 109.191, 369, 397 and ion molecular m/z = 412 showed the characteristic fragment bikadinna compound. Biomarka bikadina give information influx of organic material terrestrial region. The compounds showed crude oils biomarker Juwata Tarakan, North Kalimantan derived from terrestrial depositional environments.
