Abstract

The global covid-19 pandemic has affected all sectors of human life. Humans have to adapt the new ways of life. One of the new ways of life is to use a mask when doing activities outside the home. Health protocol policies, including the use of masks, are a form of government responsibility in overcoming the covid-19 pandemic. The policy will not be able to achieve success if it is not supported by the public. Health protocol policies, including the use of masks, have the main goal of breaking the chain of the spread of covid-19. In Jombang regency regulation of health, protocols are regulated in Peraturan Bupati no. 57 Tahun 2020. This study was conducted to find out how the public adheres to these policies and regulations. This study uses qualitative methods using primary and secondary data. Data collections techniques used are interviews, observation and, documentation. The data analysis used in this study is the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data display and, conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study indicate that the public is obedient to the policies and rules for the use of masks, only to obey the regulation and avoid sanctions and not to realize the main goal of the policy, which is to break the chain of the spread of covid-19 so that the pandemic can end soon.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran  sekretaris desa dalam pengelolaan anggaran tahun 2023 di Desa Jatirejo, Kecamatan Diwek, Kabupaten Jombang. Hal tersebut dapat berpengaruh terhadap tercapainya tujuan pembangunan yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif guna menjelaskan secara mendalam mengenai fenomena yang dikaji. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Jatirejo, Kecamatan Diwek, Kabupaten Jombang. Penentuan informan dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Data-data tersebut kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan diperiksa keabsahannya menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Sekretaris Desa Jatirejo mempunyai peranan yang signifikan dalam pengelolaan anggaran tahun 2023, mulai dari penyusunan, pelaksanaan, hingga pelaporan. Di mana Sekretaris Desa Jatirejo sudah menjalankan peran sesuai dengan peraturan dan prosedur yang berlaku.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the learning strategies for tahfidz Al-Qur’an at the boarding school MI Miftahut Thulab, as well as the factors that support and hinder the improvement of students’ memorization quality. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the tahfidz learning strategy is implemented through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage includes setting memorization targets adjusted to students’ educational level and initial ability, preparing daily schedules, selecting the methods talaqqi, tikrar, and muroja’ah, and determining memorization quality standards. The implementation stage is supported by a conducive boarding school environment that enables students to internalize routines of worship and tahfidz consistently. The evaluation stage is conducted in a tiered manner to monitor the fluency, accuracy, and consistency of memorization. The study also found supporting factors, including a conducive learning environment, the competence of teachers and musyrif, structured planning, as well as students’ motivation and parental support, all of which play an important role in improving memorization quality. Inhibiting factors include differences in students’ initial abilities, limited time, fatigue or boredom, and inadequate supporting facilities. In conclusion, the success of tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning is highly dependent on the integration between systematic instructional strategies and the management of supporting and inhibiting factors, enabling students to achieve their memorization targets effectively, consistently, and sustainably.

Abstract

Islamic education aims to develop learners’ potential in a holistic manner, encompassing cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions in accordance with human fitrah, thereby requiring support from psychology to enable educators to understand learners’ characteristics and needs at each stage of development. This study aimed to describe the role of psychology in Islamic education, the psychological approaches that support learning and the formation of Islamic character, the forms of integrating psychology into curricula and teaching methods, as well as the obstacles and solutions in its implementation within Islamic educational settings. The findings indicate that an understanding of developmental psychology enables educators to align instructional methods and moral upbringing with learners’ psychological readiness. Islamic psychological approaches contribute to creating humanistic learning, enhancing learning motivation, and more effectively internalizing the values of tauhid and akhlakul karimah. The integration of psychology into the curriculum and teaching methods of Islamic education supports the realization of holistic, learner-centered learning oriented toward the formation of an Islamic personality. Nevertheless, the application of psychology in Islamic education continues to face various challenges, including teachers’ limited understanding of psychological concepts, insufficient training, and dichotomous views between religious and general sciences. Accordingly, it is necessary to strengthen teachers’ competencies, develop teacher education curricula that are integrated with Islamic psychology, and foster collaboration between psychologists and Islamic education practitioners. This study affirms that Islamic psychological approaches are a crucial element in realizing Islamic education that is effective, humanistic, and oriented toward the comprehensive character formation of learners.

Abstract

Amaliyah tasawuf constitutes an integral part of the Islamic spiritual tradition, playing a significant role in shaping the character and personality of santri (Islamic boarding school students). KH. Muslih Abdurrahman Mranggen, a prominent tarekat scholar and founder of Pesantren Futuhiyyah, developed a tasawuf-based education system through practices such as zikir, riyāḍah, wirid, and khalwat, which serve as instruments for spiritual development. This study aims to examine the forms of amaliyah tasawuf taught by KH. Muslih and explore their relevance to character education in the modern era. A qualitative approach was employed, using library research and interviews as the primary data collection methods. The findings reveal that KH. Muslih’s tasawuf practices contribute significantly to strengthening spiritual dimensions and fostering the character of santri, emphasizing values such as patience, sincerity, humility (tawāḍuʿ), and social responsibility. These tasawuf practices extend beyond personal piety, encouraging the internalization of moral values in the social lives of students. The study concludes that revitalizing the tasawuf-based values of KH. Muslih is highly relevant in addressing the moral degradation challenges faced by today’s youth and can serve as a foundational model for designing character education systems rooted in Islamic spirituality.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental aspect of human life, and in the Indonesian context, the urgency of character education continues to grow amid rising moral issues such as student brawls, drug abuse, and corruption. This study aims to examine the importance of character education in shaping students’ emotional and moral intelligence based on the principles of the Qur’an and Hadith. A literature study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings indicate that character education functions not only as the inculcation of moral values but also as a guide for navigating emotional and social challenges. The teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith emphasize values such as honesty, justice, and kindness, which serve as the foundation for the development of noble character. Ideally, character education should begin in early childhood, with active involvement from parents and teachers as behavioral role models through habituation, exemplary conduct, and motivational support. The lack of implementation of values such as responsibility and respect within the school environment underscores the need to strengthen character education rooted in Islamic values. The study concludes that character education grounded in the Qur’an and Hadith plays a strategic role in producing individuals of integrity who can contribute positively to the nation’s civilization, with the family serving as the first and most influential educational institution.

Abstract

Worldview is generally understood as a philosophy or life principle held by individuals, nations, cultures, or civilizations. When related to culture, the meaning of worldview adjusts to the characteristics of that culture, ultimately shaping one’s perception of existence and reality. Dominant factors in the formation of a worldview may stem from philosophy, religion, belief systems, or specific social value structures. Differences in these factors generate a spectrum of perspectives, ranging from those focused solely on worldly aspects to those encompassing metaphysical dimensions. As a framework, worldview comprises fundamental aspects that serve as benchmarks for interpreting life. In this regard, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas identifies nine core components of the Islamic worldview: God, revelation (al-Qur’an), creation (the universe), the human soul, knowledge, religion, freedom, values and virtues, and happiness. Islam as a worldview offers a complete, eternal, and transcendent value system that, when adopted as a life guide, directs individuals toward true happiness in both this world and the hereafter. This paper aims to examine how Islam as a worldview shapes human attitudes and life orientations. The study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach based on various relevant sources. The findings indicate that the Islamic worldview can serve as a comprehensive life framework for navigating the complexities of modern life.

Abstract

Islamic educational philosophy views education as a means to achieve the ultimate human goal, drawing closer to Allah, attaining wisdom, and building a just and moral society. Within this framework, educators bear the responsibility of developing the full potential of learners, affective, cognitive, and psychomotor in accordance with Islamic values. Learners, as both subjects and objects of education, require guidance to direct and cultivate their potential. The relationship between educators and learners is complementary: educators assist learners in adapting to themselves and to life’s challenges, acting as leaders, implementers of education, and members of the community; while learners actively seek, understand, and apply knowledge. This study examines the educator–learner relationship at MI Miftahut Thulab based on the principles of mutual respect, compassion, and guidance toward moral and intellectual excellence. The findings indicate that educators serve as role models and mentors, while learners actively engage in the learning process. The balance between Islamic and general knowledge is key to fostering progressive and Islamic education.
