Abstract

The Coping Strategy is a way that is considered effective in overcoming the problems experienced by the Indonesian people during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially the Javanese people. The implementation of the coping strategy will have a positive impact on the lives of the Javanese people in carrying out daily activities. The research method used in this study is qualitative to uncover the meaning of social problems experienced by individuals or communities, with the focus of research being the impact of implementing the coping strategy of the Javanese community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collection technique used in this study was an open questionnaire disseminated through the media of google forms. The subjects of this study were 100 respondents of Javanese people with adult categories domiciled in the Surakarta residency area (Surakarta City, Karanganyar Regency, Sragen Regency, Wonogiri Regency, Sukoharjo Regency, Klaten Regency, and Boyolali Regency) for at least two years. The field data that have been obtained are analyzed using thematic analysis. The result of this study is the positive impact felt by the Javanese people after implementing coping strategies during the pandemic, namely changes in each individual and feeling positive feelings. The results of this study provide information to the public that the implementation of coping strategies has a positive impact on carrying out daily activities.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam pengalaman anak mengenai overprotective dan menggali permasalahan anak ketika mendapat aturan yang berlebihan dari orang tua. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan yaitu kualitatif fenomenalogi dengan melakukan wawancara. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dikarenakan peneliti sudah memiliki karakteristik untuk partisipan sehingga peneliti mencari partisipan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik tersebut. Karakteristik yang dipilih adalah anak yang berusia antara 11-25 tahun, yang masih memiliki keluarga lengkap, memiliki aturan ketat dalam keluarga, dan tinggal dengan keluarga inti (tidak tinggal dengan kakek, nenek, saudara dll. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan empat tema mengenai pengalaman overprotective yang dilakukan orang tua dalam perspektif anak, tema tersebut ialah pandangan anak mengenai overprotective, keinginan orang tua terhadap anak, bentuk perilaku overprotective orang tua, dan dampak overprotective pada anak. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pandangan anak terhadap overprotective berlebihan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua membawa pengaruh perilaku positif dan negatif, tetapi lebih dominan memberikan efek negatif bagi kehidupan anak. Penelitian Ini memberikan Informasi kepada masyarakat khususnya kepada orang tua bahwa perilaku overprotective bisa memberikan dampak buruk bagi anak. Hal Ini bisa menjadi pertimbangan bagaimana peran keluarga khususnya orang tua dalam bersikap ketika berhadapan dengan anak.   Abstract The purpose of this research was conducted to find out more about children's experiences regarding over-protectiveness and explore children's problems when they get excessive rules from their parents. The research method used is qualitative phenomenalogy by conducting interviews. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling because researchers already had characteristics for participants, so researchers looked for participants who matched these characteristics. The characteristics selected are children aged between 11-25 years, who still have a complete family, have strict family rules, and live with a nuclear family (don't live with grandparents, siblings etc. The results of this study provide four themes regarding over-the-counter experiences). protective behavior carried out by parents from the child's perspective, the theme is the child's view of overprotectiveness, the desire of parents for children, forms of parental overprotective behavior, and the impact of overprotectiveness on children from this study it can be concluded that children's views on overprotectiveness carried out by parents brings positive and negative behavioral influences, but more dominantly has a negative effect on children's lives. This research provides information to the public, especially to parents, that overprotective behavior can have a bad impact on children. This can be a consideration of how the role family, especially parents, in their behavior when dealing with children.

Abstract

Stereotip gender merupakan suatu fenomena masyarakat yang membahas tentang perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Stereotip gender sangat mempengaruhi cara pandang individu terhadap individu lainnya dan ini juga berpengaruh terhadap interpretasi individu pada suatu hal tertentu. Stereotip gender saat ini secara sadar maupun tidak masih menjadi fenomena yang sering terjadi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya stereotip gender dan mengetahui dampak stereotip gender terhadap kesejahteraan perempuan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan studi fenomenologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu teknik yang bertujuan untuk pengambilan data tertentu. Alat dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa wawancara dengan waktu rata-rata sekitar 1 jam serta terdiri dari 13 pertanyaan. Hasilnya, faktor stereotip gender adalah stigma masyarakat terhadap perempuan yang memandang perempuan secara rendah. Dampak dari stereotip gender ini adalah rasa tidak aman, pendapat yang tidak didengarkan, dikucilkan dari lingkungan sehingga perempuan tidak mampu dalam mencapai kesejahteraan. Abstract

The study of post-traumatic growth (PTG) in bullying victims is an effort to understand how individuals can grow and develop after experiencing trauma due to acts of bullying. This study aimed to understand the experience of PTG in victims of physical, verbal, and cyberbullying, and factors that influence an individual's ability to experience PTG after bullying. This study used a phenomenological approach and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews. Five informants were selected using the purposive sampling technique based on criteria relevant to the research including university students, who had experienced bullying and trauma, and had achieved post-traumatic growth. The results showed that bullying could trigger a process of reflection, meaning-making, and emotional growth that led to positive changes in the victim, such as developing a stronger, independent, and confident attitude. The study also revealed that a supportive social environment is very important in helping bullying victims achieve PTG.

Abstract

Perencanaan karir sangat dibutuhkan bagi siswa SMA untuk membantu dalam memilih jenis studi lanjut dan pemilihan rencana kerja, akan tetapi masih banyak siswa yang bingung akan karir apa yang akan dijalani di kemudian hari. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini memiliki tujuan sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengambilan keputusan karir siswa, dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan dengan kombinasi dari metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab serta adanya evaluasi program secara online diakhir sesi. Mitra kegitan PKM ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Plaosan Magetan dan SMA Negeri 3 Magetan yang belum memiliki gambaran karir, belum menentukan pilihan karir dan karir siswa masih diatur oleh orang tua/keluarga. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pengambilan keputusan karir peserta PKM melalui pelatihan karir yang diberikan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata pada pengukuran awal adalah 63.38 dan nilai rata-rata pengukuran akhir 88.00 dan adanya perubahan pengambilan keputusan karir yang akan di jalankan peserta di kemudian hari. Dengan demikian pelatihan ini efektif untuk meningkatkan keputusan karir siswa dan berkontribusi untuk ranah pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan tingkat SMA untuk mempersiapkan karir siswa pasca lulus sekolah

Abstract

Subjective well-being is a critical aspect that influences the quality of life and performance of teachers, particularly honorary teachers who face financial challenges and limited career opportunities. One key factor that can enhance subjective well-being is gratitude, a positive emotion that fosters appreciation for life and the blessings received. This study aims to analyze the influence of gratitude on the subjective well-being of honorary teachers in Pakel District. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 147 teachers as the sample, selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments included a gratitude scale and a subjective well-being scale, both measured using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that gratitude has a positive and significant influence on subjective well-being (R²=52.1%; p<0.05). This finding suggests that higher levels of gratitude correspond to better subjective well-being among teachers. However, 47.9% of the variation in subjective well-being is influenced by other factors, such as social support, working conditions, and demographic characteristics. This study highlights the importance of fostering gratitude as a strategy to improve the subjective well-being of teachers, particularly honorary teachers.

Abstract

Human Resource (HR) management is one of the most important factors in determining organizational success. One of them is a broadcasting organization. This research aims to identify the HR management process in broadcasting organizations and find implementation strategies. This type of research uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. This research uses purposive sampling data collection techniques with five participants at the SATU TV broadcasting organization with the following characteristics: first, the participant must be an organizer and currently serving in one of the broadcasting organizations, the second must have experience in being a producer or in leading the program, on the organization. The data collection instrument used was interviewed. The research results reveal the process of HR management in broadcasting organizations as follows: 1) division of tasks and authority, 2) becoming a forum for talents and interests, 3) established communication, 4) HR development, and 5) evaluation. The strategies carried out in the management process are as follows: 1) there are challenges to finding solutions for, 2) approach the crew, 3) overcome boredom with holidays, and 4) empower seniors in the production process if they experience difficulties. The results of this research can help organizational producers in the broadcasting sector manage HR.

Abstract

The concept of work-life balance has become increasingly popular in recent years. The demands of dedicating oneself to work, managing household responsibilities, and fulfilling non-work obligations have led many modern workers to adopt work-life balance strategies to harmonize their professional and personal lives. This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on job satisfaction among female employees at Pitoe Cigarette Factory, Trenggalek. The research employed a simple linear regression analysis method, using data collected from questionnaires completed by 95 female employees as samples. The results of the simple linear regression test indicated a positive relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction, with a p-value of 0.000, which is less than the significance threshold of 0.05. This finding demonstrates that improved work-life balance can contribute to increased job satisfaction among female employees. The coefficient of determination (R²) was found to be 0.413, indicating that 41.3% of the variation in job satisfaction is explained by work-life balance. Furthermore, the study revealed that both work-life balance and job satisfaction levels were categorized as moderate, suggesting the need for greater attention to managing the balance between work and personal life. These findings are expected to provide insights for Pitoe Cigarette Factory management and other companies in designing policies that support work-life balance, ultimately enhancing job satisfaction and productivity among female employees.
